Jabir: Sir, we're here at last

Mashkur: why do you call for us?

Evan: Yes. Is it about the recent battle against the Orochi?

Admiral Kenneth nodded his head

Jabir: Did we do badly? Even though we won in the end, is our performance not up to your standard?

Jabir asked Admiral Kenneth, confused as to why he would bring this up again after some time has passed

Kenneth: Don't worry you three, you all did well

Admiral Kenneth replied, making us smile

Kenneth: In fact, the reason why i called you three here is to inform you that you three will be receiving another medal due to your performance during the battle along with your medals that shows you three were involved in the battle

Admiral Kenneth added in, making us gasp in happiness

Mashkur: another medal huh?

Mashkur remarked while chuckling

Jabir: it seems so

Kenneth: And Evan

Admiral Kenneth turned his attention to me, making me do the Space Battleship Yamato themed salute since all of us are in our respective Task Force Zero Fire coats

Evan: yes sir

i acknowledged after Admiral Kenneth turned his attention to me

Kenneth: i have been thinking for awhile and have finally decided to nominate you for a position as Fleet Admiral

Admiral Kenneth said, making my eyes widen in surprise

Evan: Fleet Admiral?

Jabir: isn't that like a special rank where only a select few are able to obtain?

Mashkur: Comrade Evan is getting promoted again?

Kenneth: yes

Admiral Kenneth replied before turning back to me

Evan: why me?

i asked, unsure if i even deserve such a special rank

Kenneth: you fought valiantly against Royston, managing to defeat him and secure the waters of the Pacific. Not to mention, the most damage dealt to the siren fleet is made by your fleet

Admiral Kenneth said, making me speechless. i looked at Jabir and Mashkur who both shrugged, giving me looks saying "this is your problem, not ours" before i looked back at Admiral Kenneth

Kenneth: so what's your response Evan?

Evan: i need some time to think about this

i replied, making Admiral Kenneth nod his head in understanding

Kenneth: i understand. This is probably overwhelming for you so I'll give you some time to think about it. Until HQ approves of my nomination of you and you either accept or decline the position, you'll be known as a Fleet Admiral Candidate

Evan: one question sir. is Royston confirmed dead?

Kenneth: unfortunately, we cannot find his body. But we presumed he's dead

Admiral Kenneth replied. However i knew better. Knowing the Squashed Centipede probably cheated his death or something , i pretended to accept the fact that Royston is dead

Enterprise: Admiral Kenneth nominating you for the position as a Fleet Admiral doesn't mean that HQ will accept it eventually

Enterprise tried to reassure me as she, Illustrious and i walked through the hallways of my base after we disembarked from Big One after using it to go back to my base from Admiral Kenneth's base

Illustrious: even if HQ approves, you can still decline it Evan sama

Enterprise: So what is your choice Evan? Do you accept it or no?

Evan: I'm still thinking about it

i said, making Enterprise and Illustrious nod in understanding

Illustrious: take your time Evan sama

Illustrious said while giving me her signature smile

as we made our way to the mess hall, i noticed a portal down a hallway and i approached it

Enterprise: Evan?

Enterprise called for me as i approached the portal

Evan: Did you hear that?

Illustrious: Hear what? We heard nothing Evan sama

Enterprise: Also did you create that portal?

Enterprise asked as she looked at the portal

Evan: Strange. i heard voices coming from the portal and no, i didn't create this portal

Enterprise: i suggest we report this to HQ and stay away from it until it disappears

Enterprise suggested and i nodded before stepping away from the portal. Suddenly, the portal became a vacuum and tried to suck me in

Enterprise: Evan!!!

Enterprise shrieked as she and Illustrious grabbed onto my arms to stop me from being sucked into the portal

Illustrious: we got you Evan sama!!

Illustrious exclaimed as she and Enterprise tried to pull me back. Unfortunately, the vacuum was too strong and I was sucked into the portal.

i landed on what looks like a patch of grass with a thud, with a red haired woman wearing some sort of medieval armour looking at me
