We made it to the locker room. I could sense that all of the players had calmed down enough to think. At least, I hoped that this was true. My sister leans over and whispers to me, "You can speak to them. They'll like you more. Also, this is your speciality."

I stepped near the logo on the floor, but not close enough to touch it. After all, I wasn't going to be the one breaking the superstitions. "Listen up!". I yelled at my loudest volume. The players had no idea that I could be that loud, considering they all jumped at the sound of my voice. "Kristina and I are going to get all of you out of here. It isn't safe for all of you to be here."

The players were either too shocked or scared to respond, all except for the captain himself, Shea Weber. "How exactly are you going to lead us out of here?"

I pointed towards the door leading to the parking area, "Go through there. I walked through there just fine a while ago."

"But that's the point! That was where the...thing attacked Kay." Weber did have a good point.

"Then it ran after spotted. It probably won't go back to that area." I pointed to my sister, "Plus, my sister and I will defend you. We will all go at once. Tina will man the front, I'll man the back. Get ready to run."

The response from Weber was, "Are you really a trainer and secretary?"

As I walked out, "You'll just have to find out."

My sister and I then walked out of the area. I told her, "Yell if anything comes up. The back will be where the beast attacks. You'll be fine."

"Thanks Shannon. Or, should I call you Tris?"She was mocking me even in this situation.

"Tris, it sounds more Dauntless." I laughed.

Weber shouted to us, "We are ready!"

Tina walked in and said to me, "May the odds..."

"Be ever in your favor!". To her. I walked in behind her, and saw everyone ready to run the Maze to the cars. They were scared, but weren't showing it.

I walked to my friend Kay to go help him out, "You ready?"

Kay responded, "As ready as I'll ever be." And that was when Tina started to lead the Preds out of the arena.  I took a deep breath and followed the rest of the players out.

Little did I realize the dangers that waited ahead for me.
