*Third person POV

Outside of a certain Emergency Room, Team EVGL was sleeping on the seats located in the corridor. However, Evan was missing from the group currently. Lexington woke up after being unable to sleep due to nightmares of Eleanor dying in the emergency room and noticed Evan missing

Lexington: Girls! Evan is missing!

Lexington shook Glorious and Valiant up before explaining what happened

Glorious: I'll try to contact him on his scroll

Glorious scrolled through the contact list on her scroll before spotting Evan's name among the list

Valiant: if he doesn't pick up. Try his AzurPhone

Glorious tapped Evan's name just as a familiar voice spoke to them

???: no need to call me. I'm right here

The three shipgirls looked up and saw Evan approaching them. Mir was on his shoulder as usual

Evan

A Fleet Admiral of the Azur Lane Headquarters

Evan is wearing his standard black Azur Lane bridge coat that covers his entire body, from his shoulders to his calves. His rank insignia is located on his shoulder

Lexington: Where have you been?

Evan: Decided to take a small stroll around as I can't sleep

Glorious: Evan. We already lost Eleanor

Valiant: We don't want to lose you too

Lexington: Next time you leave, let us know

Evan: Okay

Glorious: Since there's still time left, how about we get some sleep

Valiant: Alright

Lexington: Evan. Since you can't sleep, do you want to rest your head on one of our laps?

Glorious: Yes. There's no need to be embarrassed about it

Valiant: After all, you're married to the three of us so consider this as a way to strengthen our bonds

Evan: No thanks I'm fine

Lexington: Very well then. If you change your mind, let us know

The four of them proceeded to get some sleep

*Evan POV

I woke up with my head resting on something warm, soft and muscular

Evan: What is this I'm resting on?

Lexington: good morning Evan

Lexington's voice made me jump a little and I turned to see Lexington looking down on me?

Evan: Lexington, how are you up there? Where am I?

Lexington: You're on my lap of course. I hope you enjoyed your sleep

Lexington giggled and I realized that the black surface my head is resting on is Lexington's stockings

Evan: Gah!

I instantly shot up as Lexington giggled

Lexington: Glorious and Valiant are away buying breakfast for us so it's just the two of us for now

Lexington added in as she stood up

Lexington: I need to pee so I'll be using the ladies

Lexington went towards the direction of the toilets where she turned toward the ladies side, leaving me all alone

Mir: Master. About those people at the docks last night. Who do you think they are?

Mir flew towards my shoulder as I removed Lexington's white coat off of me

Evan: I don't know Mir

*Flashback

*Abandoned port in Vale

orange haired man: Hurry up you animals! we haven't got all day

In the early hours of the morning, an orange haired man got out of the bullhead and ordered some people wearing masks to speed up carrying some crates and boxes around. Wearing a hood, Mir and I hid behind some crates and boxes as I used my scroll to record the whole thing. After being satisfied with what I recorded, I teleported out of there with Mir

Evan: But either way, those people are up to no good and I'm guessing that orange haired man is some sort of leader

Mir: Should we tell someone about this or should we investigate this on our own?

Evan: Of course we're telling someone. The others back at Vale Port need to be alert for such suspicious parties so that our production ships won't risk getting sabotaged. And even though I'm a little angry at him for not starting the briefing earlier so that we have the upper hand in rescuing Eleanor, I think Ozpin deserves to know about this as this is his kingdom

Mir: You do have a point master

I took out my scroll and began to send Ozpin the video I took of those shady people. As i was typing my message, Lexington came back from her pee break

Lexington: I feel much better now. I hope I didn't keep you waiting

Evan: Nope you didn't. Actually, there's something that I would like to show you. Let's wait for Glorious and Valiant to come back first

Lexington: okay then

a few minutes after Lexington said that, Glorious and Valiant came back with paper bags full of food

Glorious: Good morning Evan

Evan: They're back. Great. Let's start this meeting

I ushered Glorious and Valiant to come closer to me and Lexington so that I can show them the video of those shady people.

Evan: Sorry to interrupt your breakfast but last night, while I was out strolling, I came across an abandoned port in Vale. inside this abandoned port, these shady groups are doing something really fishy

I said as I played the video for Glorious, Lexington and Valiant to see

Glorious: what's inside those crates and boxes

Evan: I have no idea but it's probably not good

Valiant: We must inform the others back at Vale Port

Evan: I'm working on it. For now let's enjoy our breakfast

After breakfast, I sent the video to Enterprise via the port's scroll and Thea through her scroll, instructing them to be alert and for the former's case, inform the fleet to be on high alert

Evan: Done. The fleet is on high alert now.

Glorious, Valiant and Lexington finished their breakfast and threw their trash away

Glorious: What do we do now Evan?

Glorious asked as she drank from her water bottle

Evan: We wait for any news about Eleanor's condition for now

We waited for any news about Eleanor's condition while talking about random things until lunch time

Glorious: Are you still going to wear your Bridge Coat Evan?

Evan: Yes. After all, it's the standard black Azur Lane bridge coat which i never got to wear very often due to the hot climate in the Pacific

Glorious: If that's what makes you happy, then I won't stop you Evan

Evan (thoughts): Reminds me of all those Task Force Zero Fire meetups back at HQ in New York

I thought as I looked down on my bridge coat

While we were having lunch, the TV nearby was broadcasting news

news reporter: out of nowhere, Atlas Forces invaded this faunus village. The reason why Atlas did this is unknown. General Ironwood has denied involvement in this attack even though Atlas forces clearly were attacking the village, including the Ace Operatives

Upon hearing this news, I slammed my table in anger

Evan: That accursed Shitwood. Attacking villages for no reason and then denying involvement

Glorious: Glad we didn't give Atlas some of our technology

Valiant: So those Ace Operative peasants are still alive huh?

Lexington: The next time I see them, they won't be getting out alive

news reporter: speaking of faunuses, there have been a series of white fang attacks on multiple streets in mistral and vacuo

Glorious: Evan! Those people...

Evan: Are wearing the same masks from the video I took!!

News Reporter: These attacks have caused moderate damage to property and caused a few deaths. With no Schnee Dust Company mines anywhere, the question has arose. Are the White Fang becoming terrorists?

We said nothing as we continue listening to the news

News Reporter: That's all people. Thanks for joining us today. This is Lisa Lavender signing off

After the camera zooms out of the news reporter, Lisa Lavender, the news ends. we stared at the TV screen for a few moments, processing all this new info

Evan: Glorious, Valiant, Lexington. We better get ready cause I got the feeling that we'll be facing two enemies this time round

I told Glorious, Lexington and Valiant after realizing that we're fighting a two front battle this time round

*Evan POV

I woke up that night due to anxiety about Eleanor's condition. Looking around, the corridor is empty and quiet like out of a horror movie and Glorious, Valiant and Lexington were still asleep, with Lexington laying her head on my shoulder. I looked at the Emergency Room which still has its light on, wondering how the doctors are doing and if Eleanor is able to make it. i looked back down on my bridge coat and closed my eyes, trying to sleep, not noticing a glow somewhere nearby

??? 1: Where are we?

??? 2: It looks like we're in some sort of hospital

I opened my eyes after hearing two familiar voices

Evan (thoughts): must be my imagination.

I then closed my eyes again and tried to get some sleep

??? 2: Noire san there he is! Evan!!

I opened my eyes again after hearing my name being called. I looked at the source and saw two familiar faces running towards me

Evan (thoughts): masaka

I rubbed my eyes and knocked my head a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. After I'm sure I'm not dreaming, I nudged Lexington awake before getting up and putting on my white peaked cap

Evan: Gear? Noire?
