Ryu POV

We were still fighting Haku but the others were hurt badly. If this kept on the could die.

Ryu: Sasuke have you unlocked it yet?

Sasuke: Unlocked what?

Ryu: The Sharingan, I know you have the ability to.

Sasuke: No, not yet...

Ryu: That's one more person I have to watch.

Naruto: Shadow Clone Jutsu!

Ryu: One more time Eh?

Naruto launched at the mirrors but Haku defeated every one of the clones. I jumped a bit late so I couldn't mark her before she went back in a mirror and struck me with a barge of needles with one sticking in my arm.

Naruto: Ryu are you okay?!

Ryu: Yeah I'm fine.

I took out the needle and tossed it outside of the mirrors. My wounds the start to heal.

Sasuke: 'What the? Those wounds are already starting to heal.'

Naruto: How are we gonna beat her if we can't even hit her?!

Ryu: Hmph. Don't you worry Naruto, I've got a plan.

Naruto: You've got a plan Ryu?

Ryu: You two hold these.

I tossed them one throwing knife each.

Ryu: Uh huh, one last all or nothing gambit.

Sasuke: All or nothing gambit?

Ryu: Yeah, it's one of my more used moves.

Sasuke: Wait your not talking about those are you?!

Ryu: You guessed it.

Naruto: How will those help?!

Ryu: Naruto you create a few Shadow clones, and the use the Jutsu. Sasuke, your with me. We find an opening while she attacks the clones and strike when her Garuda down.

Sasuke: Alright.

Naruto: You got it!

Ryu: Ready, Break!

Naruto did his shadow clones while Sasuke and I broke to the left.

Haku: This again? That Jutsu is useless.

Naruto then did the hand signs I taught him and Sasuke.

Naruto: Wind Style: Faithful Wind Blade!

Each of Naruto's clones made a blade of wind that was about 1 foot longer then the knife. Since he was using a higher rank Jutsu and had shadow clones involved, the length of the blade was cut down a lot, and it still used a great amount of chakra. Then Sasuke and I both weaved our hand signs for a similar Jutsu.

Ryu&Sasuke: Lightning Style:Lightning Dagger!

Our knives grew about 2 feet longer since we weren't using as much chakra as Naruto was. We both waited for her to be open after she destroyed some of the clones.

Ryu: Now!

We both jumped when I said now and I was right on the money that time. We both cut her with our blades and I had the chance to mark her on the leg.

Ryu: Now this'll be a whole lot easier.

She then went back out and skewered Naruto And Sasuke with a few needles and I dodged them.

Ryu: You guys okay?

Naruto: I'm fine, Believe It! It's not that bad!

Sasuke: As if those could take me down.

Haku: Your persistence is admirable, and your dangerously close to making me angry.

Ryu: Well great! Sasuke, have your eyes adjusted to her movements yet?

Sasuke: Just about yeah.

Ryu: Well then get ready cause she's gonna skewer you two again if we don't. Naruto get ready to run outside.

Naruto: Got it!

Haku: Looking to get your friend outside? I'll save you the trouble.

She threw needles at me and Sasuke but we both grabbed a needle from the ground and deflected them.

Ryu: Naruto now!

He then charged up Chakra in his feet and made a b line to out the mirrors. Haku however raced to Naruto to block him off. Naruto did a backflip and ran the other way but Haku still outran him and threw needles at him to send him flying back.

Ryu: Well Sasuke Naruto's down so I guess it's just us right now.

Haku: You two are both at your limit right now. I will be able to finish you off in a mater of seconds now.

Ryu: You really don't get it huh? I won't die here. I'll break my limits as much as I have to.

Haku: My next move will be the last you ever see.

She then shifted from mirror to mirror.

Ryu: 'Alright I just have to concentrate. Come on... come on.

We waited for her next attack. I used all of my senses, not just my eyes to avoid the needles and Sasuke managed to dodge them while grabbing Naruto too.

Ryu: Wait what? You saw the moves too?

Haku: There's no way he could do that.

Sasuke was panting pretty hard before he looked up.

Haku&Ryu: Those eyes.

I then smirked to see that Sasuke awakened his Sharingan in the heat of this battle.

Ryu: Hmph. It may not be complete, but those are genuine Sharingan eyes.

She paused for a moment to think about what to do knowing that we can both track her movements now. She came out of the mirror and went to Naruto. I knew this was my only chance to get to her. I used my flying Raijin to teleport instantly to her.

Haku: What?! How he couldn't have possibly-

She then realized I marked her leg before she went back into the mirror when Sasuke and I cut her. She then swerved back into the mirror before I could get her and shot needles at Naruto from another angle. I teleported again to her to stop the needles but it was to late, they were already gone and she was in a mirror again.

