Ryu POV

Haku: See yah guys. We'll be back before you know it.

Sakura: Be safe ok?

Ryu: When am I not?

Naruto: Go get em.

Sasuke: Right.

We walked jumped away from the gate and headed towards to Orochimaru's base.

Ryu: So why exactly are we going there?

Sasuke: Well first of all to kill him, get rid of that menace.

Ryu: I call dibs.

Sasuke: And second of all I want to absorb some of his power. If I can do that we could stand a better chance of taking down Itachi.

Haku: Makes sense.

Ryu: Ok then I can just teleport there. A few years ago I marked him. It might have been a different body but it still should stay on him. The Flying Thunder God Mark doesn't vanish.

Sasuke: Luckily this is the day he'll be weakened.

Ryu: Ok. Grab on. I'll be going in for a silent kill so I'm gonna have both of you be teleported a little further away from me.

They both nodded than I teleported in front of Orochimaru. I grabbed him by the hair and pulled out a machete.

Orochimaru: Ryu...!

Ryu: The one and only.

Without any hesitation, I chopped of his head. Before I did I saw something come out of his mouth and go behind me. I turned around and saw a giant white snake.

Ryu: Really, a giant white snake made out of snakes? You experimented so much that you aren't even human anymore? Talk about pathetic.

Orochimaru: You should have never come here boy! Now you are mine and the leaf is doomed! Give me your body!

His lunged towards me but I took out my sword and blocked his mouth.

Ryu: You know, I know why you took me in. You wanted my eyes and power all to yourself. You were like a snake raising a cub before he feasted on it himself. Little did you know...

I used my other hand to weave hand signs. Lightning burst around me destroying all the snakes that were coming after me and knocking down Orochimaru.

Ryu: I was a wolf, waiting to hunt his prey.

I slashed his head off and sheathed my blade.

Ryu: I'm done with you.

I was about to walk away before I dropped to one knee and coughed.

Haku: Ryu, are you okay?

Ryu: Don't come in! It's dangerous.

Orochimaru: I see you forgot about the numbing effects of the vapors of the great serpent as they decompose. Now you are mine!

He looked me dead in the eye before we were transported to another world. It looked like I was standing on moving guts.

Ryu: Aaah.

Orochimaru: This is where the transference will take place.

Ryu: Yeah no.

I activated my Mangekyou Sharingan and we switched places.

Orochimaru: What?!

Ryu: Your first mistake was looking me in the eyes. I can trap you in a Genjutsu. Your second mistake was letting me live that day. It it wasn't for you letting me escape I wouldn't be as powerful as I am now. And your last mistake: Was threatening my home. Now die.

I raised my sword and cleaved him down the middle. I teleported back to the real word and put my blade back in the hilt.

Ryu: Alright, you two can come in now.

Sasuke and Haku walked in.

Sasuke: Finally.

Haku: Alright just get this- WHAT IS THAT?!!

They looked down to see Orochimaru's snake corpse.

Ryu: That Haku, is a corpse.

Sasuke: So he ended up becoming a snake himself. A fitting end huh?

Ryu: I will not lie right now, I am filled with more pride than you can imagine. I finally finished that snake once and for all. So I'm just gonna let you do your thing and be on my way.

I walked out of the room and left Sasuke grabbing Haku.

Time Skip!

Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru and we were for some reason still in the hideout.

Ryu: Ok so why are we still here?

Sasuke: We're getting some help.

Haku: Help? You mean there's someone here who wasn't his loyal servant?

Sasuke: Yes. He also knows Ryu.

Ryu: What?

Sasuke: Yes. He actually told me something once.

Ryu: And what was that?

Sasuke: He said once you split Orochimaru down the middle, you'd release him.

Ryu: ...Oh my God...

Haku: Who was that?

Ryu: After all this time I almost forgot him. Let's go.

I walked down the path remembering we're to go almost on instinct alone. We entered a chamber with giant testing tubes. I stood in front one big one in the center.

