Naruto had led the group into a maze in order for them to get lost, in case they were going to attack or something. They all walked for about 12 hours, which the teams, except Hinata and the Jounins complained and whine until they cried out in relief. They had finally arrived to the castle. Naruto looked at them and ordered them to stay put until he returns. They all agreed. Naruto walked inside the castle to speak with his father, King Kouga.

The teams watched him enter with the doors closing behind him. The second they closed, the teams began speaking to each other. Sakura and Kiba were yelling that they should be treated with more respect. While Sasuke, Shino, and Hinata were wondering if this 'King' was as dangerous as legend says. Both Jounins were curious on how Naruto came to live with King Kouga.

About half an hour had passed when the doors opened up again to reveal Naruto walking out and motioning them to follow him quietly. They walked inside immediately noticing a man around his 20s standing in the middle looking at them as if he was trying to figure if they were a threat to his kingdom. Naruto bowed in front of him and spoke in a formal tone, "Father may I introduce the shinobis and kounichis of Konohagakura." The teams then bowed except for Sasuke and Kiba who have ego complex. Kakashi had to forced both of them to bow to the king since he doesn't know what the king will do if they all didn't bow. "My son since you just came from hunting with the two captains, head down to the pyre after resting.", said Kouga to Naruto who simply nodded and left the teams still bowing before the king.

When the doors shut behind Naruto, the king addressed the teams to stand and to introduce themselves, once the teams have done as he as asked the king decided that because they simply arrived they will rest until any further discussion. The team leaders simply agreed since they were returning from a mission without much rest. The king then summons some guards to show the ninjas their temporary stay. As soon as the teams were lead away, Naruto had returned to the room meeting the kings eyes that were full of concerns and hidden fury. "My son are you sure that you will be alright with the temporary arrangements?", Naruto simply nodded with full confidence showing in his eyes. "I am."
