Y/N's POV

It's morning. I just woke up, with Natasha lying peacefully on my left. She had an arm wrapped around my waist and another tangled in my hair. I turned around to face her. She was slightly snoring which I found really cute. Her fiery red hair was stuck onto her forehead due to sweat, her nose was scrunched up and her lips were pressed together.

I brushed my fingers across her face and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek. She started to lightly stir and I whispered, "Morning, Tasha." Natasha groaned and shut her eyes tight. I continued, "C'mon, we missed training... the others are probably worried." She whined, "Noo, I wanna sleep." I said, "It's 9 am." Natasha quickly got up and ran out the door, with me closely following behind her.

I've been in this goddamn training room for the past 8 hours with no break. "Y/N, we were super late, so we needed to make up the time," Natasha would say every time I would complain. I had limited food (Natasha made me share a banana with her) and a single bottle of water. Endless exercising, sweat and tears are most definitely not worth it, trust me.

By 5 pm today, Natasha FINALLY let me go. I ran to the kitchen, grabbed some snacks and dumped it on Natasha's bed before texting Natasha to come to her room. When she arrived, she asked, "What is this for?" I held my hands out and said, "It's for you!" Natasha stood there for a second before going to her closet. "I've gotta go take a shower, as should you."

Natasha's POV

Y/N went to take a shower while I was and surprisingly, she got out pretty fast. I was about to simply check out what snacks she got, when she walked in the room in shock. "NOO! Don't touch it." I stepped back as Y/N hugged me and said, "It's all for you, Nattie!" I sat her down on my bed and sat next to her as she instantly cuddled into my side. "You didn't ask," I said as I smiled down at her. She quickly moved away from me as she looked down sadly.

I grabbed her waist and pulled her back towards me. I kissed her forehead as I said, "You don't need to ask permission. I was just messing with you." I turned on the movie K-12. Y/N looked up at me and I nodded. "I know you wanna rewatch it, don't you?" She smiled and said, "Yes please, Nattie."

After finishing watching the movie, I managed to somehow make some scrambled eggs for the two of us. Y/N was eating with a big smile and then she said, "You want some?" I grabbed the fork from her hands and as I took a bite, I hummed in pleasure before saying, "This tastes good, doesn't it?" She nodded her head and kissed my cheek saying, "Congrats on your first successful meal. I'm proud of you, Nattie. You should cook for me more often."

She laid her head on my lap as I started to scroll through my phone with one hand and playing with Y/N's hair with the other hand. After a couple of minutes of silence, I thought Y/N was asleep until I heard her sigh and say, "Nat? What exactly are we?" I looked down at her temporarily before going back to my phone, saying, "We're Avengers, silly." Y/N's hand slithered up my arm like a snake and grabbed my phone away from my hands before asking, "I'm being serious, what are we? What are we in relationship terms?" I kissed her forehead before saying, "We're two best friends who fell in love with each other and who are still on the dating stage."

Y/N looked up at me with adoration in her eyes as she said, "Cute." She pulled me further under the duvet covers and hugged me tight as she said, "Cuddles?" I held her as I stared at the ceiling, imagining what our future had planned for us.
