Itachi Sasuke Haku Suigetsu Sakura Kai and May were currently training hard for the attack to come.

Kai: Well Itachi, your really something else you know that?

May: Yeah, your still ahead of all of us by a long shot.

Sasuke: It's to the point we're it's getting me angry about it.

Itachi: You all could achieve this level of strength to one day.

Haku: Not anytime soon that's for sure.

Sakura: I'm not sure if it'll happen until we're at least 30.

Itachi: It's less time then I would've liked, but they'll be here tomorrow.

Sasuke: We should wake up no later then 5. It'll be to dangerous to sleep later than that.

Kai: Geez. Even though we've been training nonstop, why do I feel like we're still in trouble?

Itachi looked up into the air and saw clouds moving around. In another instant he saw thunder red and purple thunder in the air before going pale.

Itachi: Oh no...

Suigetsu: Lightning like that definitely isn't normal.

Kai: Especially when the sky is like this.

Soon they all noticed Itachi's expression.

Sasuke: What does that mean?

Itachi: The only time that I ever see that lightning, is when 2 specific members of the Akatsuki and together.

Sakura: They're hear already?!!

May: But it's a day early!

Sasuke: This entire time they were a step ahead...

Haku: We need to relay this to Lady Tsunade immediately!

Sasuke: I'll go, I'm the second fastest and we need Itachi on the front lines.

Sasuke immediately started running to the Hokage Office and was worried while going.

Sasuke: 'Come on Naruto, Ryu! We need you here right now idiots!'

Elsewhere!!

Ryu punched Naruto in the face sending him skidding back far.

Naruto: GRR! Dang Ryu! You seriously don't know how to hold back like this!

Both of the Ninja were in their Perfect Sage Modes.

Ryu: Well all the better to defeat the Akatsuki.

Ryu stopped and looked down at his hands.

Ryu: I feel like I've got this form down.

Jiraiya: Well you two are really something you know that? It took me years to finally Perfect Sage Mode.

Kira: He's not wrong. It took Naruto only a few days to grasp the concept of Sage Mode, and Ryu, you learned yours in just a little over a day.

Naruto: I guess we are pretty awesome huh?

Ryu: Yeah, but at least try to be more humble.

Jiraiya: *Sigh* Some things will never change.

Fukasaku: Well we need to review over everything you need to know.

Fenrir: Thats right. Mostly the Risk. That way you will now how to fully utilize its abilities.

Ryu: We gotta be completely still to gather Nature energy and we can only go in for a little while at a time. Or at least Naruto can.

Naruto: WAIT THAT MEANS IT'S TOTALLY USELESS IN A FIGHT!!! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GATHER IT IF WE'RE DODGING FOR OUR LIVES?!!!

Jiraiya: WE'RE GETTING TO THAT PART MORRON!!!!

Fukasaku: Indeed. To diminish those risk, we will simply have to merge our bodies.

Ryu: Naruto, he means he'll be mounting on you're shoulder or back.

Naruto: Gotcha.

Ryu: So what'll be my situation then? I don't think that I'd be able to have you on my shoulder Fenrir.

Fenrir: Ryu, I'll be shrinking down for that. I'll provide you with a good outfit for me to be on you with.

Back to the Leaf!!

Sasuke immediately burst into the Hokage office surprising Tsunade.

Sasuke: LADY TSUNADE!!

Tsunade: Sasuke what's wrong?

Sasuke: They're here!

Immediately Tsunade knew what Sasuke meant.

Tsunade: How many?

Sasuke: We don't know, but if it's as bad as Jiraiya told us. Then there should be 9.

Tsunade: This is bad. We must-

An explosion near by was heard.

Tsunade: Oh no...

Sasuke: They've already started!

Sasuke we ever hand signs and activated his Sharingan.

Sasuke: Lightning Style: Lightning Transformation!!

Sasuke turned into a bolt of lightning going out of the window. After ricocheting of some walls for 20 seconds he made his way to the others.

Sasuke: I informed Lady Tsunade! But there's no way that should have been able to happen!

