Liam and Alex stood outside of Jelonzo's bridal shop, where displays of weddings dresses stood behind the glass. Liam's face was bright red as he imagined himself in one of the elegant gowns.

"Alex I can't-" he started, but before he could finish, Alex was moving to whisper in his ear.

"Think about the pretty lingerie, and garter belt you could wear underneath it~" He cooed seductively and Liam felt his heart beat a little faster. He wanted to wear it. He wanted to walk down the aisle in a frilly dress. And he wanted Alex to ride it up over his waist...and...

Liam flinched out of his fantasy when he heard Alex start to chortle. "You moaned out loud Lamb~" Alex teased. Liam furrowed his brows and flared with embarrassment.

"Whatever! I'm still not gonna wear it! We can't really afford a dress like this anyway." He admitted with a hint of disappointment in his voice. Liam stared at his reflection from the glass. "I'll just be traditional and wear a suit, I can still wear lingerie under that anyway." Liam mumbled out the last part. Alex tsked "whatever you want."

Liam turned and looked at him dovelike, "...really?"

Alex smirked."Yeah, as long as we end up together in the end, it doesn't really matter. Right?"

Liam sighed and glanced back at the dresses. "No...I guess not."

Two weeks earlier, Alex was dolefully Sitting behind the front desk of a corner stop and shop. He lifelessly took the money of younger squids as they gleefully bought snacks and asked for change for the callie and marie figurine vendor.

He watched as the day drained away. Customers gradually became less and less as it neared sunset.15 minutes before closing, he leaned against the metal counter and watched the warm rays of light disappear behind the inkopolis buildings outside, until almost all of them were gone. And along with it, the rest of his happiness.

Rain started to pour not a few minutes later, and he groaned. "No one told me it would rain today."

He sighed and let his thoughts wander off with the sound of the mellow showers outside. He could only think of Liam. He missed his porcelain skin and cute pink tentacles. He also missed other things that made him blush up to his ears when he thought about it.

It was near dark when all of a sudden, he heard the door chime. It swung open, followed by shuffling footsteps that hastily made their way inside. Annoyance washed over him, and he turned to kick the latecomer out, "sorry, we're about to clos-" his eyes widened and his mouth parted the moment he realized who it was.

His heart threatened to beat out of his chest and he stared in disbelief at the beautiful face of his, once long gone, lover. He couldn't tell if he was dreaming or going insane. But he's standing rught there!

"L-Liam?!"

The other looked up and locked eyes with him. His coat and eyelashes were wet with rain water.

They stood like that for what seemed like minutes, when one of them finally broke the silence.

"I- I-, you didn't say say you were- what are you doing here??" Alex stuttered as he tried to hide the overwhelming mixture of feelings rushing through him.

Liam retained his composure, as if he knew he'd be there, and pulled off his hood. He stepped closer to his dumbstruck companion until their noses nearly touched.

"Aren't you glad to see me?" He whispered sweetly, as an innocent smile spread across his lips.

With that, Alex felt his mental walls crumble to peices as he finally realized, this wasn't a dream.

Excitement suddenly rushed over him as he took his boyfriend into his arms without hesitation. He lifted him above his waist and spun them around.

"You're back!" He said emotionally. Liam giggled as excitement got the better of him too. He wrapped his arms around his neck to kiss him meaningfully. He parted and hugged him close.

"Did you miss me?" He asked, despite knowing the answer already. Alex responded by kissing him again.

He felt the other lightly suck on his lower lip, making him moan as a sudden awakening of hunger and heat rose within his core. He wasn't the only one who was missing him in more ways than one. Their mouths moved against eachother's excitedly, and Liam felt his hands move down to his bottom as it became more intense.

He parted suddenly to gaze at him fervidly. His pupils were dark with desire and want. He panted lightly, and his lips were parted and provocatively wet, as if an invitation to devour him completely. Alex had to do a double take to make sure it was really him, and not some sort of succubus imitation.

He moved to whisper hotly in his ear "I didn't expect to see you here. I was planning on surprising you back home." He murmured, purposely letting his words drag. Alex let out a breathy laugh.

He imitated his boyfriend's actions and whispered a response in his ear, in a low voice, "I like this outcome better."

Liam's cheeks flared as he moaned his name and reconnected their mouths.

This time, their sweet kiss turned into one of scorching lust, as the heat between them started to stifle. Alex tasted the rainwater that was still fresh on his lips as he slipped his tongue into his mouth, deepening the kiss.
"I thought- I'd never- see you again." He sputtered between kisses. Liam breathed out a laugh and pulled away.

"I told you I'd be back, didn't I?" Liam purred. His slim fingers moved down from his neck and he started to unbutton his shirt. A fire was lighting between them, and Alex was suddenly aware of how closely pressed together their bodies were, Liam's being damp from his drenched coat.

"I know, but I didn't think I'd last any longer without you-"

Alex was cut off as Liam claimed his lips again, with bruising force. He pulled away almost as abruptly. "Is that your brain or your dick talking?" He huffed out teasingly as his fingers moved to the waistband of his shorts.

Alex suddenly dropped him to his feet, and grabbed his wrists, Pushing him back, up against one of the glass doors of the freezers. Liam staggered back with surprise.

"Who's trying to undress who?" Alex smirked mockingly.

Liam bit his lip with lust and unrestrained happiness as familiar hands moved to grip his waist. Alex slid his mouth down to leave wet kisses and purple marks across the white of his neck. Liam threw his head back helplessly, when something suddenly caught his eye. His blissful state dropped from him like a block of ice.

"Alex" he breathed. Alex looked up in confusion as the ecstasy dropped from his boyfriend's voice.

"What is it? Don't tell me you're getting cold feet already." He said with annoyance. Liam nearly rolled his eyes.

"It's not that, look up there." He suggested, and Alex moved his head to look up. He stared at himself holding Liam's wrists, on the small screen of the security monitor.

Liam turned to face him, " 'Don't think I'm ready to star in my first porno yet." His cheeks tinted a shade pinker. "Also, we can do this someplace a bit more romantic than pressed against frozen pizzas." He said with amusement.

Alex grinned devilishly, and pushed away from his boyfriend. Immediately loathing the absence, Liam was right back at his side, necking him, as they stumbled towards the exit. Alex broke away for a half-second to lock the doors, then was right back against his boyfriend as they shuffled down the rainy street. They shared hot kisses and tried to walk at the same time, nearly tripping 2 times. Inklings were probably watching in disapproval of their display, but they were too happy (and horny) to care.
