It was evening in Magnolia.
The sunset was radiant.

"HIM??!" Lucy choked, spitting out her drink.

"Are you sure you wouldn't rather stay with Lucy or I?" Erza chimed in.

"Yea I'll be fine." You said nonchalantly.

"Plus we've got that job early in the morning. I can make sure Natsu & Happy wake up on time!" You said, giving them your signature smile/smirk/pout. ( Whatever you do :3 )

"I suppose.." Erza said to herself.

"If you need us just call!" Lucy assured with a smile.

You opened your mouth to give a response before you saw Erza point behind you.

You calmly squatted down onto the balls of your feet as Erza pulled Lucy down with her.

"AAAH-!" Gray yelped, flying overhead before crashing into a wall.

You all sweatdropped and sighed in sync.

You, Natsu, and Happy walked into the small shack. The sun now barely in the sky.

"You can crash on the couch!" Natsu said, plopping his backpack on said couch.

You sweatdropped, taking a look around the shack. Taking in the details- more like taking note of where the big piles of junk were so you wouldn't trip on them.

You walked over to Natsu's bed and sat on it just before you heard the shower turn on.

"Hey _____?" Happy flew next to you.

"Yeah Happy, what's up?" You said with a smile as you fell back into the bed, letting out a sigh of relaxation.

"Why'd you choose to stay with us and not Erza or Lucy?" Happy questioned, nibbling on a fish.

"Cause." You said contently, closing your eyes.

"Cause?" Happy repeated, discontented.

"Cause," you turned your head away from Happy. "I wanted to stay with you guys." You answered, instinctively trying to hide your face from the cat.

Happy began to snicker.

"Huh?" You mumbled, turning to face him.

"You looOOOoooOOove him~" He teased.

"I DO NOT CAT!!" You raged, quickly sitting up to throw a sandal at the flying Happy.

However, Happy dodged it, causing it to 'fwap' Natsu in the face.

"Oops." You said nonchalantly, knowing that it didn't hurt him, but he probably wasn't going to let that slide.

However, a red blush colored your cheeks as you stared at the shirtless Natsu- other than his scarf of course.

"She's in LOOooOOOooove~" Happy whispered at some kinda non-existing camera.

It was now night time, the moon looming over the shack.

After a 'playful' fist fight between you and Natsu, Natsu plopped into his bed as Happy flew to his. You began cleaning off the couch.

The rest of the shack looked like a tornado ripped through.

"Hey ____.."

"Yeah?" You answered with a smile, still panting a bit, as the red in your cheeks from fighting a shirtless Natsu were now gone.

"Thanks..for coming...over...." Natsu mumbled as he dozed off to sleep on top of his blankets.

"??" You turned around to see him fast alseep. "Already?!"

You gave a little sigh.

"Typical.." You mumbled with a smile, thoughts trailing off- before quickly slapping a cheek with your hand.

"What am I thinking?!" You quietly scolded yourself.

After changing your usual top into a baggy t-shirt in your fave color and your bottoms into cute shorts that complimented your top, ( LOOKIN FAB GURL. ) you leaped onto the couch.

"Time for some good night sleep~!" You said dramatically with sparkling eyes.

"-OWW!!" You yelped loudly, causing Natsu and Happy to turn and toss for a moment.

"Are you kidding me?? I'd rather sleep on a rock!" You whispered to yourself, rubbing your poor back from the impact.

You looked around the room for cushions or pillows. But there was only the hard ones on the couch, and the one under Natsu's head.

"_____..."

You heard Happy mummble.

"What's wrong?..."

"THIS COUCH!! ITS LIKE SLEEPING ON A BOULDER!!" You yelled in a hushed tone.

"Then just go sleep in Natsu's bed..."

"Are you kidding?! NATSU'S sleeping there obviously!!" You said flustered.

"So?..g'night..." Happy dozed back to sleep,

leaving you flustered in the dark.

Okay, well, I mean, if I want to get any sleep, it looks like that's my only option. Besides, it's Natsu! Not like things could get awkward with him!