They all started moving in while talking.

Haku: Itachi, what are we up against?! How are they already inside the village?!

Itachi: One of them is a master of stealth. He's able to delay the sensory in the Leaf's defense in order to sneak in unsuspected.

Kai: Oh great someone who could do that is the worse thing for us! What else can they do?!

Itachi: Besides the that's of Pain I don't know anything specific besides that. We don't always go in the same missions and even then they kept their abilities under my radar.

Suigetsu: Then what you're saying is-

Sakura: We're going in blind then?!

May: Oh that's just great.

Itachi: We need to divide our numbers. There are 6 Paths of Pain, and Two Beast Warriors to take care of. May, you take the Human path, it's the least dangerous. But be careful, if it grabs your head, it can read your mind, ripping out your soul and killing you instantly. Kai, go after the animal path. It can constantly summon animals with no blood cost but that's not all, it can summon the other Paths if necessary so be careful and run if they are summoned. Suigetsu, your objective is the Preta Path. It can absorb Chakra in any form. With your weapon you'll be able to do fine, just don't let it touch you or it will drain you dry. Sakura, the Naraka path will be a tricky foe. It can summon a being called the King of Hell. It's first ability allows it to pass judgement. It sticks some sort of Tendril into your mouth and you get asked a question. If you answer truthfully, you'll be left completely exhausted, but alive. Lie, and you die. Haku, you will be up against the Asura Path. That path is deadly, it allows the user to augment their own bodies to form multiple ballistic mechanical weapons. Do not take it lightly or you WILL die. And Sasuke, I'm afraid you'll have to take on the Deva path. It the deadliest of all of them. It allows the user to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces, meaning you can do things like pull you towards him or sending you away with devastating power. Just know, the wait to use that Jutsu is 5 Seconds. Scatter now!

All: RIGHT!

The Shinobi all separated going their ways. Itachi slightly scowled and thought to himself.

Itachi: 'Of course none of the Paths could ever come close to Azure and Karma. Then again, any other beast warrior has died to them.'

It was only then Itachi noticed Sasuke was following him.

Itachi: Is the Deva path this way as well?

Sasuke: Yeah. The stealth just wore off. Now who exactly will you be dealing with?

Itachi looked forward before speaking.

Itachi: Karma Gemini. She's the one who allowed them to sneak in undetected. Her fighting skills are great, greater than any female Ninja I have ever seen. She and thanks to her Beast, Kuro, she has a large supply of Chakra to boot. But the most frightening thing about her is her horrifying tenacity. The next one is the most dangerous. Azure Kaito. He's beaten me many times in the past. Not once have I ever defeated him.

Sasuke: Not once?

Itachi: Yes. And the Beast he has rivals, if not surpasses Ryu's, Shisa.

Sasuke was shaken back hearing the words straight from Itachi himself. Moments after that was said, Itachi was caught by a punch to the face sending him in the other direction.

Sasuke: ITACHI!

Right after Sasuke was caught by another hit sending him in the same direction as Itachi. Itachi adjusted himself mid air and was able to land safely. Sasuke however used his Susanoo Skeletons arm to stick into the ground and allow him to land on his feet.

???: Your slacking Itachi. Coming back to the Leaf has made you loose your instinct.

???2: He was never a match for us anyway.

Sasuke looked to see two people. A woman with crimson red hair and what looked to be fox ears, and a man with white hair with black streaks. Soon after behind them came an orange haired man with a rain village headband.

Sasuke: So these are the people?

Itachi: Yes.

Karma: So this is the kid brother you told us so much about hm? I'm not very impressed.

Pain: Your betrayal will not go unpunished Itachi. Know that.

Itachi: How could I betray you, when I was never truly on your side to begin with?

Azure: It doesn't matter, you'll die along with the village you love here.

Sasuke got up and put his hand on the sheath of his blade.

Sasuke: We're outnumbered, what's the plan?

Itachi: We need to do our best to defeat them, no matter what the cost. Because if we can't we die anyway. 'We need to hope that Ryu Kira Naruto and Jiraiya can get here fast enough.'

