"Holy shit..." I said.

   The rest of the men pulled flashlights of their own, shinning them into the room.

   Pallets stacked high with gold lined the room, chunks of marble and clay laid scattered on the floor. Remnants of ancient statues now destroyed. I felt my heart sink at the sight.

   Heidi gave the men an order in German before taking my arm, leading me back towards the others. "Come, your job here is done."

   As we made it back into the main room, my eyes widened. Klaus stood in front of a group of men, pistol pointed at Noel and Kali. "I should've known..."

   Klaus turned to me, a devious smile spreading on his lips. "Don't beat yourself up, wealth can blind the best of us."

   A few men tied my hands behind my back before forcing me down to my knees next to Noel and Kali.

   "We found the gold." Heidi said.

   "Get the loading team down there at once. We have a schedule to keep." Klaus said.

   Heidi saluted him before leading a group of men back down the hallway.

   "Considering the hardware you guys are packing, I'm guessing you're not just looking for an easy payday." I said.

   "You assume correctly." Klaus replied.

   "What are your plans, then?" Noel asked.

   Klaus let out a chuckle. "I assumed that was obvious... This was to be the beginnings of the fourth reich. However, for some reason or another, it never came to fruition. So, now that we have the funding, I guess we'll be picking up where they left off."

   I rolled my eyes. "Fucking Nazi's... You guys just never learn, do you?"

   "You'd think one ass kicking would be enough." Kali added.

   Klaus smirked. "We will see who gets their asses kicked this time."

   Just then, Heidi reentered the room, the loading team behind her.

   We all looked on as they pushed carts full of gold towards the entrance.

   "Holy shit." Noel said.

   "That's what I said." I added.

   "To bad we'll never get our hands on it." Kali finished.

"Get it loaded on the trucks! We're out of here in ten minutes!" Klaus called out.

He turned his attention to Kali afterwards. "Come, my dear."

Kali spit at his feet. "Bite me."

Heidi grabbed a handful of her hair, hauling Kali up to her feet. "It was not a suggestion."

She pushed Kali towards the entrance. "Move."

I quickly got to my feet. "Let her go!"

Klaus pointed his pistol at me. "Down."

I gritted my teeth, slowly sinking back down to my knees. "You won't get away with this."

He smirked, gesturing to two men. "After we have gone... Kill them."

Noel squeezed her eyes shut. "Nat, what do we do? I don't wanna die, Nat."

"Ta-ta." Klaus said, leaving us with the two men.

"Nat!" Noel yelled, the two men approaching us.

"I got it!" I yelled back, quickly getting to my feet, launching my forehead into the first man's nose before swinging my leg around, catching the second in the side of the head.

Noel looked on in shock as both men collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

"Wow... You're good..." Noel said.

I knelt down next to one of the men, pulling his knife, cutting through my restraints. "Turn around."

Noel did so and I cut her restraints as well.

She rubbed her wrists as I dropped the knife, pulling my pistol. "Here, you're gonna need this."

Noel gingerly took the gun in her hands. "Ok... You're right... Just point and shoot right? It's easy..."

I grabbed one of the mens assault rifles. "Right, safety's right there. Now, c'mon."

Kali and I made our way down to the foot of the mountain, where a motorcycle and sidecar awaited us.

I hopped in the sidecar. "You're driving."

Noel swung her leg over the motorcycle, starting it up. "I'm gonna need a crash course."

"It's simple, one down, the rest up. Don't forget to pull the clutch for each shift." I said.

Noel gave it some gas, pulling the clutch as she shifted down, letting out a little yelp as the bike lurched forward.

"They're just ahead of us, pick up the pace!" I called over the engine.

Noel gave it more gas, shifting into the next gear, carrying us towards a row of military style trucks.

The one on the end had six men inside, each armed to the teeth.

I crouched in the sidecar. "Get me next to it."

Unluckily for us, the men noticed us and opened fire.

Noel ducked, swerving the bike to the right.

"I need to be on the other side!" I called, returning fire.

Noel took in a deep breath. "Alright, here we go!"

She swerved hard, taking us to the other side of the truck, narrowly avoiding the hail of gunfire.

I took aim, squeezing the trigger, dropping two of the men.

Noel got us to the other side and I turned to her. "I'll be right back." I said, giving her a quick kiss before standing straight up, eyeing the side of the truck.

"Here we go..." I said as I jumped from the motorcycle to the truck, grabbing at anything that could support me.

Once I was steady, I jumped into the back, tackling one of the men to the floor.

I pulled his pistol, shooting the other three quickly before putting a bullet in the first man's chest.

Noel swerved back behind the truck. I reached my hand out towards her. "C'mon! Take my hand!"

She stood up on the seat of the bike, jumping for my hand.

I grabbed hers, pulling her into the back of the truck with me.

We landed hard, her on top of me.

She blew her hair out of her face. "Don't ask me to do that again, understand?"

I kissed her. "No promises."

We sat up then, coming face to face with two pallets full of gold.

Noel took a bar from the stack. "Wow... It's so shiny..."

I stood up, walking to the back of the truck. "Stay here."

She watched as I pulled myself up onto the fabric roof, pulling myself towards the cab.

Two men sat inside, seemingly unaware of my presence. I stood up on the roof of the cab, pointing my assault rifle down, squeezing the trigger.

The truck swerved and I lost my footing, falling over the side.

I grabbed the door handle on my way down, hanging from the side of the truck as it continued to swerve wildly.

I pulled the door open, yanking the driver out of the truck before taking his seat, kicking the passenger out of the other door.

Three more trucks stood in front of me, if I had to guess, Kali was in the lead truck.

I reached behind me, opening the rear window. "Noel, I need you up here."

She squeezed through the window, hopping in the passenger seat.

   "Take the wheel, I'm going for the next truck..."
