"You gonna tell him or not!?" Yeri literally growled at me getting all frustrated ultimately.

"I can't! I'm scared!" I reasoned out face planting my head on the cushion.

I was currently at my best friend Yeri's house. She is my co-worker and one of the few friends I have. She also knows about the Xiao Jun thing. The real tea is, that after I saw my soulmate tattoo on his wrist, I internally freaked out so much, I couldn't muster up the courage to tell him. And how would I even?

"Hey Xiaojun! Guess what? You're my soulmate!"

Or.

"Xiaojun I know it's freaky coincidence but L O L! We're soulmates!"

It feels so stupid and complicated!

"Y/N I'm curious about one thing though... How come he never noticed your tattoo?" she asked with a finger on her chin and taking a seat beside me.

"I might or might not have always worn full sleeves with him....." I trailed off trying to act as innocent as possible.

Yeri looked at me with an unreadable expression for a moment or two before screeching out. "What??!???!"

"You idiot! How can you wear full sleeves during summers!?" she asked almost unbelievably flailing her arms earning an awkward chuckle from me.

"Good thing we don't live in a tropical country." Yeri muttered and rolled her eyes. "Or else you would've felt like grilled chicken and smell like rotten eggs."

"Hey!" I revolted slapping her arm as she laughed at my reaction while defending herself.

"But come on, you gotta tell him or even better! I have the perfect plan sweetie!" she exclaimed lastly with a sudden spark in her eyes and a knowing smirk.

Oh god... I'm doomed.

"You look so amazing!!!!" Yeri squealed beside me as I stood there looking at my reflection in the mirror.

"Seriously Yeri what are you doing?" I asked nervously as she guided me down the stairs.

"Playing matchmaker duh!" she chuckled and asked me to sit patiently in the living room.

"Someone might come to take you on a date~" she said in a sing song voice and my jaw dropped.

"What Yeri–" but before I could say anything the doorbell rang.

"Oh it might be him!" she exclaimed and skipped to get the door as I mentally face palmed.

As expected, Xiao Jun walked in with his usual gentleman like smile and I swear I did melt the very moment I saw him. How could I ignore such a handsome and angelic looking man? I abruptly stood up settling my dress. I was more than nervous since he never saw me in short sleeves or half sleeves or sleeveless. And I was more nervous that he would notice my tattoo and I had no idea how he would react to it.

"You look beautiful." he said softly smiling at me and extending his hand for me. "I thought I could take you out for dinner? And Yeri coincidentally called at the same time saying that you want to hang out. So let's go?" he said.

Wait. Yeri did not just say that! Oh my god that lying pretty fairy face!

"Oh yeah, sure." I said with a smile and gave my hand on his, enduring he doesn't see my tattoo.

"Aww! You guys look like y'all are going on your first date!" Yeri said cutely clasping her hands together and looking at us like she saw the cutest thing ever.

My eyes widened at her comment and I was mentally prepared to jab a knife into her throat but then I looked at Xiaojun who was blushing and scratching the back of his head. "If Y/N wants it to be a date, I'm fine with it."

I couldn't believe what he just said. Oh my god, an I dreaming??

Even Yeri looked slightly surprised and soon after she pushed us out of her door and bid us goodbye for the day. "Au Revoir~" she said getting a glare from me.

It had been almost an hour and we were done with our food. I felt so good right now. I just had one of the best dinners ever. I loved Oriental food anyway.

"What do you want for desert?" he asked looking up from the menu card.

"Oh no nothing. I don't have enough money to afford the desert as well." I chuckled sheepishly and waved off my hand.

"What? I'm paying! Not you!" he corrected me and I couldn't believe it. "No you can't pay for the whole thing!"

"Yes I can."

"No!"

"Yes."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No–" he had just held my hand, particularly my wrist and was my now looking at the tattoo. Shit... I forgot about it...

"Uh..."

"Why didn't you tell me!?" he half gasped and looked at me.

"I actually... I didn't want to freak you out–"

He kissed me.

His lips crashed on mine and he held my shoulders firmly pulling me in for the kiss. My eyes were wide open as a gush of red spread on my cheeks.

"I love you." he whispered after moving away.

"I... I..." I didn't know what to say. I was too shocked from everything.

"I always had feelings for you and this... This is the best thing that has ever happened to me." he said with a delighted smile on his face making me smile too.

"I thought you'll hate me..." I trailed off blushing intensely and lowered my head.

He put his fingers under my chin and made me look up into his beautiful eyes. "Hey, I'll never hate you. I always loved you. And I am so glad that you're my soulmate." he said with little smile adorning his face.

A stray happy tear fell from my eye and as I laughed and he rubbed it away. "I love you too!" I exclaimed and hugged his tightly almost leaping into his arms as I heard him laugh and hug me back soothingly patting my back.

"I'm so happy I found you." he said.

"I'm so happy you found me." I said.
