I know it's been a while and I keep saying I'll update and I'm really sorry I haven't. For the past couple of months I've been going through some personal shit but I make it my goal to finish off this book by the end of this year. I have some chapters written in my laptop already. A hand touch my shoulder followed by a soft voice which came behind me, "I'm so sorry," Victor spoke with guilt.

"Remove your hand from my shoulder before I remove it from your body," I threatened.

He let out a sigh before removing his hand and apologizing. I need to get that staff. Somehow, I knew it held the power to bring Ethan back. Hovering my hand over Ethan's body again, I could sense his organs were in rest mode. They hadn't fully shut down. Picking up Ethan's body, I carried him into the backyard and used my powers to create a grave for him. I used vines and flowers to hold him up from touching the dirt before growing grass over the top of it and a tree. Sitting on the grass, I took off my shoes and closed my eyes. I focused on Kai's energy. Opening my eyes, I found myself in a spiritual realm. Tracing through Earth, I followed Kai's trail and saw he was speed running.

"Found you," I hissed in a sinister voice.

Opening my eyes, I flew inside the house and grabbed the pistol Ethan was holding before running after Kai. Using every ounce of energy in me, I pushed myself to run fast. Within about 10 minutes of running, I found myself running 20 feet behind Kai. With a power leap, I launch onto him causing us to tumble to the floor. Before he could react, I put him to sleep.

I then carried his body back to the house. As I arrived, all the guys rushed to me to which I held my hand up gesturing for them to stand back a bit. I dragged Kai into the vault and locked us in there. I heard something beep and I looked to the corner of the room to see it was a camera. The guys were watching me from outside the vault.

Ignoring them, I sat Kai on a chair and restrained him with my powers before slapping him awake. Confusion took over his face as he looked around the room. His eyes then trailed to be and I saw a flicker of fear run over his face before he smirked.

"I see you found my present," he winked mocking me about Ethan's death. I gripped my hand and power punch him causing him to fly off the chair with a grunt. Grabbing him by the shirt, I yanked him off the floor and threw him back onto the chair. His nose was bleeding and his lip was gushing blood.

"Where's the weapon?" I hissed.

He shrugged, "Don't know."

I threw another punch causing him to fly out the chair. "Bullshit!" I growled as I yanked him back onto the chair. "Of course it is. I'm not telling you shit," he snickered as he spit out a mouthful of blood.

"Fine, have it your way," I mumbled as I sat Indian style in midair in front him. Holding my thumbs against his forehead, I closed my eyes and went inside his mind. Images flashed through my head. I stopped on one which was the staff sitting on the counter in the open in a kitchen. A hand then grabbed it to which Liam was holding it. I tried to find the location but Kai had cleared his mind of the memory somehow.

Releasing him I stared into his blue lightning eyes. "How do you think your brother will feel if he found you death or let along missing without a trace," I threatened.

He rolled his eyes, "He'll find me somehow. He ways does and besides, he'll be proud of what I did."

"He doesn't know where you are, huh?" I question with a smirk, "This just got interesting. Let's give him a call before you die. Shall me," I chirped as I powered my phone to video chat Liam.

After a few rings, Liam answered the video chat.

"Hel-lo," he slowly answered a bit surprised as I was calling on private. "Hi, look who I have," I chirped as I threw my phone back so it was floating in the air. It then dropped to the floor and I watched as Liam was now in the room with me. He was a life size projection. His eyes trailed around the room then landed on Kai.

How was Liam able to project himself?

"Why does it feel like this isn't going to end well?" Liam mumbled as he walked between Kai who was still and myself to which I was now standing.

"It's not. I thought you put your brother up to this but I'm wrong. So here is the last time you'll be speaking to him before I kill him," I smiled.

Liam glared at me before looking to Kai who was smirking. "What did you do?" Liam hissed a bit annoyed.

"I killed Ethan," he spoke proudly.

I watched as Liam tensed up before leveling himself to Kai's eyelevel. "Why?" he questioned.

"One less person to deal with. Besides, now we're ahead of the plan," Kai chirped.

