Updates start from Chapter 6!

We all piled into one car and went to Party City. After an hour, I found my look and so did the rest of them. We then headed out to watch a movie then eat before returning back to my house. Kai, Liam and Ethan weren't here so we just chill until it was late in the evening. We all got dressed then headed out.

After about 40 minutes, we finally pulled up to a house which honestly looked like a mansion. You could see cars pouring into the driveway and people getting out in costume. My look was a bit different than the basic Purge theme. I had one a lavander wig which was in two pony tails and a neon pink light up mask. I wore black ripped jeans which underneath it had makeup effects to look like I had stab wounds. 

My shirt was a white bloody shirt which was ripped up so you could see my black laced bralette under. The guys and I spent the next hour partying. They soon scattered around the room with different women. I on the hand was now standing in the backyard where the music was quieter. I sat on the grass and looked up at the sky to see no stars in site except lightning. It looked like it was going to rain soon. The city was nice but it wasn't a place I wanted to stay forever. My phone buzzed and I looked down to see it was Ethan calling.

"Hey, how's it going?" I answered.

"Alright. I received a storm warning about 30 miles away from us over seas by Jones beach. The whole city is going to be flooded. Did you do anything by any chance?" he asked his voice a bit panicking.

I stood up and shook my head despite him not being able to see me, "If you're asking if I used any powers, no I didn't."

"Well somethings going down and they're starting to evacuate the city. I'm sending you the News feed now," he informed me.

I looked down to my phone to see a live news video. I clicked on the video and listened in.

"It looks like this will be the deadliest storm yet to ever take place in New York. As you can see behind me, the ocean level is rising and -" the lady paused for a second as she listened in, "I'm getting news that there is an oil ridge not too far from here is being pushed by the harsh waves. If it fully moves, oil will scatter through the ocean and many will be injured on the ridge. They are trying to evacuate but the helicopters cant land due to high wind. It looks like-"

"You there?" Ethan called out. I paused the video and held the phone back to my ear, "Yes. Where are you right now?" I asked.

"Behind you," he spoke. I turned around and looked to see Ethan was behind me. I ran over to him and hugged him. Looking behind him, I saw the other guys were coming to us.

"They're evacuating the City. There's a storm coming and-"

"We know," Ethan cut Chase off. He then turned to me, "You have to do something. This isn't an ordinary storm. I did some research and it looks like some source started this. There's a tornado about 60 miles away in the ocean. It's going to hit the city hard. There will be no coming back to the city. Not to mention, not everyone is taking this serious and evacuating. This storm is going to hit New Jersey as well," he explained.

I let out a sigh knowing this was going to be hell. "What do you propose?" I asked.

"I don't know yet," he mumbled.

I then thought for a second before knowing what to do. "Alright, I need to get to the beach. From there, I'll head to the ocean where the tornado is and control that. After that, everything else should die down," I informed everyone. "That's suicide," Leo shrieked.

I nodded, "But I have to try. People are still staying and even if they left, everyone wouldn't make it out the city in time. Then there is also New Jersey like Ethan said. I want you guys and Ethan to get out of here and go somewhere -"

"No, I'm not leaving you and before you argue with me, remember I always win," Ethan glared at me. The rest of them nodded, "We're not leaving you too. No buts. Now lets get in the car and go. Time is wasting," Richard spoke as he walked back inside the house.

"You guys are idiots for coming with me," I mumbled as we all trailed behind him. "You love us," Leo chirped back. We all exit the house and into 2 cars before taking off to the beach. Normally, it would take us 45 minutes to an hour to reach their but the highway to there was clear and took us only 30 minutes. We pulled into the empty parking lot and got out to see it was now raining and lightning was flashing.

"I created this in the car on our way here. It will monitor your heartbeat and send us your location to which I will see on my system," Ethan spoke as he passed me a bracelet and pulled up his computer system out of thin air. 

I placed the bracelet on and my pulse information was on the side of the screen. He swiped through the air and I watched as a map of me on the beach appeared along with Ethan's location. He then zoomed out and I saw a green tornado swirling in the ocean.

"There is the starting point. It's just 60 miles away. How are you planning to get there?" he asked as we were now standing in front the roaring waves.

I shrugged, "I don't know. What's the statistic of me being able to control this?" I shouted as the ocean got louder.

"About 86.7%," he calculated.

"And the other percent?" I asked. "Well," he trailed off, "You drown, the storm hits us and New Jersey. Many die. No pressure," he shouted. I let out a sigh.

"Are you sure about this?" Leo asked a bit nervous. 

I shook my head, "Not really. If I'm not back in less than 20 minutes, you need to leave. This includes you too," I spoke looking at Ethan. 

He went to protest but I glared at him to which he closed his mouth and nodded. I then planted a kiss on his forehead before hugging him. I then hugged everyone else before headed directly towards the water. I could feel the fear in me rising but I wasn't going to let this state drown.

