Few months later it's May and the weather is more warm than ever. The relationship between (y/n) and Nathaniel is getting stronger. One day they are at the park sitting in front of a tree under its shadows, Phoenix is watching them in discuss. He runs off to the river where Notre dame is, he runs to the front door and sits in front of hugging his legs. Feeling alone, isolated, and disappointment.

"Why can't you love me (y/n)... I can treat you so much better... I'm the best there is... And i... I HATE YOU NATHANIEL! (Y/N) IS SUPPOSED TO BE WITH ME!!!"

It's been 5 minutes during a little fresh air. The (h/c) girl walk home as parents are gone at work as usual. She made some apple pie and set it on the window it'll cool down faster. She notice the sky is starting to go dark like there's a storm approaching. A black smoke comes through the open window and make its way to the living room. (Y/n) follows the flowing cloud wondering why is is automatically moving by itself. It stops at the center of the room where the TV is at w/ the fireplace, and it turns into a dark dressed boy w/ red glowing eyes.

"Hello (y/n)~" He greets in a deep voice.

"Who are you?! How do you know my name?!?!"

"Do you know a bad boy that attended late in your school? And you reject him for a ginger?"

"Phoenix?!" (y/n) scream in shock.

"Yes. But, for now I'm the demon of the shadows. If you can't love me... Then I'll force you!" He blows some red dust from his palm to (y/n). The dust around the girl turns to chains, wrapping her wrists and neck. She struggles as Phoenix has the rest of the chains and pulls her to the ground like she's a dog. He walks to her and puts his finger on her chin, and force her to look up.

"Now let me be absolutely clear, you are going to love me whether you like it or not. Now I'm gonna have some playtime with ladybug and chat noir. The I'll be back to make you my queen." So he flys off, leaving (y/n) in the dark since Phoenix turn all the lights off. She lays on the floor, curls into a ball, and begin to cry.

"P-please... Someone stop him... Someone set me free..."

"You will not get away with this Phoenix! We always win! And you'll be a changed person as soon we get that akuma!"

"Sorry to break it to you little lady but that's what you think!" Phoenix scolds.

"EXCUSE ME?!?!? No one is allow to call my girlfriend "little lady" except me!!!" chat noir shouted as he charged to him attacking him.

Ladybug remembers in school (as Marinette) that Phoenix has been wearing this choker saying it's precious to him, and it's a gift from his father before he passed away. She's thinking that could be where the akuma is at.

Ladybug activate her lucky charm getting ready how to snatch the choker out of his neck.

Meanwhile Nathaniel is at (y/n)'s house trying to find a way how to get in. As an order from ladybug.

*Flashback before Nath shows up*

Nathaniel has been trying to call (y/n) about 20 times already but no answer. She always answers. He had a strong feeling that something's not right. His room has become dark from his window, runs to it, opens it, and he sees dark clouds coming. He runs outside to get a better look and he sees a cloud flowing down in front of him and there's a dark guy standing on it.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the ginger boy."

"Who are you? What are you doing?"

"Just wanna make sure you're alright."

"I'm fine."

"Good. But not for long." He takes out a sword and about to strike his target as Nath covers himself getting ready to die. When Phoenix is about to strike, his black color sword is snatch by a yo-yo. He turns to who took away his weapon and there's The supers.

"Ladybug, chat noir. Whata lovely surprise."

"Yeah you bet, cause we're about to give YOU darkness as you give it to us." chat noir smirks mocking him.

"Whatever, at least I can deal with Nathaniel after I'm done with you and ladybug." So Phoenix flys after chat noir. Before ladybug can go after them, Nathaniel stop her.

"Ladybug wait!" She turns around and wonder why he call her.

"(Y/n) hasn't been answering my calls. I think Phoenix trap her in her house. What should I do?"

"Go to her house and make sure she's fine. I gotta go, be careful." The ladybug theme superhero swings off using her yo-yo. Nathaniel calls out "Thank you!" and runs off.

Nathaniel goes around the house until he sees a window open with a pie in front of it. He notice a stool that looks like it's unused, covered in vines and dirt. Probably forgotten by the other owners of the house when they moved away. Nathaniel picks it up, unfolds it and climbs up to the window. He slides the pie to the other side and push his way through. He fell from the kitchen sink to the floor making a loud bump.

(Y/n) in on the floor tired of trying to get out of the cuffs that's attached to the chain. Until she hears a bump.

"Hello?" She call out. "Is someone there?"

"(Y/n)?"

"Nathaniel!"

He runs to her voice. When he arrive to the living room, he gasp in shock. Nathan sees his girlfriend curl into a ball, covered in cuffs with chains. He runs to her and they give each other a strong, tight embrace. But can't exactly hug because the chains are heavy and (y/n)'s muscles hurt.

Suddenly, a bunch of red, glowing, and sparkling bugs show up out of nowhere and they make the chains vanish. They give each other kiss while really wrapping their arms around each other.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah."
