*Evan POV

After we have our breakfast our dorm room, we had a quick bathroom break before we left our dorm to go to our first class of the day

Glorious: What's our first class for today, Evan?

Glorious asked me as I pulled out my scroll

Evan: Combat Class

Noire: So Goodwitch again

Noire remarked and I nodded

Evan: Yes. Glynda Goodwitch

Valiant: Let's hurry. Otherwise we'll become training dummies for the class

Valiant said and we hurried to the combat arena

Glynda: You're just in the nick of time Team EVGL

Glynda replied, making us sigh in relief

Glynda: Just in time for our field trip

Glynda added in causing us to be surprised

Evan: Field Trip?

*Timeskip

We arrived at a forest full of autumn leaves where Glynda dropped us off before we gathered around her

Glynda: Yes students. The forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. However, we're not here to sight see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples of the trees deep inside this forest and I'm here to make sure that none of you die during this mission. Each of you is to gather one jars worth of sap. However, this forest is full of creatures of the grimm so please stay close to your teammates. We will rendezvous back here by 4 o'clock. Have fun.

Glynda briefed us before sending us to collect jars of red sap from the trees

Evan: So it's a mission

Glorious: Looks like it

Valiant: Fun fact, we're the only ones still wearing our Beacon Uniforms

Valiant pointed out and we looked around. Sure enough, we're the only ones still wearing our Beacon Uniforms

Evan: That's good to know I guess

I remarked while Valiant brushed her twintails

*Timeskip

We walked for an hour or so until we reached what looks like a pond of some sort

Glorious: Thirsty anyone?

Glorious asked as she dipped her hand into the pond and drank it

Valiant: a little water break won't hurt

Valiant said as she did the same as Glorious

Evan: Be careful. The water is still unclean

I warned my team before drinking a small amount from the pond

Noire: What Evan says. We might get sick if we drink too much of this water

Noire added in before she and Nepgear drank some as well

After the water break, we continued searching for red sap for a few more hours until we spotted some peculiar looking trees

Valiant: Is that it?

Valiant asked as she ran forward and touched one of the trees

Evan: Looks like it. Come on, let's fill our jars

Noire: Allow me

Noire summoned her rapier and cuts the bark of the tree, making the tree drip red sap

Evan: Good job Noire

I complimented her before filling our jars with red sap from the trees. Once we're done, we screwed the caps back on

Valiant: We still have a lot of time left. What should we do now?

Valiant asked as she laid down on the ground and did a snow angel on the fallen leaves before getting back up and dusting the leaves off of her Beacon Uniform

Evan: Guess we'll explore the forest then. Glynda didn't say anything about not being allowed to explore after collecting the red sap

Noire: Evan does have a point. Plus I wanted to enjoy the scenery of this forest

Glorious: then it is settled. You lead the way Evan

We started exploring the forest to kill time. Along the way, we encountered another pond and we sat on the ground to enjoy the nature

Lexington: Hey Evan. Why don't we swim in this pond? If we do that, we'll have a free bath

Lexington proposed. However, I rejected her proposal

Evan: Lexington. We don't have a towel or any spare set of dry clothes. If we took a dip into the water, we'll get wet with no way to dry ourselves

Lexington: Right

Nepgear: It sure is nice here

Evan: I agree with you Gear

We continued enjoying the nature until we heard an ursa roar some distance away

Nepgear: What was that?

Noire: Grimm?

Before I could say anything, I saw two guys from Team CRDL running for their lives from the trees

Evan: Only one way to find out. Team EVGL Kinkyuu Shutsujou!

We got up and brushed the leaves off of our pants/skirts of our Beacon Uniforms before summoning our weapons/ riggings

*Third person POV

Somewhere else ursa sniffed the ground in front of jaune before turning around and looked at Cardin who was showing the face of fear he tried to grab his weapon. However, the ursa knocked the weapon out of his hands before Cardin closed his eyes, embracing death. Just as the ursa swung it's claw at Cardin, there was a clash of metal and jaune stood in front of Cardin blocking the ursa's claw with his shield. Cardin opened his eyes after a while and saw jaune protecting him from the ursa. a few minutes later, Pyrrha, Ruby and Weiss arrived at the scene and watches the fight unfold

Jaune takes his shield out of the ursa's paw and lashes it at its stomach, causing it to lash out and attack him. He rolls out of the way and jumps over to swipe at its feet. But the ursa launches its claw at him midair, sending him far away. Jaune immediately goes back to his feet and charges again. He tries a leaping attack but the ursa knocks him backwards. Looking at his scroll hidden in his shield, Jaunes notices that his aura is red. feeling frustrated, Jaune starts to run at the ursa as it also begins to run towards him. Pyrrha was about use her semblance when an Arcane blast came out of nowhere and hit the grimm

Everyone looks at where the blast came from and saw Team EVGL with their weapons/riggings out

Evan: Looks like we came in the nick of time

Evan said as he and his team walked into the scene

Jaune: Thank you Admiral Evan Sir

*timeskip

*Evan POV

Evan: Cheers!

We knocked our glasses with each other's as we celebrated completing our first week at Beacon that night at a restaurant

Glorious: our first week in beacon is over

Valiant: and tomorrows the start the weekend

Glorious and Valiant exclaimed as they drank their juice

Evan: Yes. That is correct. We're going back to Vale Port

I announced before taking a sip of my juice. We celebrated until it was late and we headed back to Vale Port

*Valiant and Lexington appeared out of nowhere and joined in*

Noire: Don't forget about us baka!

*Noire and Nepgear appeared and joined in*

Evan: Calm down girls *gets dragged away*

Emanuele: Satellite communication radar is operational. Gravity brake is operational. All weapons systems are operational

Janus: Magnetic barrier system is operational

Emanuele: Energy is rising. Boiler pressure is at 120%. 0.2 seconds until it reaches full power

Evan: Connect main circuits

Emanuele: Connected! System all green!

Evan: Big 1 Hasshin!

Big 1 whistles as its wheels turn before moving and subsequently take off. Meanwhile, a green line emerges from the Planet of Remnant before going off screen. a few seconds later, Big 1 appears and flies into the screen and the outskirts of space as I brought Big 1 out for a test run

Evan: Carry the light!/The Galaxy Railways will go on!