Ryu: Damn it!!

I couldn't make it in time to stop the needles from hitting Naruto. For a minute everything around me froze. I didn't know what to say or do. But what happened next was by far a lot worse. Sasuke leaped in front of Naruto to save him. Naruto then looked up to see Sasuke in front of him.

Naruto: Why? Why did you.. save me?

Sasuke (Literally about to "Die"): I don't know why. I just did...

He then went silent for a minute.

Sasuke: You... I hated you before this.

Naruto: Then why? It doesn't make any sense!

Sasuke: Let me finish idiot... I hated you before he came along.

He pointed to me.

Ryu: Sasuke.

Sasuke: Now I think of you as more than a loser... someone I can call a friend. My body just moved the only thought I had was to save my friend.

He then fell back and almost dropped to the ground before I caught him.

Ryu&Naruto: Sasuke!

Sasuke: H-He's still out there... my brother...

Ryu: Itachi?

Sasuke: I promised myself... I'd stay alive... u-until I killed him... Naruto, Ryu don't let... your dreams die.

His hand extended out to us before it dropped. Our eyes widened before Haku threw more needles at us. I didn't have time to react before Naruto jumped in front of me, getting stabbed with all of them in the process. I couldn't muster up the strength to speak before he dropped.

Ryu: NARUTO!!

I caught him before he landed onto the could ground.

Ryu: Naruto not you too! Why did you have to go and do that! What am I gonna explain to the others huh?!

Naruto (Finna "Die" soon): I'm sorry Ryu... I couldn't keep that promise to Sasuke, but you can... please... for the both of us.....

His eyes then closed and his arm slid off his stomach.

Ryu: ...Why? WHY DOES EVERYONE I GET CLOSE TO DIE?!!

Haku: To protect some who was precious to them they found strength hidden within them. They were true Shinobi, worthy of honor. Has it not been easier to see a friend die again?

Ryu: ...Shut the Hell up... I didn't like you two at first either, and yet...

The ground beneath me started to break. Without me realizing my Chakra was rising and it was emanating from me. It began to turn a different color: jet black and crimson red. The bangs on my head also turned from a bright yellow, into a crimson red. My sharingan looked different as the pupil in the middle turned into a wolves slit, and my canine teeth grew even sharper then before.

Ryu: I'm going to end you!

Haku: What is this? Chakra cannot be seen. And his calm visage, it's completely gone. I can now feel his intent to kill.

Kakashi POV

While I was fighting Zabuza, I felt something strange. It was a huge, horrifying chakra that put the 9 tails to shame, but it felt familiar.

Kakashi: 'Is Zabuza doing this?! Wait no, this chakra is all to familiar! It's Ryu, but it's different. Could it be that the power inside of him is coming loose? If that's the case, then we all might be doomed! Now of all times, he's loosing control! Wait... his power isn't at its peak, it's still manageable. But it's growing with each passing second. I have to end this now!'

Ryu POV

Shojo: Ryu calm down, your using to much chakra. If you keep it up, the bridge will be destroyed for nothing.

While I still was in some control I listened to her and stopped using to much of her power. I was still in control for the most part, but my rage was blinding me. I charged towards Haku with the full intent to kill.

Haku: 'This is no longer that calm boy from a minute ago, he's like a wolf hunting his prey. I must defeat him now! But I might not be able to.'

She threw he needles at me but I flashed away. She threw some more and I didn't move fast enough so they hit me, but I just blew them out of me. I then let out an earth shattering roar that broke the mirror she was in and forced he to move to another one, but I grabbed her wrist and wasn't gonna let go anytime soon for her.

Haku: How could that be?! He didn't even teleport! Are his senses that much more heightened like this?!

I pulled back my fist ready to strike her. I threw my fist forward at her face completely shattering her mask and sending her through a mirror.

Ryu: Time to end this!!

I made the hand signs for Rakurai and put my hand out. The power of it was greater than any of the times I used it before, destroying the mirrors with just the lightning lashing out. I got ready to kill her running forward at extreme speeds. When she was in sight she had her head down so I couldn't see her face at first, but when she brung her head up, I saw a familiar face. When my attack was inches away from her heart I stopped. I felt my chakra go back to normal and my sharingan deactivate.

Ryu: So, That girl from the forest, it was you?

Haku: Why do you not strike?

Ryu: Huh?

Haku: Did you not just vow to avenge your comrade's death by killing me? Or was that just a meaningless threat?

I looked back at the dead bodies of Naruto and Sasuke and grunted. I looked back at her and punched her so and in the stomach she spat up blood before falling back. She struggled to get back up and spat up more blood before speaking.

