I look to the sky and see an endless abundance of stars and wonder
Why aren't I as amazing?
Why can't I be as beautiful?
Why am I just a speck of dust compared to any of them?

I look to my loved ones and see their timeless joy and I wonder
Why can't I be like that?
Why am I so hurt?
Why is my heart so empty
When I have them?

I look to the mighty sea, so strong and wise and wonderful and I wonder
Why an I so weak?
Why can't I be strong?
Why am I so stupid?

Then I look to the colorful rainbow and realize
I am hidden.
I am frail but I will steady.
I glow after my storms.

Then I see the stars compared to the galaxies.
The ocean to the earth.
A rainbow to a storm.
And I realize,

I am not weak I only think I am.
I am not stupid I am only told I am.
I am not a speck they just make me think I am.
I am a beautiful rainbow
And I know I will fade
But
I can still live for another day.