I quickly took my shoes and socks off before taking off my mask, shirt and my lavender wig. Throwing it to the sand, I stepped a foot in the ocean. Focusing all the elements, I concentrated and found myself floating on the water. Continuing to focus, I ran across the water and started to fly. Flying through the sky, I flew towards the storm and as the wind got heavier, I started to struggle against the wind.

As I got closer to the tornado, I saw the oil ridge was very close to being hit. As I looked closer, I could see some guys outside trying to push a iron pipe. I then saw someone was pinned under it and screaming in pain. Two guys then ran inside and I looked to see one guy remained outside and he was holding the other guy's hand that was pinned down.

Without hesitation, I flew down and landed next to them. A surprise look overcame their faces as they looked at me. "Please don't ask questions. I need you to pull him out when I push the pipe off him," I informed the guy.

He then shook his head, "You can't push it off him. It weighs 4 thousand pounds. My guys are getting medical supplies to amputate his leg. Who are you and how did you get here?" he asked.

"Just shut up and pull him out when I lift it," I ordered and I placed both hands in front me. The heaviest thing I've ever lifted with my powers was a great white shark. Hopefully I can help this guy. Using my powers, I felt a strain as I was slowly lifting the pipe. Using all my strength, I lift it up 2 foot before the guy pulled his friend out.

"Thank you so much. Are you an angel?" the guy started to cry as he took my hand in his. 

"No problem and no. Please don't tell anyone what happened here. I need to go. Please get inside," I quickly spoke. 

They quickly nodded and the guy's friend helped him walk inside. I flew back up and headed to the eye of the tornado. Standing in the eye, I focused my power and tried to control the winds. Eventually they soon died down but the tornado kept going and the rain and lightning got heavier. Using all my strength, I let out a scream causing the lightning to scatter through the sky. Pulling back on the tornado mentally, I focused harder and saw it coming to a stop which then causing the ocean to die down a little. 

The wind picked back up and I looked behind me to see 2 more tornadoes coming towards the oil ridge. Using all my strength, I held both my hands out to each of them and pushed back with every force. It pushed forward to which I pushed back harder with a scream and lightning started to swirl with it and around me. With one last push, I gave it every and the torandos vanished. The ocean was now still and everything went quiet. I felt myself getting weaker and my eyes slowly closing as I was now falling into the ocean.

My body hit the ocean and I was starting to sink. Something tugged on my body gently and started to swim really fast. Within a few blinks, I found myself being dragged out of the water.

"Freya! Can you hear me," a voice shouted in front of me. Slowly blinking, I looked up to see it was the guys and Ethan. "What happened?" I mumbled as I was now beginning to get sleepy.

I could hear some of them gasp and Ethan had a look of shock on his face. "Well, your heart is beating inhumanly and your eyes are glowing blue. Not to mention, your hair is a different shade and a shark just dropped you off," he informed me.

I went to sit up only for my head to hit the sand as I fell back down. "My body hurts," I whimpered as I felt my bones in my body grinning. I was then swooped and I looked to see Leo was carrying me bridal style.

"Shit," I heard Ethan cursed not too long before Leo started to run along with the rest of the guys. Rain was now falling again and I looked behind us only for my eyes to widened. A tsunami was heading start towards us. I then looked in front us to see the car was far away and we were still on the beach. Leaping out of Leo's hand, I ran towards the ocean and stood 10 feet away on the sand.

"Freya, you don't have the strength to stop this," Ethan shouted as he ran up behind me, "You're too tired and drained," he informed me.

He was right. I needed to find a source of power quick. "Tell me when it's going to hit," I spoke before sitting down and closing my eyes. I could hear Ethan and the guys talking to which I drowned them out. Linking myself to Earth, I felt a powerful bond. Searching through it, I felt a source of energy at the core. I then felt another source which was from the depths of the sea. I felt myself being recharged. I then stopped to some point and stood up.

"I recharged myself but I don't think it'll be enough to push this back," I mumbled as I looked at everyone.

Silent overcame us.

"What if you use our energy?" Oscar asked.

Ethan and I both looked at each other before smiling. I then looked towards the ocean whilst three of the guys place a hand on my shoulder and the other three on my shoulder. Ethan then calculated our energy so we were flowing at the same rate. Before the tsunami got any closer, I pushed it back with all the energy flowing through me. The waves pushed back and I fought back.

"Let go!" I ordered the guys. 

They all released me and I flew towards the water and stood above it. Letting out a scream, lightning struck me and I manipulated the humanity in the air so it was now hot. The winds died down and the waves were slowly dying down as well. Everything was back to normal. The guys cheered behind me and I gave them a smile.

My senses heightened and I felt danger coming. Turning my attention back to the ocean, I looked in the distance to see the iron pipe from the oil ridge flying straight towards me. Leaping into action, I lifted up the water from the ocean causing it to stop it in midair. My eyes focused and in the distance, I could see a person flying through the clouds before disappearing. My body gave in and I felt myself falling into the ocean again.