Haku: No. That will not do. If that's all the strength your willing to put into your attack then you will never avenge your friends. Perhaps they didn't mean as much to you as you pretend.

I then threw one of my throwing knives at her scratching her face.

Ryu: Why do you insist on me killing you? And my other question? Why Zabuza? Why devote yourself to being just a damn weapon to a guy like him?!

She then went on to explain her past to me. How her father killed her mother and how she had to kill them to stay alive, how she met Zabuza and found a purpose to live.

Haku: That's why I ask you Ryu. Please, end me.

Ryu: So that's your story huh? Strange. You and I, we aren't that different.

I took out one of my special Kunai to do the job. I ran towards her but didn't go full speed since I was hesitant. Before I could stab her she caught my hand.

Haku: Sorry Ryu, but I'm not ready to die yet. It looks like I still have one thing to do.

She then disappeared.

Haku POV

I used one of my mirrors to get in front of the copy ninja before he could kill Zabuza. I closed my eyes ready to accept my fate. I heard the sound of a stab but I felt like I was still alive. I opened my eyes to see that Ryu was in front of me he. It looked like he took most of the damage that I should have taken. I looked at him with tears in my eyes.

Haku: Why?

Ryu: You sparred my life, and my friends, it's only right that I do the same for you.

Zabuza: My future is all used up eh? Hehehe, wrong again Kakashi!

I saw Zabuza ready to slice through the both of us ready to accept my fate, but I was saved yet again by Ryu.

Ryu: Your not dying on my watch.

Haku: What? But how? You have a hole where your heart is, you should be dead!

Ryu: If I can heal fast enough, my heart can survive a blow like that. Takes a lot of chakra though. I can barley stand up straight. And I know you can't move.

He wasn't wrong I tried to get up but I couldn't move a muscle.

Haku: Why would you spare me like this?! I killed your friends!

Ryu: Don't lie. It took me a while to realize but you didn't hit a Vidal spot. You only put them in a temporary death state.

I was shocked on how he knew.

Haku: How did you know?

Ryu: I've killed plenty of times before, I'm pretty sure I've memorized all the Vidal organs at this point.

Haku: Brains AND bron huh?

I looked up and started crying.

Haku: Your way to kind, but it's over for him isn't it?

Ryu: Yeah... Kakashi's got him beat. But I'm not sure if he's gonna kill him.

Ryu POV

Sakura: Ryu! Where's Naruto and Sasuke?!

Ryu: They're over there. But they're out cold and beaten to a pulp. They'll wake up in a bit, so don't go thinking there dead.

She nodded and I looked back at the fight. Kakashi stabbed one of Zabuza's arms making it useless. Zabuza then ran forward and received a backhand punch from Kakashi.

Ryu: You really shouldn't watch this Haku.

I then covered her eyes so she couldn't see.

Haku: Thanks.

Kakashi then stabbed his other arm rendering him useless. His sword then swung near us.

Ryu: 'Maybe I could get someone to forge another executioner blade like his'

???: Did quite a number on you Eh Zabuza, you look like yesterday's sashimi.

I turned to see an incredibly short man who might be as short as Naruto.

Ryu: That's Gatō isn't it?

Haku: Yes it is. And you should move back.

Ryu: Why?

Haku: Because he has some pent up anger against me. Move back, please. It's a way to atone for the things I've done.

Ryu: There's no way I'll-

I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back to see Sasuke and Naruto. I instantly went back to hug them.

Ryu: Don't ever do something stupid like that again you two!

I realized that I was hugging them and pulled away and went back to my normal attitude.

Ryu: If you must, but if I can't take to much of it I'm getting you out of there.

He then walked in her direction.

Gatō: And you, I've been meaning to pay you back for breaking my hand. GRAAAH!

He then kicked her repeatedly with her screaming from the pain. I was beyond furious and my eyes went into their wolf variants. I crept my machete on standby in case I needed to use it. Kakashi held Naruto back from going in to save her.

Ryu: So Zabuza? Is this really how you feel? Letting her suffer right in front of your eyes. You spent so much time with her. She lived for you, put herself second and you first. She never had a dream of her own. Is this really how your gonna let it end?

Zabuza: You talk to much...

He turned around and I saw him crying.

Ryu: I knew it. No demon could cry like that. No matter how hard we try, one thing a Shinobi can never escape, is that we're all human.

Zabuza: Your words cut deep. Deeper than any blade. While she fought you, her heart was breaking, but you already know that. You see Haku was always to soft and to kind. She felt pain and sorrow, and now curse her I feel them too.

He undid his bandages and I knew what that meant. He was about to speak but I held my hand out.

Ryu: Let me guess: lend you my machete?

Zabuza: Yes, but also: take care of Haku.

