Getting a bit tired, I switched from running to flying. About 3 hours later, I finally arrived. Before anyone could see me, I opened my window and flew in. Dropping to the floor, I felt so exhausted but I pushed through it and got back up. I took a shower and changed into different clothes before walking into Kai's room.

Emptying drawers after drawers, I dumped his clothes on the floor and ram-sack his room. I then searched his bookshelf and found nothing to which I started searching through his laptop which also appeared with nothing. Standing in the middle of his room I let out a sigh and looked around. My eyes then landed back on the book which had bookmarks in them. Walking over to it, I grabbed the books and looked to see it was mythology books. 

Looking through the book, I saw some pages were folded in. Opening about four of them, I saw they were different staffs like Poseidon trident. One of the staff was circled with a pen. Opening another book, I saw it was some crystals. One of them was circled just like the staff. They were making their own staff. I ran through the room again looking for any sketches of a weapon and finally found one in the trash. Kai had drawn a staff with a crystal in the middle on top.

I fold the paper and shoved it in my pocket. Some squeaking came next to me and I turned around before looking down to see Hazel full on yelling at me about forgetting him.

"Oh suck it up. You lived didn't you?" I glared at him to which he started to sass me. "Yeah, I get it but there is a much bigger issue here and you're not safe with Ethan and I. You need to go blend in. We'll get you when this whole thing blows over," I informed him, " and before you ask, Liam and Kai are trying to kill us. Now I'm not going to tell you again, go to your girlfriends tree and live there for a while," I added. He gave me one last sass before leaving.

Letting out a sigh, I felt something trickle down my top lip. Sliding my hand across under my nose, I looked at it to see I was bleeding. "Great," I mumbled as I grabbed one of Kai's shirt from the floor and wiped my nose before tossing it aside. Walking into my room, I grabbed some cash and made my way through the house and outside.

Walking down the block, I felt the breeze blew through my hair and I looked up to see the sky was foggy. It looked as if it were going to rain. After walking a few more blocks, I walked into a diner and sat in a booth. A server came by and took my order before disappearing. Looking around the diner, I watched as people casually talked amongst their selves. No one knew what was really going on. Everyone seemed so happy and in their own world. The more I focused on each of them, the more I could feel their energy. If I listened closely, I could hear their chewing. I could smell all the different smells of food and everyone's perfume.

A plate was placed down in front me and I quickly ate my food before paying and leaving. As I walked around more, I couldn't help but start to feel a bit drain. I needed to sleep but every time I close my eyes, I could see my parents just laying dead on the floor in front me. I spent the entire day walking around before heading back home as it was now starting to rain again.

As I walked inside, I crashed on the couch and felt myself slipping into sleep. There it was again, my parents lifeless body laying in front of me. Something touched my cheek and I quickly open my eyes before grabbing the person by the neck with one hand, choking him. I watched as his eyes widened in shock rather than fear as he held his hand up in surrender.

I rolled my eyes and released him, "What are you doing here?" I questioned him.

Victor shrugged his shoulders, "I needed to check on you. You weren't returning our calls so I flew here...in my plane," he added as if it was a little joke to how I can fly. He let out a muffle laugh at his joke then quickly dropped it. "You need to go grocery shopping," Kyle whined. I peeked around Victor's body to see Kyle was looking through my fridge.

"Ethan was still sleeping when we left so I left him with Richard and Oscar so they're going to bring him over when he's up," Victor informed me. I nodded and pulled a paper out of my pocket before laying it on the counter.

"Liam and Kai made a weapon like this," I showed them the sketches Kai made. "Wherever they are, I could sense they're going to use it soon. I could feel Earth's energy shifting," I mumbled. They all took the paper and looked at it. "Yeah, it's only 6 and it's dark outside," Leo informed me.

Liam was already making his first move. I stared at the drawing as everyone was asking questions and talking amongst themselves. I then remember Liam mentioning he got the weapon charged up by me using my powers for the storm. This was when I was by the beach.

I headed for the door only for someone to grab my hand. I looked to see it was Victor. "Where exactly are you going?" he asked with his eyebrow raised.

"To the beach. I need to find some answers," I informed him as I took my hand back.