Karma craned her neck as her yellow eyes stared right into Itachi's Sharingan unaffected. She smirked and rushed towards Itachi with a Kunai in hand. Itachi brought out his own Kunai. The two clashed with the Kunai before Karma smirked and weaved hand signs with her unoccupied hand. In a red glow, she burst into flames and appeared behind Itachi kick by him away.

Sasuke: What is that? I couldn't copy it with my Sharingan.

Pain: You should focus on your opponent.

Sasuke narrowly avoided a black rod going straight for his head. It was revealed that pain was the one who threw it. Sasuke unsheathed his grass cutter sword and ran towards pain. Soon enough, he stopped unable to go forward any further.

Pain: Almighty Push.

Sasuke was blown back with immense force from gravitational attack. Sasuke activated his Susanoo Ribcage and plunged its arm into the ground. This caused him to stop going back.

Sasuke: '1.'

At that moment Sasuke had quickly made hand signs.

Sasuke: Lightning Transformation!!

He was transformed into a bolt of lightning and headed straight to Pain.

Sasuke: '2.'

Not expecting this, Pain jumped out of the way. Sasuke when he was close enough went back to human form.

Sasuke: '3.'

He held out his hand creating a Chidori.

Sasuke: '4.' Chidori Senbon!

Sasuke swung his hand sending 12 lightning needles at Pain. He dodged them all.

Sasuke: '5.' Chidori Spear!

Sasuke thrusted his arm forward making the Chidori still in his hands extend out to a spear. Pain once again dodged by crouching onto the ground.

Sasuke: '6. He must know what I'm trying.'

Meanwhile Karma and Itachi were going at it with Itachi being on the back end due to Karma always appearing in a different place.

Itachi: 'That Jutsu is dangerous. She can reappear anywhere around me.'

ELSEWHERE!!

Haku was dodging missiles fired by the Asura path.

Haku: Ice Style: Icicle Rain!

She summoned Icicles above the Pain. Sadly for her, it shot bullets with its other hand destroying them all.

Haku: 'Damn it, this thing just doesn't stop. If this keeps on for much longer I'll run out of chakra.'

The Asura Path then ran at Haku with a serrated sword as its hand. Haku created two Ice Mirrors and sunk into the first one fast enough and transported to the second Mirror. She threw needles at its back only for them to bounce off.

Haku: No use, these things not have enough penetration power.

The Asura Oath turned and shot the mirrors making Haku fly out getting hit by one of the bullets. She skidded back panting. She struggled to get back on her feat not wanting to ready up.

Haku: 'I can't just give in. Not now. I thought I lost my purpose to live a long time ago, but Ryu, he's the reason I want to protect this village with all of my heart now... I have to keep going.'

She remembered something from her past as a child.

Haku: 'Before that was just an accident, but if I can just remember the feeling...'

She ran towards the Asura Path avoiding the bullets gradually closing the ground. She brought her hand back as ice shards spun around it.

Haku: 'Let this work, please!' Ice Javelin!

She avoided the serrated sword going at her head but got a cut on her cheek. Pushing through she thrusted her hand into the the paths chest.

Haku: 'NOW!!'

She twisted her hand as the temperature around them went to Absolute Zero. After that, ice burst from the Asura Path making him burst into pieces. The ice that did such went high onto the sky creating a sharp iceberg.

Haku: I... I did it...

She collapsed to the ground in exhaustion.

Haku: I made... an all or nothing gamble... that could have easily gotten me killed... I think I've been spending to much time around Naruto AND Ryu.

She smiled before closing her eyes.

Haku: 'But you know, I don't think that's too bad.

That was the last thing she said before passing out.

OK, I know it's been a while since I updated this book. A LONG while. Like about a few months- OK. But I've just started adjusting to High School and switching from virtual class to real class, so I'd appreciate if someone cut me some slack. Also, I have other books to keep you all occupied... *Sigh*.....

2020 REALLY Sucks.