I grabbed my machete from its sheath and tossed it to him and then I flashed to Haku, punched Gatō in the face, and the grabbed her and flashed back.

Zabuza: One more thing. Haku.

She looked at him with those big brown eyes of her's.

Zabuza: I love you.

He then charged into the group of thugs.

A/n: Just imagine Zabuza using a machete instead of the kunai.

I was blown away at how he was down both his arms, and still killed most of the thugs and Gatō. Haku then started crying after seeing Zabuza that state. I held her close to me.

Ryu: It's ok. He might have done some bad things in his life, but he's gonna be in a better place.

Thug: Hey, yo hoo? Now that Gatō's dead who's gonna pay us? Guess we'll just have to check out that village and see what they've got.

I then saw an arrow fall in front of them and looked to see the villagers.

Inari: Hero's usually show up at the last minute you know!

Ryu: Looks like someone found their courage!

I smiled at Inari and gave him one of my rare thumbs up. He then returned it with his own.

Ryu: Oi Naruto, Sasuke, you two got enough chakra for clones?

Naruto: You Bet!

Sasuke: Naturally.

Ryu: Then Let's Do This.

We then made Shadow and Lightning clones. The thugs looked shook from the 1000 clones I made and to top it all of, Kakashi and Sakura joined the fun, with Sakura making earth clones and Kakashi making just as many clones as me.

Team 7: Still wanna fight?

The thugs then all ran away scared for their lives.

Ryu: Well that takes care of that. And now...

I walked over to Zabuza to bring him beside Haku.

Zabuza: Heh. Well Ryu, looks like as a Shinobi, and a man, you stand greater than I ever have.

Ryu: Just save your breath for Haku before you pass on. You deserve to Rest In Peace.

Zabuza: Haku, before I go, there are some things I have to tell you. For one, I've always loved you like a daughter. To me you were the only other thing that mattered. Please don't think bad of these leaf Ninja for all of this, they did they had to.

She weakly nodded.

Zabuza: Lastly, find your own dream. Don't just think of yourself as a weapon for others. You are like them, a human being. Live your life to the fullest. Have no regrets.

He then coughed.

Zabuza: Looks like this is the end for me. I should have said this more in my life to you, and I wish I had more time to tell you. I love you Haku... Farewell.....

He then died in front of us. It took me a bit of time to realize but it was snowing.

Ryu: You told us that we're you came from it was snowing all the time.

I noticed Naruto crying behind me.

Kakashi: Of course. His spirit was as pure as the snow.

Time skip to Team 7 and Haku at the grave they made for Zabuza.

Sakura: Is that really it Sensei? Is that really the Shinobi way? To be used as weapons?

Kakashi: Shinobi are all merely tools in the hands of destiny. No point in wondering if it's right or wrong. It just is.

Naruto: Well if you ask me if that's what being a ninja is all about than something's out of wack. Is that why we go through all this training? To end up like him?

Sasuke: What is the reason for that?

Kakashi: Well, it's a question without an answer. And that is something us ninja will have to deal with every day of our lives. Like Zabuza.

Ryu: Actually... from my point of view, Shinobi aren't just weapons. Their still living breathing people. And if they are, I choose to be different. I won't bring myself down to just being some sort of weapon, I'll be someone who'll always be willing to help. That's my Nindo: My ninja way. And I'm sure you'll be following your own path too, right Naruto?

Naruto: Yeah!

Time skip to Team 7 and Haku departing back to the leaf.

Tazuna: We could have never finished the bridge without you. I can't tell you how much we're going to miss all of you.

Tsunami: Do be careful.

Naruto: Now now, don't get all chocked up we'll visit real soon.

Inari: You promise you will?

I then walked up and Patted Inari on the head.

Ryu: I'll at least visit. I can promise you that.

He then smiled. I walked away from the bridge after marking it.

Ryu: By the way it's okay for both of you to cry.

I turned around noticing Naruto trying not to cry along with Inari but the both fail and cry silently.

Ryu: Sakura, you just thought of guys as pathetic didn't you?

Sakura: You and Sasuke are the exceptions to that!

Haku: What about your Sensei?

Sakura: What about our Sensei?

Ryu; Damn Kakashi, by Sakura.

Kakashi: That hurts the old pride.

We then walked of but I could still here Tazuna. My ear the peaked at hearing the name of the bridge.

Ryu: Your kidding.

Team 7: What?

Ryu: Uh- nothing. It's fine.

Haku: *Whisper* What did you here?

Ryu: *Whisper* They're naming the bridge after me and Naruto. Ok guys grab on.

Naruto: Why did you wait until we got our here?

Ryu: So Inari wouldn't grab onto you. Now let's go before I change my mind and we all walk.

They all grab onto me and we teleport back to Konoha.
