EIGHT. plan #626: getting austin to get charlotte back officially

TWO WORDS. Kira Starr.

Actually a lot of words.

okay No one could prepare themselves for how Kira Starr had completed shifted the relationship between Charlotte and Austin in a matter of seconds.

Kira laced her arms around her new boyfriend, per se, Austin, as he glanced down between Charlotte and Kira.

"Oh, uh... I guess that's the answer to the question I asked you yesterday." Austin emphasized, rushing to Charlotte's side.

"Congratulations on the relationship, Kira." Charlotte smiled, "You two make a lovely couple."

"Charlotte-"

"Uh, I was actually supposed to um, take... take..." She stammered.

Carter slid next to Charlotte, "Carter."

"Carter!" She pointed, "Take Carter to my house for a sleepover. Don't wanna miss a sleepover." She held a toothy smile, "Trish, Ally, do you want to sleep over?"

"Yes." Ally smiled, taking Charlotte's hand and pulling her away from the scene.

Carter rested his hand on Austin's shoulder, "Can't wait to wipe the tears from Char's face as we watch this very, very sad movie."

Carter hit Austin's shoulder twice and with Trish following behind, they followed behind a girl whose feelings just seemed to come in at the wrong time.

THE NEXT day, Charlotte, more so Carter, tried his best to have Charlotte avoid Austin Moon to the best of her ability.

"Look, Austin and Kira are together... again." Charlotte said, "There's nothing we can do about that."

"There's nothing you can do about it. But there's something I will do about it." Carter said.

Charlotte stifled a laugh and grabbed his arm, "I'm sad, okay. Is that what you want me to say? I like him and he asked Kira to be his girlfriend... again. I'll move on."

Carter sighed, holding Charlotte's shoulders as he watched her with careful eyes.

Charlotte could hide her emotions. She'd done it before with Austin and she'd done it before with Carter. It was nothing new, but Carter was her best friend. Sometimes he could pinpoint when she was angry, sad, upset, happy, he knew Charlotte.

She knew she was upset, she really liked Austin and if Austin and Kira were a couple... there wasn't anything that she could do about them.

"Charlotte, I love you, but you I absolutely hate Austin Moon right now."

"Hate him all you want. I like him and he has a girlfriend." Charlotte sighed, "Now, let's get Mini's."

With a small groan, Carter and Charlotte headed to Mini's.

"Hey, Charlotte!"

The two of them turned around and saw Austin and Dez surrounded by a nearby table.

She gently waved as the two of them headed towards the duo.

"Do you guys wanna be alone?" Dez asked.

"Uh, yeah. Kinda." Austin answered.

"Cool." Dez sighed, "There's nobody sitting at that table over there."

Carter gently patted Charlotte shoulder and sat across with Dez.

"So... Did you see Dez's French fry building?" Austin asked, sitting across from Charlotte, "I call it the frie-ffel tower! It was funnier when I said it earlier."

"Okay... let's just talk about it. I like you, Austin. We kissed, I liked it, and now you have a girlfriend." She said, "We can be friends. The kiss never happened."

"I can't pretend it never happened. Charlotte, I wanna be with you."

"You broke up with Kira?"

"Well, no. Not yet."

"You know I'll always support you. Friends... or not. Bye, Austin."

Charlotte gave him one last fleeting smile before leaving him alone at the table. Carter stood from his seat with Dez, and joined Charlotte's side.

Austin sighed. He really did like Charlotte and he knew that if he wanted to be with her, he had to take matters into his own hands.

AUSTIN'S HANDS seemed to be extremely full.

Breaking up with Kira seemed to be way more complicated than it appeared to be.

Try after try, Austin's efforts to break up with Kira didn't work. From a plan with her father, to the apparent jackhammer incident. Nothing worked... until it did.

Austin managed to break up with Kira in a peaceful manner... okay, not so peaceful. She yelled at him, called him names, but he could understand why she would do so, and even after the yelling, Kira agreed to be friends with him after everything.

