The first official lesson of our college student year was a theoretical lesson. We were divided into groups of fifteen for these lessons. They explained it was better to understand what they were showing us and that way we could all practice at the same time. Bokuto and I were in the same group while Kuroo was with Oikawa and Iwaizumi. Their lesson was later that day compared to us. To begin with, our teacher taught us about first aid techniques. He explained it was very important to know the basic especially if you were going to be a coach. He spent a few minutes explaining what to do in case of a swollen ankle or wrist and showed us how to tape the wound on a student. Bokuto and I listened to it silently. I was surprised that Bokuto was not talking. I would imagine him being that one child who always spoke during class but surprisingly, he was silent. After all, he managed to get into this school which meant that he should be quite a good student. Then, I glanced back at him with a small smile and was taken aback by what I witnessed. He was fucking sleeping.

I elbowed him gently to wake him up and felt him jump from surprise. "Don't sleep in your first lesson," I whispered to him.

He yawned a bit and rested his head on the desk. "But I could not sleep last night."

"Why's that?"

He paused, staring in the distance. I could already see his guilty look. "I was playing games."

"I knew it," I sighed. I turned back to the teacher who gave out tapes for everyone to try with a partner. "Did you at least watch the demonstration?"

He shook his head with an innocent look on his face. I sighed again and proceeded to show him how to do it. I took his wrist and placed it in front of me. I explained to him as I was doing it to be sure he understood it. He nodded all the way through with what I guessed was a serious face. To be honest, he looked quite cute. I laughed it off and continued teaching him. "You're so good at teaching, [name]-chan! I think I totally get it!"

"Then, your turn!" I extended my arm so he could train as well. He was frowning all the way through, it was pretty funny to watch. He really wanted to succeed on his first try.

He neatly finished it and stared back at me for approval. "So? Did I do good?!" he asked, excitingly.

I chuckled and nodded my head. "You did fairly well! With a bit of training, you'll be the best tape-man I know!"

"Yeah!" he shouted with a proud look on his face. He was so easy to motivate, it was the most entertaining thing.

The teacher came to us to look at our work and nodded with a grin. "That's really good. Did you do it before?" he asked me.

"Yes. I had to do it for my older brother several times because he kept on injuring himself."

The teacher smiled and gave us some feedbacks so we could improve for next time. Once he left, Bokuto rested his head on his arm and stared at me. "So you have an older brother?"

"Yup. Two actually. And they're the most annoying people I know." Bokuto motioned for me to continue and I shrugged my shoulders. "They wouldn't let me do anything if I was not under their watch. So, imagine when I told them I was accepted here, in Tokyo. They went head over heels! They thought about changing Uni and jobs just to come here."

The lesson ended as Bokuto burst out laughing. "You must have very annoying brothers!"

"Right?! I can't stand them sometimes!"

"How did they react when you told them you were living with two guys?"

I gulped and avoided any eye contact. "Well, the thing is... I have not told anyone in my family I was living with you two... They think I live with two girls."

Bokuto held his belly as he laughed louder than before. People stared at us in the corridor and I tried to stop him because it was becoming very embarrassing. "S-sorry but t-that's too funny! You know you're up to big troubles now?"

I punched his shoulder gently. "Shut up! I know..."

We walked to our next lesson and were joined by Kuroo then. Without my permission, Bokuto told him what I just confessed to him. Kuroo joined him in making fun of me and I hid under my jacket as best as I could. I regretted immediately saying anything to Bokuto.

Note to myself: Do not confess any secrets to these two.

It was time for the dance club to start. This time around, we had to find a partner to dance. Most people find a pair quite quickly but I was in the middle of it, not finding anyone. At some point, I spotted a small girl who glanced around shyly. I approached her with a confident smile. "Hi, there! I'm [name]! Do you want to team up?" I gently asked.

Her face lit up and she nodded. "I-I would love to! My name is Nam Ha-Yun. Nice to meet you!"

She looks so cute. "Are you Korean?"

She nodded. "Half-Korean actually. My mom is Japanese."

"Oh, I see! Well, I look forward to working with you!"

"Me too!"

We had to come up with some moves to do on an imposed song that was playing in the background. We had forty-five minutes to come up with something. Ha-Yun and I had fun finding all kinds of moves from different styles. I showed her how I was mixing these specific styles together and how well it could actually turn out. She was very good at hip-hop and classic. We ended having a really great time together. In the end, we exchanged numbers and promised to keep contact to hang out sometimes as well. I waved her goodbye as she walked out of the gym. I glanced at the time and pondered what should I do. I felt quite exhausted from today so I figured out going home was my best option. I took a long way home, going to the park in the center of the campus.

It was pitch dark outside. It was dinner time already but I did not feel like going home right now. I sat at a bench and took a deep breath. I could feel that the air was much more polluted here. I did not have this feeling of a fresh breeze as I walked around the village. Nature was not as present as it was back where I grew up. When I looked around in this city, I could see huge buildings, houses everywhere, constant cars going back and forth on the roads. I already felt a feeling of nostalgia building inside me. It was quite hard to have this big change of scenery. Yet, I enjoyed it. I was lucky enough to have made friends fairly quickly, especially two town boys. They made it easier for me to understand life in the capital. To be honest, I was scared to come here alone. All my friends from my hometown in Hinohara went to different universities. I only knew one girl from my former school but I hoped to not crossroad with her. I stared at the dark sky above my head. It was hard to see the stars with pollution. I could only see the brighter ones. I found it kind of sad that citizens here missed the real beauty of this ocean of stars. I closed my eyes, remembering the vision of this beauty that was the universe. Suddenly, I heard a noise from behind me. I quickly sat up and turned around. I saw a tall male figure standing in the dark. The adrenaline rushed inside of me as I felt a sudden threat. In an unknown world, in the dark, anything could happen and I had to prepare to face it.