Liam let out a heavy sigh, "Ahead of the plan? Kai, you fucking screwed the plan over. This isn't how things are suppose to go. There is a time for everything," Liam shouted in anger.

"Bring my brother back and you live," I lied to Kai.

"I rather die than bring your brother back," Kai quickly fired back.

Liam let out a growl, "Don't be stupid Kai. You're going to bring her fucking brother back. Wait, how can he bring your brother back?" he questioned.

"The weapon," Kai smirked.

Liam's eyebrow rose, "So it can give back life?" he mumbled to himself as if he figure something out.

I knew exactly what he was thinking. He was thinking that the weapon can take life and give life but it can not. According to what I've seen, the weapon can absorb energy and be put to use. If I give Ethan his energy back, that one breath he had left, I could us my own powers to fully bring him back. A weapon is just an object. It can not give life, only take life.

Liam stared at Kai for a second before turning to me with a smile. "Okay. I have a deal. I'll bring the weapon and grant your brother his life back. In return, you give me Kai back and you let me do what I want. You'll stay out of my way," he offered but it came out like a demand.

"Fine," I lied.

Liam let out a chuckled and shook his head, "I know you're lying. You have 30 minutes to decide until I get there," he spoke before disappearing.

"Get here?" I questioned which caused Kai to snicker. I then let out a growl before realizing Liam somehow linked to Kai and probably found out where I am. I took the pistol and shot him in the shoulder causing him to groan in pain.

"You fucking bitch," he shouted in anger. His body flickered with lightning and it was clear he was trying to be released from my powers which was holding him down.

I walked out the vault and into the backyard. I dug Ethan up and carried him back inside where the guys were now talking of a plan.

"I need you guys to get as far away from here as you possibly could," I informed them as I walked out the house and to the car.

"We're not leaving you here," Kyle spoke and everyone agreed. "Look, I don't have time to argue with you guys. The more you spend talking the closer Liam is to being here. Just please go. I'll find you. If you stay here, Liam will kill everyone of you," I pleaded. They agreed and I passed Ethan over to Leo go got into the back seat with him. Knowing Liam, I know he wouldn't bring my brother back no matter what I gave him.

I kissed Ethan on the head for a good 5 seconds before powering up the car with my powers. The car then took off with speed and I let out a sigh before walking back into the house. I made my way back into the vault and sat on the floor against the wall. I know staying here, there would be a high chance of Liam killing me. I don't know why I stayed excepting I knew at some point, I would have to face him.

Closing my eyes, I leaned my hand against the wall.

"You're dead meat," Kai shouted from his seat. "When I get out of this, I'm going to rip your -," before he could finish, I temporarily muted him.

I wanted to scream. I wanted to eat. I wanted to sleep. I wanted to go back to a normal life. I don't know what to do or what to think except if Victor wasn't in the picture, none of this wouldn't happen. If he hadn't lie, we wouldn't be in this mess. If he had listen to me, Ethan wouldn't have been dead or temporarily dead.

"Your weak and pathetic," Kai hissed. I opened my eyes and glared at him, "Didn't I shut you up?" I questioned.

"Your powers can hold me," he growled twisting around in the chair. "How's it working for you?" I asked mocking as to how he was still stuck to the chair.

He rolled his eyes, "Go fuck yourself."

I nodded my head, "Right back at you too buddy," I spoke as I got up. I sped over to him and held his mouth open with one hand before forcing him to swallow a small pea size ball of lightning. He let out a cough as I released him.

He continued to talk and I walked out the vault and out the house onto the backyard porch. Rain was now falling heavy and the wind was blowing. Sitting on the steps, I looked out into the distance to see lightning flashing before thunder boomed through the sky.

I always loved when it rain as a child. Something about hearing the rain hit the surface gave me peace. Closing my eyes, I focused and heard each droplet of water fall individually. I felt a burst of energy in front of me and I opened my eyes to see Liam was standing in front me. He looked different than the last time I spoke to him on the phone. His hair was a neon blue mixed with white and his eyes were a shade of purple.

