Almost every day there are moments when we awaken, if only to some small degree, out of our internal chatter and into the present moment. When that happens, the world becomes vivid and luminous. Write about one such moment in a brief poem. Let it transform itself into a song of joy to the world. Keep it simple, detailed, specific, and grounded in concrete description. Be careful NOT to get abstract, cliché, grandiose, or philosophical.