"We'll drive," Chase spoke as they were all walking out the house. I let out a scoff of annoyance as Victor gestured for me to walk behind them as he would trail behind me. "I could just run there. It will be -"

"Faster," they all spoke in sync, "We know," they added.

"But it wouldn't hurt for a drive," Kyle smiled as he opened the door for me. I hopped in the backseat with Victor next to me and Kyle next to him so I had a window seat. Leo got in the driver's seat and Chase got in the passenger's seat. I rolled my window down and looked out the window as Leo was now on the highway. 

Looking at the sky I saw it was dark as if it was 9 o'clock in the night. Looking around, I saw there were just 2 cars on the highway but they were driving the opposite way. Holding my hand out to the sky, I focused as I tried to lighten the sky so it wasn't pitch black but failed. Closing my hand I then quickly open it caused stars to fly out. As they came out the palms of my hand, they flew up into the sky before taking their place.

Pulling up to the beach, I quickly got out and ran down to the shore.

"What are you going to do?" Victor asked me. "Find answers," I mumbled as I started to walk into the water fully clothed. Once deep enough, I drove in and sped through the Ocean. As I reached to the center where the storm took its place, I sat on the Ocean floor. Around me, I created light that came out from the corals around me. Focusing my powers, I spoke to the creatures.

"I need your help. The storm that happened was created by someone. Does anyone know anything know anything or saw anything? I know it's not much to go on," I spoke out telepathically.

I received a bunch of 'no' in response as different fishes gather in front me. I let out a sigh as I was trying to think what else I could do.

"I did. I saw him forge the weapon in the water and followed them here," a voice spoke. I looked straight ahead to see a it was a shark making its way to me. "You're the shark who rescued me the day I fell into the ocean," I recognized him.

"Yes."

"Thank you for rescuing me. Can you show me where you saw this?" I asked.

" I can but it will take us a couple of days to reach there. It's to the deepest part of the ocean. The humans call it Challenger Deep," he informed me.

"I could get us their faster but I need you to lead," I spoke in a stern tone. He agreed and I stood in front him before touching his nose. Focusing, I boosted his speed to inhumanly possible. He was going to be fast as me.

He took off with speed and I followed behind him. About 30 minutes of swimming, we finally reached before driving straight down to the ocean floor. It was pitch black. I went I make light but realized that the creature who were here could be blinded as they don't need light to see. Closing my eyes, I enhanced my genes to see in the dark underwater. Opening my eyes, I was taken back at how beautiful it was. Corals we've never seen before along with creatures.

"The guy who came down here was in a air bubble. He came down here with some light and chipped a piece out of this rock," the shark spoke as he slowly swam by the rock. I looked to see it was a smooth rock and had a missing piece which looked to be the shape of the staff.

"What about the crystal?" I asked. "It's actually a coral which they combined it with a crystal from on shore. A guy with lightning in his fingers sparked it. I don't know how to explain it," a small crab spoke.

I thanked them before heading back to the shore. As I emerged from the Ocean, I watched as all the guys stood onto their feet as they were sitting on the sand. As I walked out, every ounce of water from my clothes went back into the ocean so I was now dry.

"Found anything?" Kyle asked as they all ran up to me. I nodded my head, "I found out how they made the weapon. They got it from the deepest part of the Ocean. I'll head home and do some searching around," I informed them to which they nodded before we headed back to the car.

I decided to drive instead since its been a while I drove a car. We silently listened to music as the guys all talk amongst themselves. Victor was in the back with Kyle and Chase. Leo was in the passenger seat. I couldn't help but feel something bad was happening. Peeking out the window and up at the sky, I notice the stars were no longer visible.

"How far is Ethan?" I asked.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, I told Richard and Oscar to watch over Ethan at another safe house. I figured he would be safe away from here," Victor spoke in confidence.

My hand grip around the wheel as I felt a bit angry.

"Where is my brother?" I hissed, "Get him on a fucking plane right now."

Victor shook his head, "Look, I know you want to protect him but it's best he stays away from all of this," he tried to reason with me.

I let out a heavy sigh trying to contain my anger, "Victor, Ethan is not save anywhere expecting with me now. Liam and Kai just forge a weapon with Earths energy and can now do anything. So I'm going to ask you one last time, where is my brother," I growled.