"Where is him?" he questioned. I let out a sigh and got up before heading back inside into the vault.

As I walked into the vault, Kai's eyes flickered to me then behind me as he saw Liam. A smirk took it's place on his lip.

"I want my brother back," I demanded, "Kai is alive so a deal was a deal."

Liam shook his head as he walked around the room, "That's your deal but that was never my deal. It's either my way or no way," he glared at me.

"Smart moving your brother out of this place before I came. I could feel his energy fading. I also sense you boyfriend was here along with his bitches. I'm surprised he didn't stick around with you considering the situation you are in," Liam added as he leaned against the wall.

I rolled my eyes, "Of course I would move Ethan before you came and Victor isn't my boyfriend," I mumbled.

Within a blink, Liam was now behind me. He held my shoulders and took a deep inhale as he was taking in my scent. "I smell anger and resentment along with guilt. You haven't even given lover-boy a chance to redeem himself. You blame him for this," he read my feelings.

"If you were with me, I would treat you like a Queen," Liam whispered, his mouth just an inch away from my ear. "I could give you everything he can't give you," he spoke before kissing my ear. His hands left my shoulder as he walked around me and to Kai who looked bored out of his mind.

"Are ya'll done yet? Like if you're going to fuck, just-"

Before Kai could finish, Liam power punched him off the chair causing me to actually flinch at how strong the punch was. It was stronger than when I punched Kai both times.

"Shut the fuck up. You're such a screw up and somehow you manage to screw things up even more," Liam hissed in anger. His voice boomed through the room with power which seem to silence Kai as well. Liam waved his hand and Kai disappeared before my eyes.

"What did you do?" I asked confused as I was staring at the empty spot on the floor. "I sent him home. Now it's our turn to talk," Liam spoke in a deep voice as he circled around me slowly.

"There's nothing to talk about. I told you I wanted my brother back," I rolled my eyes. He stopped in front me and stared into my eyes, "I've underestimated you this whole time. You're much stronger than you let on. Join me," he smirked.

Within a swift move, I held the pistol up to his stomach and shot him in the heart. I watched as the smirk remained on his face before he looked down to his chest. I followed his trail to see blood seeping in through his black shirt. He then dug into the hole in his shirt before pulling out the bloody bullet.

"That wasn't very nice," his voice came out calm. I watched as he dropped the bullet to the floor and his bullet wound healed back up. His hand then grabbed around my through before he slammed me against the wall.

"You have so much power. So much potential and you waste it every single day. You could do so many things with it yet you spent so much time running and going to school," he shouted as he used one of his hand to crack my ribs. I let out a hard scream causing the room to shake.

An amused look overcame his face, "There's the power. I could kill you right now but I'm not simply for pure entertainment. I want you to see what I will do with the power I have. You had your chance. It's my turn now," he grinned before throwing me to the floor.

Pushing through the pain, I fly back up onto my feet and attacked him from behind. I tried to snap his neck but his reflexes were much faster than mine. He whipped around and held both my hands in mid-air before throwing me back with force causing me to break through a wall.

I let out a groan and pushed myself off my feet.

"Still trying to put up a fight, huh?" he chuckled as he walked through the hole in the wall with his hands in his pocket. I went to tackle him again but he dodged every one of them without taking his hands out of his pocket. I tried using my powers but it did nothing to him. Sending a lightning wave to him, he held his hand up and reversed it causing me to get blasted. Pushing myself back up of the floor again, I went full charging towards him.

He dodged all of them then quickly placed both his hands around the top of my head. "Let me show you something you missed out on," his smirk widened. Within a blink, I was now looking at how he had tortured my parents. I let out a painful scream as I was now feeling everything they felt.

As I blinked again, I was now looked at Liam who winked at me. "Tell the guys I said 'Hi'," he teased. Before I could process what he meant, he flew up through the house and cracked my ribs again causing me to scream. I grabbed his hand to which he twisted my hand back and threw me with force and speed. I looked to see he had form some sort of portal. He gave a wave and closed it so I was now staring at the black sky in the rain. I was falling from the sky.
