*Evan POV

The next day, I was woken up by the alarm clock in our dorm room and got up while trying not to wake up Valiant sleeping beside me. The results of the lots are Valiant, Noire, Glorious, Lexington, Nepgear. I grabbed my Beacon Uniform and went to the bathroom to shower. I changed into my Beacon Uniform after showering and left the bathroom to see that everyone else is awake and preparing their beds

Glorious: Good morning Evan

Glorious greeted me once I left the bathroom

Evan: Morning everyone

Valiant: I did your bed already so no need to do it again

Valiant said to me and I nodded

Evan: I can see that. Anyways let's have breakfast

*Timeskip

After breakfast and the girls' shower, we went out of our dorm and locked the door behind us

Noire: so what's our first lesson of the day

Noire asked as I locked the doors to our dorm

Glorious: Grimm studies by this Professor Port at lecture room B5

Glorious replied just as I finished locking the door

Evan: let's go

I said and we went to the lecture room guided by our scrolls. we reached the lecture room where we saw no one, only the professor

Port: ah you're here. Team EVGL is it?

Professor Port asked us as we stepped into the lecture theatre

Evan: Yes we are

I replied as we sat together in an area of the lecture theatre

Port: The ones from the navy. I'm sure you've fought some grimm on the sea, correct?

Professor Port asked us and we nodded

Glorious: yes. Back in the past before Atlas started harassing us

Port: Speaking of Atlas, how's Eleanor? Is she doing well?

Professor Port asked me and I nodded my head

Evan: Yes. She can take care of herself now

Port: That's good to hear

Professor Port replied before other students began filing in, except for Team RWBY

Evan (thoughts) : yep Ruby and her team are still incompetent

I thought as port took attendance before starting the lesson. Halfway through the lesson, Ruby and her team barged into the class exhausted and out of breath

Port: Team RWBY. You're late

Professor Port informed them and they nodded

Ruby: sorry sir

Ruby apologised before the four of them went to their seats

Port: prowlers of the night! The creatures of the grimm have many names but i like to refer to them as prey.

Professor Port laughed, expecting a reaction from the class but no one said anything. Professor port rambled on as the class became inattentive. Some of the students even fell asleep. The others and I were trying to stay awake to listen to the lecture while Valiant fell asleep. Even Noire is trying to stay awake to listen

Port: me when I was a boy, despite smelling of cabbages. My grandfather was a wise man. Peter... he told me once

I then noticed Jaune looking at me when a "you okay?" expression and I mouthed out the word "boring" back to him before resting my head on my desk for a moment to say that I'm extremely bored at this so called lesson

Port: In the end, the beowulf was no match for my sheer tendency and I defeated it, captured it and went back to my village, celebrated as a hero

Professor Port finished his story and bows his head

Port: Morale of the story, a true huntsman or huntress should be honourable. A true huntsman or huntress must be strategic, dependent, wise and well educated. So who thinks that they embodiment these traits?

Professor Port asked the audience and Weiss and Noire's hand shot up

Weiss I do sir

Noire: Me

Port: Very well you two. let' see if you have these tendencies to face your opponent. you first

Professor Port points at Weiss before turning his attention to two cages

Evan: Grimm?

Port: Now step forward and face your opponent! you may go and change and grab your weapon Weiss

Professor Port instructed

Weiss: gladly

*Noire POV

I watched as that Weiss girl tried to defeat the Grimm and failing

Noire (thought): How sloppy

I thought as I continued watching Weiss trying to take down the Grimm. Eventually Weiss managed to take down the Grimm and she walked off again to change.

Port: now that's that. Now then, we have a special guest from the navy who will show us how the navy deals with the Grimm. Noire, you can now step forward and face your opponent. go change and get your weapon

The professor instructed me and I dashed off to the changing room to change into my clear dress before going back to the classroom. The professor opened the cage and the grimm dashed towards me. However I dodged and summoned my rapier

Noire: Tornado Sword!

I swung my rapier around and finished of the grimm with one hit

Port: Talk about crazy! Noire has finished off the grimm with one swift strike! as expected from the navy!

The professor narrated as I left to change back in my Beacon Uniform

*Third Person POV

Evan: It's not crazy. It's the experts of the Navy

Evan remarked as Weiss scoffed

Weiss: Hmph. Show off.

*Evan POV

After the lesson. we went outside the classroom where we slowly made our way to our next class

Valiant: That was the most boring lesson I have ever attended

Valiant remarked as we stepped out of the lecture theatre

Evan: To be honest, I agree with you

Noire: I almost fell asleep listening to the old man talking about his personal life

Glorious: At least his lesson is over

Evan: Yeah. Let's go to our next lesson. Stealth and Security

I said as I led my team to our next lesson

Evan: First chapter for 2023. Also some hints on the new idea I was talking about. Some of the names start with "s" and "k" and another airship will be featured.
