Much like catfishing, hatfishing, and blackfishing, hairfishing is deceiving people regarding hair.  In this case, I am talking more specifically about how those with looser textures deceive those with tighter hair patterns (mainly 4C.)  

As an avid YouTube user and Youtuber, I see this all the time.  I will mainly be talking about this at a YT level, but know that this can apply in real life of course.  

There will be girls with type 4A hair who will make a thumbnail that says "How I Got My 4C curls to POP!" Uh, sis, I think it's genetics.  I will talk about why hair fishing occurs in the next chapter, but I hope you get the gist as to what it is.
