My POV

Natsu caught his hand before he even touches Lucy. Lucy looks at him. She didn't expect that. " You guys... Should leave " He said. They all ran scared of him.

Later

It's evening now, the sun is setting now. Natsu is walking Lucy home, not saying a word. Lucy is walking a little bit ahead of Natsu. She heard a sniffle. She turned around and Natsu's crying, she felt bad. " Hey don't cry " She said. " I was so happy " He said. I don't get it, I wasn't sad when the bunny died. But now I see him sad, and I'm about to break down. What's wrong with me? She thought. She hugs him. He was a bit surprised. " Don't worry, it won't be long before your surrounded by lots of people " She said. Then let's go. " Okay, I'll try to go to school, if you go " He said. " Thats great! " Lucy said with a smile. " My heart is beating really fast " He said. " Eh? " She asked. " I think I like you " He said. " What?! You mean like a friend right? " She asked. " No I mean sexually! " He corrects her. Lucy backs up. " Your confused! It's like your happy that you have a real friend and think you like me " She said. " So if I make more friends then you will believe me? " He asked. " Er, yeah " She said. " My feelings won't change. I will always love you " He said.

My first love confession. In the season of spring

The next day

Lucy walked into the courtyard, Natsu was waiting for her. " L-luce! Your here! I'm so nervous that my legs won't move! " He said. " Why are you actually here? " She asked through gritted teeth.

A month later

" Luce help! " Natsu said. Lucy turns to see Natsu has a boy by his shirt, the boy has a bloody nose. And the others were knocked out. " They tried to rob me! They told me to give them all my money " He said. Lucy just walks away.

A few hours later

" You should take me to eat monja! " He said. " No! " She said. He chased her around yelling 'monja'. And now Lucy is hanging out with Natsu. " Hey Lucy! " A girl said. Natsu turned around to see lisanna. She shakes. " I don't like you, get lost " He said. " You should join her " Lucy said. " What? " Natsu asked grabbing Lucy shirt. They glared at each other. " Ano! No! Don't treat girls like that Here Natsu borrow my book " She said. " 'Then he wrapped his arms around me in a warm embrace and my heart started to pound'..." He read. He wraps his arms around Lucy's shoulders. Lucy blushed. Was he really serious? She thought, remember his confession.

In class

" Teach what does it mean to treat someone with care? " He asked. " It means to be considerate " He answers. " What's considerate? " He asked. " Be nice " The teacher said.

After class

Everyone else is gone outside for free period, while Lucy and Natsu stay inside. Lucy stays studying. Natsu is looking out the window. " I bet they hang out and go eat together " He said looking at a pair of friends. " It's not just about monja, I want to hang out with you, like friends do " He said. " I have to study so please be quiet " She said. " Why do you always study? Instead of having fun! " He said. " I have to make good grades, so I can be the top. Last time the best one wasn't me. And I have to make sure it's me this year " She said. He sighed. " This answer is wrong " He said. " It should be b=4 not b=8 " He said. Lucy was shocked, but then remembers the first year speaker.

The next day

Lucy closes her locker. " Hey Luce! Why did you go home without telling me? " Natsu asked. " Until midterms are over, you are my enemy, I have to study " She said, then walks away. " I don't get what's so special about studying, every problem has a solution, it's easy " He said. She stopped for a second, then runs away.

The next day

Lucy is walking while reading a book, and someone grabs her, and brings her to a room. There were two other boys, and two girls. the people that tried to robbed Natsu... She thought. " I am Sakura, your a first year?" One of the girls asked. " Want some chips? " The other asked. " Do you mind if I study? " She asked. " Eh? Sure " The boy said. Lucy starts to study.

With Natsu

Lucy wasn't in that class, and she is always there. There were only a few others in there. " Hey! Where is Luce? " He asked. " I know " One boy said. Natsu stood up real quick. " Where? " He asked.

With Lucy

She is studying, and Natsu busts through the door. " Natsu? " She asked. " Hey you! " He grabbed the guy. " Stop, let's go " Lucy said grabbing Natsu's arm. He pushed her down, and she bruised her knee, and ankle. Natsu starts to fight the other guy. " I'm done playing this stupid game " Lucy said. Natsu stops when he was about to punch the guy. " I'm done with this 'friendship' " She said then limps out.

Over the next days Natsu and Lucy have been a bit sadder.

Lucy stands in front of the chart. She got the highest score. Yes!... She thought. She got first, but wasn't happy for some reason.

In Igneel shop

" You shouldn't get into so many fights Natsu " He said. Natsu ignored him. The door open, and Lucy walks in. " Oh hi " Igneel said. She shows her paper to Natsu. " So what? You come to rub it in? " He asked. " I thought you hate me so why are you here? " He asked. " ... I... I don't. I don't hate you " She said. " Your my friend. So- so I don't hate you " She said.

The next day

They are in the library, and Natsu is being quiet while Lucy is studying. She turns to him. " Your being quiet, why? " She asked. " Well you care about studying, and I care about you, so I care about studying too " He said. So that's what 'treat with care' means she thought. Natsu lays his head down on the table. Lucy closes her book and puts them in her bag. " Where are you going? " Natsu asked. " I'm gonna take you to eat monja " She said. Natsu perks up.

Outside the library

" I thought you wanted to study " He said. " Well, you looked happy when you asked me for it before, and we are friends, and friends make each other happy " She said. Natsu grabs her waist and kissed her. Lucy blushed deeper, and deeper as the kiss went on. He let go, and Lucy is in complete shock. He reads the book. " 'We kissed and my heart fluttered'... " He read out loud. " Weird, my heart was beating out of my chest before but now it's not " He said. Then he puts the book away. " Oh well, it doesn't matter because I still love you " He said. Then continued walking. " Hurry up! Dont forget about the monja " He said. Lucy snapped out of it and then rushed to catch up with him.
