Kristina was the point, with Weber and the alternate captains, Fisher and Neal, right beside her. I was able to create a silver sword for her, just in case anything would happen up front and I couldn't get to her right away. I was in the back with Kay and the two goalies, Rinne and Hutton.

"So, what exactly do you think we are running from?" Rinne questioned me. "The whole team is kinda scared of whatever that was."

I thought about my answer while looking at Kay,"I can't tell you what I think it is, because I have no idea myself. What I can tell you is that the thing is strong enough to take down a hockey player, and it must be supernatural."

"That's all you know?"

"Well, I can elimate the possibilities of a ghost, because a ghost would be in the state of when it died. It isn't a demon, because demons wouldn't dare to attack when you're near an Angel."

"And how many supernatural bad guys are there?"

"Many more than you can even think of. And before you ask, whatever you have seen in the movies and television shows is real."

Rinne was quiet after that last comment. Hutton was just watching ahead for any danger, and Kay was struggling to even walk. I was fearful of what to come. I saw the entrance to the parking lot, and thought, What could possibly go wrong?

Suddenly, I heard a tiger sounding growl. I turned around and saw the sabertooth tiger that attacked Kay. I immediately pulled out my Angel Blade. Kay had stopped walking. Rinne and Hutton were acting like bodyguards for him.

I tell Rinne and Hutton, "Try to get yourselves out of here."

Kay was somehow cohesive enough to understand me, "What do you want us to do to protect the team?"  That was the moment the tiger charged.

"Take them outside and run! Don't look back, no matter what you hear! You hear me?" I turned towards the charging beast.
I didn't ever hear a response from the three players. I turned around to make sure they heard me, and the only thing I saw was the two goalies and my friend in between them running away. My sister was hopefully outside.

I turned towards the beast. When I turned was the moment it pounced on me. I tried to get my Angel Blade into the creature, to kill it, but the creature was too strong for me. The creature batted me a few times to my head with his paws.  After the third blow, I was knocked out cold on the cold concrete.
