Chapter Four
You smiled softly at Jimin who had taken the day away from work to help you sort out the mess made in your house. He had sweat beading at his forehead as the temperature throughout the day got hotter and hotter.
"Jimin?" You called out softly from where you were pushing the sofa back into place.
"Yes Noona?" He asked, lifting his head from where he was rebuilding a table and chairs.
"Would you like a cold drink?" You smiled softly.
His eyes lit up at your mention of this and flashed you a grin.
You smiled softly and with one last push had the sofa exactly where it was before last night.
You dusted your hands off on your jeans before heading to the kitchen and opening the fridge. Inside was a jug of homemade summer fruit juice you had made yesterday morning before work. You went to the freezer, throwing a few ice cubes in the jug before grabbing two glasses and carrying it all out to the coffee table in the middle of your living room.
"Feel free to sit and have a break." You called through to the dining room, and Jimin's head popped around the corner and he came and sat on the sofa alongside you.
You went to pour to glasses of the juice, but Jimin's hand beat you to it and brushed against yours. Sending your hand recoiling back into yourself. He poured the two glasses before sighing in content when he had taken a big gulp.
You two sat in silence for a short while, thankfully it wasn't awkward. It was rather comfortable. You relaxed back into the couch, after the person coming into your house last night, you hadn't slept well. Even if you were in Jimin's house with him.
—
You woke up to Jimin asleep sat up with his head against the sofa by your hand. You sat up slowly, unable to remember when you had fallen asleep. Until your eyes widened with realisation. What was messy was cleaned up, guaranteed it mightn't have been to the way you had it or preferred it. But there was no misplaced furniture, the photos were back on shelves along with books-
You looked at Jimin, who had his sleeves rolled up, his hair pushed out of his eyes and whos chest rose and fell occasionally as he breathed. You couldn't help but smile at the sight. He had tidied up the entire house whilst you had slept.
You must have spaced out because when you came back to focusing on reality, he was awake and perched on the edge of the sofa.
"I know you didn't sleep much last night... I couldn't wake you up. My conscious wouldn't let me." He chuckled softly. That's when you hugged him tightly.
"Thank you Jimin..." You whispered, his muscles flexing around you as he hugged back.
"It's no problem..." He whispered in return. "Although I should really be going now. I have files and reports to fill out before another meeting tomorrow-"
You then filled with guilt. You took him away from his work to help you do something you could have done yourself-
"Jimin?" You spoke softly as he stood up, stretching out.
"Yes Noona?"
"What would your opinion be if we joined companies. I feel guilty for taking you away from your work, and now you have so many files and reports to do... if we joined companies I could help and lessen your workload." You smiled brightly.
His eyes widened. "W-Wait... I thought you didn't want to just combine our companies due to a 'child' like me?"
"You've proven to be more of a help than you let on. You helped me last night and you helped tidy up today." You spoke softly whilst looking down at your lap. "You're not a child. A child wouldn't have came to help, or stay off work therefore resulting in his own loss to help me-"
"Of course." He spoke. Your eyes drifted upwards, a smile on both your faces. "It'll be a pleasure working with you more often Noona." He grinned.
"Bring your files and such back here and I'll help you with them." You smiled brightly and he nodded.
"Thank you." He whispered softly, leaning down and pressing a kiss to your forehead which left you rosy cheeked and flustered when he left your house.