"He's safe. I -" before he could finish, I held my hand up causing him to go mute by force due to my powers.

Swiping through the air, I called Ethan. The phone rang but then went to voicemail. "Someone call Richard and Oscar now!" I shouted. Leo and Kyle pulled out their phones before dialing on speaker. It both went to voicemail and I felt myself starting to panic. I dialed Ethan again. The phone rang a couple times before Ethan picked up.

"Freya, help me. Kai is here," he whispered into the phone. I stepped on the gas and sped through the highway.

"Where are you? Send me your location and hide," I ordered him. "I sent it and I'm hiding in the wall vault," he whispered. I could hear the fear in his voice.

I pinged his location. He was 4 hours away. Using my power and all my energy, I powered up the car as we were now in the sky racing through the air as if I was running full speed. They guys all started to scream as they were panicking so I put them to sleep.

"I'm on my way. Where is Richard and Oscar?" I asked. "Kai had them downstairs. I'm positive he's not going to kill them though. He's here for me," Ethan started to cry. I shook my head, "No, no. Everything is going to be okay. I'm coming as fast as I could," I assured him.

"Freya, I don't want to die," he sobbed through the call. I felt my heart shatter to pieces, "You're not going to die," I stated.

"My statistics says otherwise," he mumbled before hiccuping.

"Fuck your statistics. You're going to make it through this," I spoke in a stern tone. "I just want you to know that you're the best sister I could ask for and friend. I love you, Freya," he spoke.

I shook my head, "No! Don't take like that. Why are you talking like that?" I found myself shouting in fear.

Silence overcame the call for a brief second. "Because he's at the vault door," Ethan choked out.

"No where to run or hide," Kai chuckled in the background. A loud scream then echoed through the car before the line went dead. Forcing my powers to move fast, I arrived at a house within 20 minutes. Throughout the entire time, the guys phones kept ringing. I dropped the car onto the ground a it rough causing everyone to jerk away. I hopped out the car before running through the front door. Only to heard a bunch of clicks.

Richard and Oscar were both bloody and aiming their guns at me. Kai had beaten both of them up. As they notice it was me, they both frowned and lowered their gun. "Where is he?" I choked out. Richard walked in front me and up the stairs before leading me into a bedroom. He then opened a secret door which led to a silver vault. He opened it and lowered his head before slowly opening it.

As the room was slowly revealed, I could see blood splattered across the floor and walls which held various guns. In the middle of the room laid Ethan on the ground with a pistol in his hand. Running over to him, I hovered my hand over his body trying to read his energy.

Looking at his body from the outside, his face was bloody and he had been shot in the chest on the right. He had been dead for about 10 minutes now due to bleeding out. Kai made him suffer.

"No," was all I managed to say as I held Ethan's head in my lap and his hand in my hand. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I was now torn with more anger. Closing my eyes, I pulled the bullet out of his chest and self healed his body. Focusing, I tried to make his heart beat again but there was no success.

Letting out a sob, I looked up to see all the guys staring at me in sympathy. Richard then let out a muffle cry along with Oscar.

"I'm so sorry. This is my fault. I should of protect him-"

"No stop. This isn't your fault nor is it your fault," I spoke looking at Richard then at Oscar. 

Closing my eyes, I focused on the energy of the room and mentally opened my eyes to see the guys were no longer here. Looking to the corner of the room, I saw Ethan was in the corner of the room talking to me on the phone with a pistol in his hand. The vault door then flew open revealing Kai who was holding the staff. He make some remarks to Ethan before using the staff to force Ethan to shoot himself in the shoulder. 

Kai then flashed around the room beating up my brother before he collapsed to the floor to which Kai watched him bleed out with a smirk on his face. Before Ethan took his last breath, Kai tapped Ethan's head with the staff causing it to glow brighter before fading. It was as if the staff absorbed Ethan's remaining energy. Kai then threw the staff into midair to which it disappeared into some portal.

I watched as his body towered over Ethan's lifeless body. A sinister smile rose to his face. He then leaned over and dipped his finger in Ethan's body and wrote something on his stomach before disappearing out the room. Opening my eyes, I pulled Ethan's shirt up to see a smiley face on his stomach in his own blood.