You thought, reassuring yourself as you made your way to Natsu's bed.

And besides! I can always just say Happy told me to since technically he did... I'll make sure to wake up early anyways! It'll be like this neeever happened.

You thought with a glimmer in your eye- because you know no one would ever let you live it down if they saw- as you began to push Natsu over,

but with no luck.

After much pushing you plopped onto the bed, however, there wasn't much room and your legs were dangling off the side.

"Greaatt." You mumbled sarcastically.

Suddenly, Natsu turned over, now facing you, and wrapped his arm around you waist.

"!!!" You froze as cheeks went red.

He pulled you closer so that your legs were no longer hanging off the bed.

WHATS HAPPENING??! Why does my face feel so hot?? A-and why is NATSU hugging me??! Did I wake him up??? OH NO OH NO OH-

Your impulsive thoughts were cut off when you heard Natsu say something in his sleep.

"Come on _____..."

He mumbled with a cheeky grin as your face turned red, thanks to your middle-of-the-night-sleep-deprived-imagination.

"Wow~!" A high pitched voice rang in the background.

No one seemed to notice though. Hm. Weird.

You thought for sure he was awake, but after a while of staying still- as well as sweating and internally freaking out- you realized that he was still asleep. ( If your curious, he was just dreaming about fighting the whole guild head on. :3 )

You also realized that now your arm was resting on his. Your cheeks turned from red to pink as you quietly panicked.

"Wow~!" The high pitched voice rang again.

And again no one seemed to hear it.

After calming down and contemplating, you finally gave in and decided to get some rest.

It was chilly, but Natsu was emitting a warm aura that very comforting and made you very sleepy...

"WAAAKE UPPP!!"

You heard someone yell before getting slapped in the face with something fish like.

"HAPPPYYY!!" You growled as you sat up.

"Hurry up sleepy head we don't wana be late!!" Happy said before flying off to a different room in the shack.

Mm, what happened...

You thought, rubbing your eyes. That's when you looked down and noticed that you were now under the blankets.

You processed that that means Natsu woke up before you, your cheeks turning red again as you tired to suppress another panic. ( ! AT THE DISC- )

"Hey _____."

You looked up to see Natsu putting on his vest.

"You better hurry and get dressed." He said seriously, but, you could have sworn there was a hint of pink on his cheeks.

"Y-yeah!" You stammered with a shaky smile as you dashed out of bed, grabbed your clothes, and ran past Natsu to the bathroom to get dressed-

Not noticing the half eyed look you were getting from a pink cheeked Natsu...

"Mm..."

Natsu mumbled as his eyes flickered open to the morning sunlight beaming through a window in the shack- and the top of your head.

"H-huh??!" He stammered, trying to remember when you decided to sleep on the bed.

"HAPPY... HAPPY.. HAPPY!!" He angrily whispered in an attempt not to wake you up, because of that, Happy didn't hear.

Natsu looked back at you, now noticing that his arms were wrapped around your waist, while your hands were between his cheek and the pillow.

"Wow~!" The same high pitched voice rang,

no one noticing it for the third time.

Natsu quietly panicked as he thought about what would happen if you woke up.

Then suddenly, he took a long look at your face,

a heavy shade of pink rising to his cheeks as he noticed a relaxed expression on your face.

After a moment, he decided to carefully get out and get ready for the day.

However, as he walked away, he noticed the goosebumps on your arm out of the corner of his eye.

He turned back and picked you up gently- very out of character for him- as he placed you under the blankets.

Fluffing the pillow, he started to question his weird behavior.

But that didn't stop him from subconsciously leaning in and kissing your forehead.

After a second, he realized just what he was doing and quickly pulled back with pink cheeks, looking around the room to see if anyone had seen him.

He was just about to give a sign of relief before he heard:

"You looOOOoooOOoove her~"

Natsu cringed just before a dose of anger shot through him.

"OH SO NOW YOU'RE AWAKE HUH??!!!"

"Uh oh."

"GET BACK HERE YOU COWARD!!!"

"No way!"

"WINGS ARE FOR CHUMPS!!!"
