Alright, so lemme tell you the situation.  A lot of people when they go natural be PRAYING that they don't have 4C hair.  In fact, on YouTube a lot of the time, it's the girls with loose curls that get the most views in comparison to the girls with kinkier hair textures.  

One day, I came upon this lovely example in my feed:

If you notice they got around 30k views each, but for one it took 2 years.  I wonder why... It seems that people are still obsessed with European ideals hence why they click on images of curls on social media sites and support looser textures.  I believe in supporting all my sistas, so I subscribe to a few people with curly hair (I love me Halssa, she be reppin' African beauty) and a bunch of type 4 naturalistas.

In the media, natural hair is praised if there are curls, but if a girl wants to embrace her kinky hair, all of a sudden there's a problem.  Natural hair involves curls, coils, and kinks--not one over the other.  In a movement that should help people love their hair, why are some trying to insult a particular one.

Why should one feel repressed in their own movement?  My naps are good enough and her curls are too.   Share your thoughts.
