Part 9

The Heaven Discovery Centre was known for its useful ideas that governed the usage of Blutonium. HDC were also convinced on the existence of Blue Orbs. According to them, Blue Orbs were a higher version of Blutonium, or even more. They believed that Blutonium may be a by-product of Blue Orbs, although many scientists testified against this belief as the possibility of Blue Orbs were not confirmed. But the HDC weren't concerned if Blutonium is or isn't a by-product of Blue Orbs. They were mainly worrying their heads off on the origin of these two substances. The other elements in the periodic table all had their origins found or formulated, but Blutonium was different. Many scientists began to doubt if Medeleev's predictions on his table were true at all. Although some proved that Blutonium isn't part of our elements, the big question was were did these substances come from, and how did the founding fathers of Heaven utilized these resources. Therefore, Blutonium was nicknamed the Foreign Metal.
Richard was in charge of this centre, as well as all the other businesses his father left behind. Five days had passed, revealing the demon in Richard. After his father's death and my sudden disappearance, Richard was no longer the friendly person everyone knew. His heart was broken, torn apart, and his anger increased everyday, and he was always in a bad mood, growling over little issues. He had gone to several martial art classes, learning from various teachers. Although this took up most of his schedule, he didn't mind, as long as this was to prepare him for his quest for vengeance against his father and brothers' death. Richard would have sleepless nights, which would cause him to get up and train by himself, remembering all what his various masters had said. Being so eager and desperate for revenge, he mastered every skill, which impressed all his teachers.
One day came when Richard walked on the busy streets of Heaven, wearing a hood and listening to a sad song written by a well known artist called Kongo Kara. Ever since he lost me, not a day passed would he not play that song. Then suddenly, as he left the busy road and was walking close to a restaurant, he bumped into a lady who was leaving the restaurant. Immediately he growled as her coffee slipped on his clothes. He was about to bark and rebuke her when he steered at this wonderful beauty. She wasn't looking at him, as she had her eyes fixed on his stained clothes.
" I'm terribly sorry sir", she said as she looked at Richard.
Richard almost didn't reply. He was hypnotized by the beautiful face he saw," I... Umm... Don't worry. Its nothing".
" But I ruined your beautiful clothes!".
" Don't worry. Its nothing", he replied, repeating his last words.
" Are you sure? You aren't angry with me?".
" Yes I'm sure".
" Ok. I'll be going then".
" Ok. Umm, may I know your name?".
She smiled at him and replied," I'm Lucy Johnson. Its nice to meet you". She then stretched forth her right hand to shake Richard.
He shook her hand and replied," I'm Richard Stephens. Sorry to ask, but may I have your number?".
She giggled and replied," Yes you may".
She gave him her phone number and then parted away from him. Richard looked at her for a few seconds, still recalling her name, Lucy Johnson. His spirit was in high hopes of a relationship that may come. From that day on, Richard converted back to the friendly neighbour of his workers, and peace finally reigned in HDC.
However, Phil on the otherhand was still disturbed about my whereabouts, Richard's phone, and the Blue Orbs he promised the government he would find. The government were beginning to doubt the existence of Blue Orbs and were also suspecting that Phil's hands weren't clean. Phil gave one useless excuse and another, trying to buy some time while he worked on covering his tracks. The phone was now his main problem, as he suspected that someone else had the phone and was trying to do something fishy. My whereabouts was his least concerns, although Richard was disturbing him about me. He didn't care whether I lived or died. His main concern was getting that phone back and finding the Blue Orbs, thus ending the Blue Myth, written by Morgan Franklin, a scientist.
A strange day came when he was called by one of the policemen to report to the station. Surprised and looking pale, he honoured the invitation and sat with the cop in an interrogation room. The cop sat down in front of him, and after looking at his documents, said.
" Nice records you've got".
" Did you called me to sing praises or for something else important?", Phil asked, looking pissed.
" Don't mind me sir. Just wanna ask you a question".
" Which is?".
" Who's the girl you talked about when you sent Richard a message?".
Phil breathed hard as he realised that this cop had the phone. No one needed to tell him that. He had no choice but to submit himself to the questions that'll follow after he answered the cop's question.