"Sorry! I did not mean to scare you," a voice I felt like I heard before apologized. I saw the man raising his hands as he stepped in the light. The man had dark brown hair and eyes. He had fluffy-like hair that I recognized immediately.

"Oh, it's you, Oikawa," I exhaled out of relief and let the tension leave my body. I sat comfortably on the bench again and looked back at the sky. I heard him getting closer and he sat next to me.

"You don't mind?" he asked politely. I shook my head and continued to dream about the universe above. "Do you like staring at the sky?"

I smiled and nodded. "It's calming me. I used to go out and watched the stars when I was upset as a kid," I paused and glanced at him. "I find it fascinating," I admitted with a light chuckle. He looked kind of surprised but, I could tell, it was in a good way. "In my hometown, you could easily see thousands of stars shining in this dark sea. I have to say, I already missed it." I noticed that Oikawa had not said a word since he sat there. He was just silently listening to me. I felt kind of embarrassed when I realized I was monopolizing the conversation. "I'm sorry! It must be boring..."

He vividly shook his head. "Not at all! I love space! I had always been passionate about it as well! I was just... surprised to meet a girl that shared this passion as well," he finished with a smile. His happy face made me blush. I felt my heart pounding hard in my chest. It was the first time I saw him genuinely smile. I could not help but feel moved. I smiled back at him.

We stayed a bit longer together speaking about stars and our experience around space. He told me a bunch of theories about aliens as well. I could tell it was his secret passion that only his close friends knew about. Even without him telling me, I swore not to tell anyone else about our little conversation. I heard my phone rang, waking us up from our bubble. I apologized and reached out to it. It was Kuroo who wondered where I was at as it was already late. I told him I would be there soon. I glanced at Oikawa who waited for me to finish silently. I had to admit that he was very charming. His features were so elegant I wondered sometimes if he was not a mannequin instead of an athlete. I found myself mesmerized by his good look. I was happy that I could spend time like this with him. He was way kinder than I thought he was. I wished we could have more moments such as tonight.

"I should go now," I managed to say. He nodded and stood up.

"I should as well. Can I walk you home?" he asked like a good gentleman. He extended a hand to help me stand up. I felt my heart pounding once again. He seemed so mature with the environment around us. I nodded and took his hand.

"We're heading in the same direction anyway," I clarified as I tried to hide my blush with my hand.

I heard him chuckle and hummed. "But I didn't want to feel like a weirdo as I followed you on this dark campus."

We both laughed and continued to speak about diverse things as we made our way home. I was able to learn more about him while we walked. As he would tell me about him, I would tell him about me and so on. I was amazed at how fast we went from neighbors and classmates to, hopefully, friends. Eventually, we reached my house. We stopped by the doorsteps and stood there for a few minutes, exchanging numbers before parting ways. I smiled at him and waved him goodbye. When I turned back, I felt his hand grabbing my wrist. I looked back and saw his embarrassed face. I could not stop myself from blushing because of his cute look.

"If you don't mind, could we sometimes join together and stared at the sky like tonight?"

I grinned happily and nodded without thinking twice. "I would love too! I will bring my astronomy book then!"

I gave me a huge smile. "That's a deal then." I stepped closer and kissed my cheek. I blinked a few times and held my cheek. "See you tomorrow, [first name]."

I felt a shiver down my spine. I swore, before he turned around, I saw a smirk in the corner of his lips. I felt myself burning inside despite the fresh breeze outside. I bit my lips to calm myself and stepped inside. I leaned on the door and took a deep breath. I locked the door and made my way to the kitchen. I saw my two roommates sitting on the couch. "Oh, there you are," Bokuto shouted as he saw me enter. He raised an eyebrow as glanced at my face. "You're alright? You're red."

I cleared my throat and nodded. "I'm alright, thank you," I said as I opened the fridge to make me some food.

"You were out on a date or something?" Kuroo said jokingly with his usual smirk.

"I-it wasn't a date! We were just talk-" I stopped as I realized he wasn't serious.

I felt their eyes on my back as I realized the mistake I just made. "So you were with a guy!" Kuroo exclaimed.

I took my smoothie from the fridge and rushed upstairs. "I'm not really hungry! Good night!"

I heard them calling for my name but I ignored them and locked myself in my room. I laid on my bed with my bottle in hand. I could still feel my heart pounding a bit as I remembered the good time we had together. My phone buzzed from my pocket. I saw the name 'Touru-chan' with an alien emoji next to it. I chuckled at the name as I did not see until now the nickname he picked for himself. He thanked me for tonight and wished me a good night. His text was full of emojis, it was kind of hard to understand what he meant with some. I texted him back with a smile. I felt like a highschooler texting her secret crush. I had a crush once and remembered the feeling was somewhat similar, yet, different. I just wanted to spend time with him again. It was so relaxing.

Before I knew it, I fell asleep in my bed, phone in one hand, smoothie in the other.
