Richard sat on the large balcony of the mansion, looking ahead of the city and into the endless lands that stretched forth into the sky. The clear blue night shone brightly on the building and its beautiful surroundings, while he stole a look at the moon and sighed. He looked down at a holographic screen showing him a photo of him and me having fun on the bench. He swiped through several different photos of the same location and came to the one that was taken behind our backs as we walked down a wooden bridge. He stared at it for a while and closed his eyes as he recalled what happened that night.
     " It's so beautiful", I had remarked when observing the rushing waters that passed underneath the bridge," I've never had so much fun like this before".
     " Me too", teased Richard.
     " Liar", I replied immediately, knowing what he usually did whenever he travelled on holidays," You always had this much fun as a child and as a man".
     He had smiled and replied," True. But you've just made it very special".
     " Uhh, thank you", I said and planted a kiss on his lips. We stared at each other for a while, then kissed each other intimately until I stopped and rested my head on his chest while he held me in his arms.
     " I love you Richard", I confessed.
     " I love you too Nina", he replied as he brushed my hair with his right hand," No matter what other people think of you, you are still the person I'll love forever".
     " Me too my love", I said while letting a tear drop from my left eye," I don't want anything to separate us apart, not even fate".
     " I wish the same my dear. Life has been hard for us, but nobody will rob you from me. I won't even let them try".
     " I know you won't, because you were always there for me, especially when things were hard on us".
     " That's why I'm here Nina. Don't you believe in soul mates?".
     " Why won't I Richard? You came into my life as an angel, and you'll leave as my lover when death takes you away".
     " That's my girl. Sounds like you're already proposing instead of me".
     " I'm not proposing yet", I giggled," A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do".
     " I will dear. I promise you".
     " I know you will Richard. You always fulfill your promises to the end".
     " Then let me promise you this. As long as I have a breath in me, I won't rest until I protect you from all harm".
     " Thank you Richard", I said and looked up at his face. We closed the gap between our lips and felt the cool breeze coming from the East.
     Richard opened his eyes and looked at the horizon. He stood up and turned off the device projecting the images while still staring at the unknown. He breathed in the air round him with a sense of calmness and later expressed a serious look on his face.
     " I won't rest until I find you Nina, and once I do, all those sho oppressed you will be punished for all the troubles we've went through", concluded Richard.

     The metallic doors slid open as Serpent Barnes and Cheetah walked through it. Both of them wore their armours as if they were regular clothes and matched towards an office which had three turns before they would locate it. Cheetah had a canned beverage on one hand and a hamburger on the other. He ate while walking and stole lustful looks at every woman that passed him by. Barnes on the other had eaten earlier and was only concentrated on meeting Aldor.
     " Aren't we gonna chat on something?", asked Cheetah over a mouthful of food.
     " I don't talk to animals", replied Barnes coldly.
     Cheetah grumbled and immediately finished the food he was eating before asking," Now can we talk?".
     " Yes we can".
     Noting his reply, he frowned and folded his arms," Hmph. I just wanna ask Mr. Table manners if he wanna discuss about the new girl".
     " Sarah Jordan? What about her?".
     " Isn't she hot?", he asked with a grinned face.
     " I knew you would ask me that. You really can't take your eyes off women for a while Cheetah".
     " Fine girls are always fine girls Barnes. You should get yourself one too"
     " In my next life. What we have on ground is far more important than chasing after girls".
     " Whatever, you workaholic. I just keep wondering what Aldor has been doing with her lately".
     " Adding modifications to her. We are yet to see what she has become though, but we're going to see anyway".
     They arrived at a metallic door which gave way for them as Cheetah placed his right hand on a scanning device inscribed in the wall. They walked in and saw Aldor standing in front of a black pod glowing with purple energy. A holographic screen displayed the statue of the occupant from abnormality to perfection.
     " Beautiful, isn't it?", asked Aldor as he fixed his eyes on the pod. He wore a lab coat that covered his blue collared shirt. He also wore a brown pair of trousers with a pair of black metallic shoes.
     " You mean Navada?", asked Cheetah.
     " Who else", replied Aldor as he turned to face them," I've done my best to equip her with the best of the very best. At first, the new intake of Blutonium made her behave abnormal, but once we finally stabilized her, she is now a masterpiece".
     The light in the pod diminished as the occupant travelled down into a training area through a shaft below it. The occupant was hiddened behind a cylindrical tinted glass and hovered into the centre of the room. Smoke poured out as the glass disassembled to reveal me, wearing a grey, black and purple armour with a sniper rifle at the back and two blasters in their bolsters on both sides.
     " Her code name is the Mysterious Killer", grinned Aldor.
     " Mysterious?", asked Cheetah," What exactly do you mean by that?".
     " Watch and learn Nine", replied Aldor with a smile.
     Before Cheetah knew what was going on, various levels of drones, robotic soldiers and Mechs, and war machines with blasters and plasma-like lasers came out from designated areas and launched out heavy attacks that could destroy any machine within seconds. After the smoke cleared, I was found standing at one end of the building, looking at the enemy with my purple pupils.
     " How did she escaped that?", asked Cheetah with an inquisitive look.
     " Space-time teleportation", explained Serpent Barnes," She quickly pinpointed her jump point and teleported before they attacked".
     " Indeed", confirmed Aldor," The jump point is limitless as long as she can see where to teleport to. So in this battle, this is her most prized tool".
     Indeed it was. My eyes picked up all the machines and defenses and calculated their numbers in less than a second. There were a hundred and ninety-four enemy units that needed to be destroyed. I brought out the snake knife behind my back and teleported in and out of their midst. The blade, modified by Aldor, glowed blue and permitted me to cut the machines into pieces. I also moved swiftly and dodged all of their attacks.
     " The machines calculate their shots for accurate timing. However, she's fast enough to escape their lethal attacks and strike them when they least expect it. Here comes the use of guns", explained Aldor.
     I sheathed my knife, brought out my blasters and opened fire while moving here and there in a frenzy. Most of them were terminated by my blasts while some were damaged beyond repair and later shut down. The remaining ones were ten drones that coincided defeat and made attempts to escape. As soon as I disappeared from the eyes of the audience, all ten robots were gunned down in succession by powerful shots. I reappeared after that with my sniper rifle at hand.
     " Invisibility?", asked Cheetah.
     " Yes, only for six seconds though. The powerful shots fired were from her rifle. I modified her lenses to have eagle eyesight for more than three kilometres. Her blasters adds one kilometre to her sight while her sniper rifle adds four kilometres with an even more accurate and precise shot. She also has various other functions that makes her the perfect mysterious killer. In other words, she is the only assassin that surpasses any other", explained Aldor," Now we have the perfect killer who will execute without failure".
     " So what's the plan?", Serpent Barnes asked as he looked at Aldor.
     " Give the leaders of Heaven decent accidents and Richard Stephens a tragic end".
