*Evan POV

That night, I woke up from a few hours of sleep due to my anxiety about Eleanor's condition. Lexington, Glorious and Valiant were asleep on their respective seats with Lexington resting her head on my shoulder. The hallways were quiet and empty, just like the setting of a horror movie.

Evan (thoughts): I should get some sleep

I took one last look at the Emergency Room that Eleanor is in before looking down on my bridge coat and tried to sleep, unaware of a white glow from somewhere nearby

??? 1: Where are we?

??? 2: Looks like we're in some sort of hospital

I heard two familiar voices as I was dozing off

Evan: Must be my imagination

I shrugged it off and continued trying to doze off

??? 2: Noire san there he is! Evan!!

I heard my name being called and turned towards the source. my vision is blurry but i can make out two girls, one with light purple hair and the other with black hair, approaching me

Evan (thoughts): masaka

I recognised the two girls and rubbed my eyes and knocked my head a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Once I'm sure that I'm not dreaming, I woke up Lexington by shaking her up

Lexington: mmm

as Lexington was busy getting up, I stood up and wore my white peaked cap

Evan: Gear? Noire?

I asked in surprise as the two girls stopped in front of us

Nepgear: Yes. Sorry for being late

Noire: When we heard of what happened lately, we came as fast as we can

Nepgear: Where's Eleanor?

I turned around and pointed to the emergency room

Evan: In there

Lexington: The doctors that came out all said that they haven't finished assessing Eleanor's injuries

Nepgear: Oh dear

Noire: Then where's Victoria and the rest? I'd figured they might be here

Glorious: We've sent them back for the day. they're probably in Vale Port by now

Glorious replied after she and Valiant woke up to see what the commotion is about

Evan: If there's nothing else, I need to get back to sleep as it is still early in the morning

Lexington: Yes. We need all the strength we can get

Noire: I see. Then Nepgear and I will keep watch

Evan: You two aren't going to sleep?

Nepgear: It's still the afternoon when we left Gamindustri

Evan: Very well then. You two will keep watch. However, if you feel tired, don't hesitate to rest

Evan: The toilets are that way and a little further out, there's a vending machine that sells drinks

I pointed to the right before heading back to my seat with Lexington, Glorious and Valiant heading back to theirs as well

I sat down on my seat and took out some lien from my bridge coat

Noire and Nepgear took the lien and looked at them

Evan: Use those to buy drinks from the vending machine. If there's nothing else then, goodnight

I took off my white peaked cap and tried to fall asleep

Evan: Gear, Noire. I have a proposal for both of you

Noire: What is it?

Evan: Do you two want to be guardians of Eleanor, Clementine and Victoria?

Nepgear and Noire looked down for a moment before looking up again

I gave them another chance to decline. However their option remains the same

Nepgear: I don't mind Evan. I'm actually quite excited to be an aunt

We went back inside the hospital bay of my base and saw Lexington, Valiant and Glorious carrying a baby Eleanor, a baby Clementine and a baby Victoria respectively

*The next day

???: Evan wake up

I felt my body being shaken and I opened my eyes to see Lexington shaking me awake

Lexington: Good morning Evan

Evan: Good morning Lexington

I stood up and put on my white peaked cap as Lexington went to wake up Glorious and Valiant

Evan: Where did Noire go?

I asked Nepgear who was listening to music with her N-Gear

Nepgear: She went to go buy breakfast

Evan: I see

Nepgear: By the way Evan

Nepgear took off her headphones and walked up towards me

Nepgear: I forgot about it yesterday but Histoire asked me to deliver this to you

Nepgear pulled out an envelope with Planeptune's symbol on it from her sailor suit and gave it to me

Evan: Did she?

I took the envelope and gently tore it open as i don't have an envelope cutter or any other tool on me

How are you faring over there? I hope you are still doing well as even I don't know this Remnant world very well. Nepgear and Noire have been requesting me to open the Rainbow Bifrost so that they can come to you and help you out. Now that they're with you, please take care of them and send them back as soon as possible once you've left this Remnant world with your fleet as without them, the shares of Planeptune and Lastation will slowly drop. I'm sorry about what happened to Eleanor. The others back in Gamindustri are with you so remain strong

as if on cue, Noire came back with paper bags containing food

Glorious: Breakfast is here

Valiant: Finally I'm starving

Noire: Let me put these down first

Noire placed the paper bags on empty seats before turning to me and Nepgear

Noire: I take that you've already read the letter from Histoire, Evan

Evan: Yes. What did Rom and Ram send me?

Noire held out her hand and a box with Lowee's symbol on it materializes out of thin air

Noire: Open and see

Noire placed the box down and invited me to open it

Valiant: What's going on?

Valiant asked as she took a bite from her sandwich

Glorious: It seems that Evan got a package from Lowee

Lexington: What's in it Evan?

Evan: I don't know. Only one way to find out

I opened the lid of the box and saw two items

Valiant: What? What is it?!

inside the box lay Rom and Ram's weapons, along with a small note

We wanted to come with Miss Nepgear and Miss Noire. However, big sis won't let us as it is too dangerous so we decided to send you our weapons to help you out as you can do magic like us. Beat those Atlas dummies that hurt Eleanor for us. Don't worry, we have extras so keep our weapons in the box and use them to beat those Atlas Dummies for us

Nepgear picked up Rom and Ram's weapons from the box and handed them in front of me

Before I could answer, the doors to the emergency room opened and a doctor stepped out

Doctor: Are any of you relatives of Eleanor?

Evan: I'm her father. How is my daughter doing?

The doctor shook his head and I instantly prepared for the worst

Doctor: Your daughter has suffered several concussions and her brain is damaged. In addition, her ribcage is cracked and she is in a deep coma

Evan: No...

Lexington began to cry and I hugged her

Doctor: Whatever the Atlasian military did to her. It's horrible
