So my good friend _izoy_  requested this one! I hope we can get even closer!! (PS: Shika is one of my Favorite Characters)
*This is a Modern AU (Modern Alternate Universe) so there is Modern stuff included that the ninja world didn't have back then*

Shikamaru POV:
It was a lazy day... no missions to go on... nothing to do... "what a drag" I thought aloud. I had nothing to do so I was walking around Konoha aimlessly. Until... I felt a presence behind me... I turned around and no one was there... I knew something was up and kept walking, being cautious of my surroundings.

Izzy POV:
I was walking around town, enjoying the view until I saw a pineapple head friend walking down the street. *Shikkkaaaa* I mentally screamed, us being best friends and all. So... I decided to follow him to see what he was up to.

Shika POV:
(A/N: btw I call Shikamaru Shika so that's what his name is from now on)

I walked until I came to my favorite Arcade, "Cloudy Days" where the theme there is clouds (A/N: hahahaha idk :P) I walked in and started playing, but felt the presence following me again. If someone had enough patience to follow me around all day, I knew it had to be Izzy. "You can come out now, Izzy, I know it's you" I said as my shadow possession jutsu started to head her way.

Izzy POV:
*ahh!!!!* I mentally screamed (again, sorry the character does a lot of mental screams -_-) as I swiftly ran from the reach of the jutsu.

Back to Izzy POV:
The Chase has been going on for a good 10 minutes, and since the arcade has a lot of light,  Shika's shadow can reach virtuously anywhere in the arcade. "Oh no... " I say as I run into a dead corner.  "I gotcha Now" I heard Shika say from across the room, still concentrating on a game. ~Whoa....~ I thought to myself... ~how is Shika still playing his game AND using his Jutsu?!?!? He's awesome~ "EEEEK" I screamed playfully while laughing and his shadow takes over my body. "Darn it, what a drag...!" I heard him say as the game screen spelled out the words "DEAD! GAME OVER!" in all caps. He slowly walked towards me making me do the same. "See, this is what happens when there is a distraction running around... I LOOSE MY GAMMEEE NUUUUUU (A/N: haha, just imagine Shika complaining with his eyes like this: >_< in anime style oh meh gush XD) *groan* ughhh women... so troublesome. What a drag." He exclaimed rather harshly. "Hey... that was mean..." I exclaim, speaking my mind... "Oh... Sorry..." was the response. There was an awkward silence for a couple minutes until it was broken by me saying "Who lives with a pineapple on top of his head? (Sing to Spongebob theme song *ps: I made this up myself*) "Whaa?" Came from a confused Shika. "SHI-KA-MA-RU" (instead of Sponge-Bob-Square-Pants XD) I exclaimed loudly, laughing hard afterwards. He gave me a "-_-" look (with added sweatdrop for dramatic effect) and stayed silent for a while. "..." was all he said. Then, seconds later, he started bursting into laughter."Ahhhhhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahaahhahahhah" "Wow Izzy, you really are something, huh" I blushed at his remark. "Hey, since your here, wanna come with me to go watch clouds? " Shika asked. It wasn't unusual since we were friends and all. "Sure!" I said with a smile.

Shika POV:
We arrived at the park about 20 minutes later. I laid down in the grass and relaxed. I saw Izzy lay down next to me. "Isn't this nice" I exclaimed, drifting asleep."Yeah...".

~~~~~~About an hour later~~~~~~~~

My eyes fluttered open at the sound of someone calling my name and shaking my shoulders. "SHIKA, WAKE UPPP!!" I heard Izzy calling my name. "Huh...?!?!, whats happening? I asked in surprise. "Theres 3 missing ninjas here that want to start a fight with us!!" She practically shrieked. "Wait... What?!?!?" I said as I jumped up into a tree, pulling her up with me to safety." "No time to explain, we have to fight now!" She said in worry. "Ok, I see..." I said, pulling out a kunai knife. "So here's the plan..."

Izzy POV:
WHAT?!?!?!, are you sure??????" I jumped as I said this. "Yes, I'm very sure, now go!" My loyal pineapple-head friend replied. "Ok then... If you insist..." I said as I ran up to the 3 the thugs, coming at them from the opposite dirrection. "HEY YOU GUYS!!!" I yelled. "OVER HERE!!!" I said as I punched one of them in the face and kicked the other one in the gut. "Oh, you got us mad now!!" One of the thugs exclaimed. I kept on fighting for a while, wondering how much longer I could keep this up. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore and fell to the ground in defeat. "Heh, had enough yet?" The other thug said. He lifted his foot and was about to kick me. I braced for impact and closed my eyes tightly. I was waiting in suspense for a couple seconds and opened my eyes to see all of the guys stuck in place.

Shika POV: "Shadow Possession Jutsu" I whispered as multiple shadows appeared behind me. The plan was for Izzy to get close enough to the thugs by herself so I could use her shadow for my shadow possession jutsu to be able to go far enough to reach the thugs. Sure enough, it worked. She is my shadow. "Stop right there, guys... I think thats enough fighting for today... what a drag... going out and ruining peoples relaxation under the clouds." "Izzy, take them out while my jutsu is still holding them." "Right." She said as she knocked them out cold in a single blow. That girl is something else..., I thought to myself.

Narrorator POV:   As Shika and Izzy went home, it was silent, until Shika broke the silence. "Hey, sorry I didn't come in earlier, you got all beat up." "Its fine" Izzy said with a smile. "I had a lot of fun, even though our lives were at stake an all" she said, making a face (Something like this: <丶'Д｀>). "Haha, well I'm glad you had fun." Shika replied. Shika then turning around, being at his house. "Ok, well see you tomorrow!" Izzy said, waving. But, as she tried to walk away, her feet wouldn't let her move. "Hey, what is this, Shika?!?" she said, realizing she's in his jutsu once more. "Oh, I never said you could leave." Shika said, smirking. As he walked into the house, Izzy was forced to follow.
