A Black SUV hover car speeded out of Pete's domain. A man dressed in a black suit with a white inner shirt and a black tie was the driver. Pete sat in the passenger's seat while Eve and I sat in the back seat. Everyone, except the driver, wore concerned looks on our faces, while the driver clearly remained expressionless and did as he was told.
     " Are you sure Me Li will listen to us?", asked Pete to Eve," She's one hell of a bitch if you ask me".
     " I pray she would, because with her on our side we can checkmate our survival", replied Eve.
     " And what about Fred?", I asked.
     " I'll have to inform him about the new plan".
     Eve pulled out her phone from her pocket and phoned Fred. The latter received the call as he was coming out from the destroyed lair with the bazooka.
     " Eve! Anything new?", asked Fred.
     " Change of plans Fred", replied Eve.
     " Meaning?".
     " We're going to save San Francisco".
     " And how are we going to do that?".
     " We've got Pete with us. We're going to talk to Me Li".
     Fred stopped walking," Me Li?".
     " Yes Fred. Looks like she's leading the protest. Haven't heard about the president yet".
     " He's probably dead. I'm sure of that".
     " Forget that for the moment. Get to the Fresh Mary's Fountain immediately".
     " Okay Eve. Roger that".
     Eve cut the call and put the phone in her pocket. Fred put his in his pocket and half walked, half ran to the Fresh Mary's Fountain.

     At the Fresh Mary's Fountain, chants of praises were sang to Me Li as she stood on top of a truck. She held her A-5 Steel Ray pistol in her right hand and smiled at the crowd who were sick of Heaven and had decided to join Me Li.
     " Citizens of San Francisco!", exclaimed Me Li," Have we done Heaven any wrong?".
     " No!", yelled the crowd.
     " Have we treated them like nothing?".
     " No!".
     " Have we stolen anything from them?".
     " No!".
     " Must we die because of some blutonium?".
     " No!".
     " I can see people who doesn't want to be wiped off the face of the earth. Our so-called president brought death to our very doors, so I made sure that he saw his death before Heaven comes".
     Cheers erupted from the crowd. They chanted," Down with the president", four times and then became quiet so that Me Li could continue.
     " We must arm ourselves with any weapons available and must defend San Francisco to our last breath. I am not ready to witness my people die without defending them. As long as there's a reminant of strength left in me, I'll make sure that we will live, and strive to become a great nation. We must prevail! We must triumph! We must win this victory!".
     The crowd yelled out their willingness to survive and their full support. Chants of praises were again repeated admist the group. Me Li smiled at them again but then noticed a black SUV hover car parking behind the crowd. Out came a man with two women who were trying to force their way towards the crowd to meet her. It was one of the women however that captured her attention. While the women were somehow succeeding in getting pass the crowd, the man was failing to do the same.
     Me Li jumped down from the truck and onto the floor. The crowd still cheered and sang praises to her, but they were no longer her concern. As she walked, the crowd gave her some space, which finally brought her to the two women.
     Both women stopped and looked at her. One was dressed in a long sleeved yellow-black shirt and blue jeans while the other seemed to be wearing a purple sniper suit and a brown jacket.
     " Hello Me Li", said the woman with the yellow-black shirt," My name is Eve. There's something that I have to...".
     Me Li walked passed her without saying anything to Eve. Pete managed to get to the free space of the crowd, stood there and observed what was going on. She walked up to the other woman, which was me, and stared at her. She even used her right hand to turn my face to the right and left, so as to get a good view of me. Finally, she smelt my face with her eyes closed. Her eyes suddenly opened wide and she sprang away from me as though I was a monster. Immediately her gun was pointed at me, while Eve jumped between us and blocked her view. Pete wanted to help also, but he was held back by the men standing behind him who felt we were suspects.
     " Heaven!", yelled Me Li, which left the crowd in an uproar," They sent a spy among us!".
     " No!", protested Eve," She's no spy! She's here to help us!".
     " Lies!", shouted Me Li," Seize them!".
     Hands grabbed Eve and pulled her away from me. Hands also grabbed me too, but I broke free from them and pounced on the men and women holding her. Then came Me Li, striking me with her gun on the back of my head. I fell down to the floor, almost knocked out. Voices became sounds in my head. Everything I was seeing looked blurry. Then I heard Eve's scream again, which made me angry. I tried to get back to my feet, but again I was assaulted by Me Li's weapon, and this time, I fainted.
     Eve and Pete struggled to break free, but the hands that held them overpowered them and brought them to their knees. Me Li smirked and looked at my face. She spat on my face and pointed her gun at my head. Her fingers would have pulled the trigger had it not been for a watchguard standing on a tall building who yelled at her that a missile was heading towards San Francisco. Suddenly the earth shook as the missile hit a section of the wall and allowed Heaven's soldiers to invade the city. It was happening. The war, which the people of San Francisco wanted to cause, had begun.
