The guild hall doors opened. Gramps stood beside you ready to escort you in. Guild members were lined up in rows. You had never felt anything better than you had in that moment. Natsu stood tall and confident at the end of the isle. His checkered scarf topped off his elegant suit and for once he wasn't causing trouble. Happy who stood beside him couldn't hold his sobs in even when Carla repeatedly told him to "shut up". You couldn't help but giggle. With each step your heart began to beat faster and harder. Closer and closer you got to Natsu. You could see the light pink that dusted his cheeks and when you looked at him yours turned the same color too.
You had reached Natsu. Gramps had let go of your arm and gave you a wink before heading to his seat.
"(F/n) I have no idea where I would be with out you. Your my mate and I love you so much. I vow to protect you the rest of my life even if I couldn't protect you before I promise I will now! I won't spend all our money on food and I promise not to do to much damage on missions from now on! So make sure you say yes okay?" A big smile lit up the pink haired boys face. Tears of joy pricked at the corners of your eyes.
"Natsu, your an idiot" his smile faded "but I love you more than you could ever imagine. You came and rescued me. And you along with every one else refused to give up. And for that I thank you. I promise to protect you with everything I have and I will stop at nothing to keep you safe. I love you Natsu. So make sure you say I do too!"
Natsu pulled you close and placed his lips on yours.
"H-Hey you haven't said I do yet" Gray shouted.
"Shut up Popsicle. Isn't it obvious we're both going to say I do!"
