Natalia's POV

"There you go miss, a difficult day for you I'm sure" Estrella states as she puts the second bed warmer under Elizabeth's mattress. With the resent pirate threat Father has moved me back into Elizabeth's room until the pirate is killed.

"Yes, I didn't expect for the commodore to propose" Elizabeth states closing her book.

"I meant you being threatened by that pirate, it sounds terrifying" Estrella tells her.

"Well he's locked away now and will face the gallows" I state putting my book down.

"True, but the commodore proposed" Estrella states and looks back at Elizabeth. "Fancy that. That's a smart match miss, if it isn't to bold to say" she tells her.

"It is a smart match, he's a fine man" Elizabeth states with a sigh.

"Want about Will?" I ask her and she shoots me a playful glare while I giggle.

"Will Turner?" Estrella asks me and I nod my head. "He's a fine man too" she tells Elizabeth.

"That is to bold" Elizabeth tells her.

"Begging your pardon miss, it was not my place" Estrella states and leaves the room.

"Honestly lighten up Elizabeth, it was just a bit of fun" I tell her. "So want did you tell Norrington when he asked for your hand?" I ask. We were lying on our sides so we could talk to each other.

"I fell before I could answer him" she states.

"That bloody corset, if you ever wear one again I'll kill you myself" I tell her.

"You love me to much to kill me" she says confidently and I laugh nodding my head. "We had best get some sleep, you know how Estrella gets if we don't get enough sleep" she reminds me. Making me laugh at the memory where I had stayed up all night and Estrella gave me a long lecture about beauty sleep.

"Good night Elizabeth" I say closing my eyes.

"Good night Natalia" was the last thing I heard before sleep took me.

(Later that same night) Still Natalia's POV

We woke up to the sound of cannon fire and screams from outside. I run to the window as I put my robe on and Elizabeth sat up in bed. "What's going on?" she asks.

"Pirates are invading Port Royal, I wish Will had finished my sword" I state grabbing my daggers. "Stick close to me Elizabeth" I tell her as we exit our room. The door bell rang and one of the butlers went to open it.

"No, don't!" Elizabeth and I shouted. But it was to late the pirates shoot him making Elizabeth scream. I grab her hand dragging her back to our room where we saw Estrella.

"They've come to kidnap you" she tells Elizabeth.

"They believe you are father's only daughter" I state when I see her confused look. "Estrella they haven't seen you yet, hide and the first chance you get run to the fort" I tell her. "Elizabeth Bed warmers" I say quietly and we get them. She hits the first pirate and second one caught the bed warmer before she could hit him. But he didn't see me and I got him with mine.

"Run Elizabeth go" I tell her and we run from the room. I notice Estrella make it out the front door as the pirate I hit landed in front of Elizabeth and I. Elizabeth caught my attention and pointed upwards and I looked up. As the chandelier fell we made our move and barricaded the door to the kitchen.

"Hide quickly" I tell her as she tried to remove a sword from the display on the wall. We hid in the cupboard and I took out one of my daggers leaving the other one hidden. Just then we heard the doors bang open and I placed a finger to my lips signaling for her to be quiet.

"We know you're here poppets, come out" a mans voice tells us. "We promise we won't hurt you, the gold calls to us" the same voice states. I look at Elizabeth to see her playing with the pirate medallion.

"Parley, we invoc the right of Parley" Elizabeth states when the doors suddenly open.

"You better know want you are doing Elizabeth" I state handing over my dagger, but not my hidden one. We were then taken to the beach by the two pirates then pushed into a long boat. As the pirates rowed back to the ship I know to be 'The Black Pearl'  I looked back at Port Royal.

"We're playing princess and maid, you are the princess. Follow my lead" Elizabeth whispers to me and I nod my head in agreement. Once we reached the ship the pirates boarded first while another helped Elizabeth and I aboard. A dark skinned pirate comes forth and says he didn't know we were taking on captives.

"They've invoked the right of Parley with Captain Barbossa" the balding pirate states. Elizabeth stepped forward and started to speak when the dark skinned pirate back handed her.

"How dare you hit my servant" I snarl taking a step forward and he went to hit me. But a hand shot out grabbing him by his wrist. I turn my head to see an older man with a monkey on his shoulder wearing a pirate hat and figured he's the captain.

"You will not harm those under the protection of Parley" the captain states.

"Aye sir" the pirate replies and the captain lets go of his arm.

"Apologies Miss" the captain tells me.

"It is not me you should be apologizing to, but my maid" I state pointing to Elizabeth. "She wishes to speak to you" I tell him.

"Of course, want is it you want?" he asks her.

"I am here to negotiate cessation of hostilities against Port Royal" she states.

"A lot of big words miss we are nothing but humble pirates" the captain states.

"She means we want you to leave and never come back" I tell him.

"I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request, means no" he tells us.

"Very well, I'll drop it" Elizabeth states holding the medallion over the side. One of the pirates went to grab me, but I took out my hidden dagger cutting his arm. I backed up to stand by Elizabeth with my dagger at the ready.

"What makes you think that matters to us?" Captain Barbossa asks.

"It's want you have been searching for" I state. "I recognize this ship, I saw eight years ago on the crossing from England" I explain. "Though I suppose if it is worthless, there is no point in my maid keeping it" I state giving Elizabeth a nod. As she slowly lets go of the medallion the pirates move saying 'no'. I grab the medallion before it could fall completely smirking at the pirates.

"How does a maid come to own a trinket like that, family heirloom?" he asks Elizabeth.

"I didn't still it if that's want you mean" Elizabeth tells him.

"Do you have a name Miss?" he asks.

"My name is Elizabeth Turner, I'm a maid in the governors household" Elizabeth tells him.

"That'd make you?" he asks me.

"The governors daughter yes and she is my hand maiden & decoy for my protection" I state.

"Very well, you hand us the medallion and we'll put your town to our redder. And never return" he promises me. So I hand it for him and he starts giving orders to set sail.

"Our bargain?" Elizabeth asks. "Wait you have to take us to shore" she states.

"She's right, according to the Code of the Order of the Brethren..." I start saying.

"First, your return to shore was not part of our negotiations nor our agreement, so I must do nothing. And secondly, you must be a pirate for the Pirate's Code to apply, and you're not. And thirdly, the Code is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules. Welcome aboard the Black Pearl, Miss Turner and Miss Governess" Barbossa tells us.

We were taken to our own room instead of the brig. Where we were locked in and I turned to glare at my sister after realizing there is no other way out. "This is all your fault and now we're hostages, why did you give them that name?" I demand quietly.

"If I hadn't they'd still be attacking Port Royal searching for Will" she replies.

"If we make it out of this alive, I'll kill you myself" I tell her. Then sit down on the tables trying to think of something I could use as a weapon or a way we could escape.

"I promise I won't let anything happen to you" she assures me giving me a hug.

"Same goes to you" I say returning the hug.