Too bad Megan Simms had to be in close proximity when Kira and Austin shared a hug the day before.

Charlotte would've never known about the magazine of Carter hadn't shown her.

"It's officially over." Austin smiled, "Kira is out of the picture."

"Really?"

Carter approached the duo. He stood behind Charlotte and held the magazine in front of her face.

She held the magazine in her hands and looked down at the cover, she quipped her lip to the side and passed the magazine to Austin, leaving him alone with the utter shock that he didn't leave the situation as easily as he thought.

School was worse. Charlotte avoided Austin to the best of her ability. She avoided him in the halls at school, she wouldn't stop by Sonic Boom as much. If she sensed Austin would be there she wouldn't go.

Things only seemed to get worse for Austin as he crashed Ally's big "getting over stage fright" party and utterly embarrassed himself and Charlotte in the mince of it.

But something shifted.

Charlotte stood outside of Sonic Boom. She heard the doors open, glancing back, she saw Austin standing close by.

He sighed, holding a small smile, "Hey."

"Hi."

"I'm sorry for... all of that back at the food court."

"I don't think you should apologize to me for destroying a cake that wasn't mine."

Austin chuckled, "Any reason why you're outside instead of enjoy a party I completely destroyed."

"Fresh air." She smiled, "Thinking mainly."

Austin soon joined her side, he held his hands in his pockets and rocked back and forth on his heels.

There was no plan at this point. Whatever Austin was "planning" it was something he winging.

"I really did break up with Kira." He said, "I like you, Charlotte."

She faced him. Her face seemed almost... unreadable. Austin felt as if he had lost every chance with Charlotte.

"Do you remember what you said when I asked you out for the first time?"

"I said no."

"Then you asked me out and I said no."

"I deserved that."

"Why'd you ask me out after you rejected me?"

Austin stayed silent for a moment. He knew, he just never thought he would be confessing it. It wasn't anything embarrassed whatsoever.

"You're confident." He answered, "When people wanted to go out with me, it was because of how I looked, but you were different."

"You're a good looking guy, Austin."

"So are you." He stammered, "You're a good looking- you're very pretty."

Charlotte smiled, "You know why I broke up with you?" Austin stood in silence, "You said you would show up to my competitions and never did."

Austin furrowed his brows, "I always had Dez record your competitions when I didn't go. I always watched. Even if I wasn't there to see it in person."

Charlotte held her eyes shut for a moment. Her whole life she saw herself helping other people. She wanted to be a doctor, a pediatrician, anything, because she was passionate about it. Austin knew that. Austin knew how much becoming something- becoming a hero meant something to Charlotte.

"Do you think we're better at communicating now?" Charlotte asked.

"No."

"Do you think we can get better at communicating?"

"Yes."

Charlotte glanced up at him, "Ask me."

"Really?"

She held a small smile and nodded.

"Will you go out with me... again?"

Charlotte glanced down at his hand, she gently grabbed his hand, intertwining their hands together.

"You look nervous." She smiled, a hush voice leaving her.

She looped her one arm over his shoulders and tugged him closer.

"I think I am." Austin confessed, his quiet whisper mimicking hers.

"Why?"

"I don't wanna mess up."

Charlotte smiled, "You're not." She pushed yourself forward and pressing her lips against his.

Austin could feel himself smiling into the kiss.

After trails and tribulations, Austin Moon had officially gotten his girl back.

- lucy has something to say!!

woooooah HI HOW ARE YOU

damn charlotte is HELLA gentle
"she gently" ITS OKAY TO BE AGGRESSIVE... she can't 😔

please remember that austin and ally is a show that doesn't really follow a straight plot line

example: the plot of the show is about austin becoming a rock star that's it. there's an A plot and a B plot like most shows have and i, the author, have to come up with a somewhat c plot to make the chapter or story flow :)

so tldr; austin and ally isn't like a drama show such as riverdale or anything so i have to change a lot of stuff to make my story work and to work for my liking :)

(ask me to update the day i update i dare you i fucking dare you)

bye :))))