Haku: There's nothing there.

???: It's you. I knew you'd come one day. So I'm guessing you did just as you told me?

She jumped hearing a voice coming from the water.

Ryu: Sorry for making you wait so long. But never mind that, time to get you out of there.

I grabbed my sword and slashed at the glass breaking it. The water poured out and from it came a guy with white hair.

???: Ahhh. Free at last. Thank you Ryu. And it's good to see you too Sasuke.

Sasuke: Suigetsu, your the first.

Suigetsu: What do you mean the first? Who are the others?

Ryu: It's about time you filled us in too.

Sasuke: There will be two others. Jugo of the northern hideout, and I'm also getting Karin of the southern hideout.

There was a brief silence in the room before I broke it.

Ryu: I hate you.

Suigetsu: Ehhh I don't think that wouldn't be good for anyone.

Sasuke: And why not?

Ryu: For one Karin is someone who annoys me to no end, note that I met her only in the Chunin exams, and Jugo would just try to kill me.

Sasuke: Wait, why would he try to kill you?

Ryu: Well besides him not having control of his own damn power, there was a time that I fought Kimimaru in front of him and broke both of his arms.

Suigetsu: ...You what?

Ryu: Long story. Anyway Sasuke I wouldn't travel with either of them even if my LIFE depended on it. We're leaving it at Suigetsu and that's it. By the way, here.

I tossed a scroll to Suigetsu.

Suigetsu: Whats this?

Ryu: Exactly what you wanted.

He unraveled then scroll and Zabuza's sword appeared.

Suigetsu: ... I'm not even gonna ask how you got this, and just go along.

Sasuke: Good. Now I'll tell you this now, and you better listen. Our target is-

Ryu: Itachi Uchiha. And I know exactly we're to search for him.

Haku: And were would that be?

Ryu: The Uchiha Hideout.

Sasuke: Why that place?

Ryu: Itachi knows me. He's gonna be there because it's the only place he'd know I'd choose.

Time Skip!

Suigetsu: Can we take a break now? We've been walking for days.

Sasuke: Suck it up.

Suigetsu: Haku, can't you just use your Medical Ninjutsu on me?

Haku: I could, but it wouldn't work. It only works when someone's in actual pain, your just lazy.

My ear twitched and I stopped dead in my tracks.

Ryu: Who's there?

From behind a tree came a guy with a cinnamon roll mask wearing an Akatsuki robe.

Ryu: 'Never thought that's something so would think of.'

???: Wow, you look just like Itachi described!

I glared at him making him back up.

???: SCARY!!

I heard something coming down from the sky.

Ryu: EVERYONE GET BEHIND ME NOW!!

Deidara had came in flying on a clay bird ready to detonate it and another one. They all went behind me and I activated my Susanoo. There was a massive explosion which caused a lot of stone and dust to be kicked up.

Deidara: We did it, we just took down Ryu AND Sasuke. Ha!

???: Nicely done Deidara!

When the dust cleared up, they saw all of us in my Skeletal Susanoo.

Deidara: Oh right. He has that blasted Susanoo as well.

Ryu: I'm surprised to see that your alive. Could've sworn that you died at the cave.

???: That's because I saved him!

Haku: That reminds me who are you?

Tobi: Oh I'm Tobi!

Ryu: 'This guy is a total goof. So why? Why do I get the feeling to just run away right now?'

Deidara: Just imagine, Orochimaru being killed by just a brat. Pathetic.

Ryu: I'm more than just some brat.

Deidara: You talking about how your a Beast Warrior right?

Sasuke: A Beast Warrior?

Ryu: How do you know that?

Deidara: It's because we have 2 of our own.

My eyes widened as I remembered what 1 of those Akatsuki members said.

Flashback.

???: Looks like one of us is here.

???2: Yeah, this ones got Shojo.

Flashback end.

Ryu: So that's what they meant.

Deidara: You might be strong, but I'll warn you now, compared to our leader and THEM, your just a bug they can easily stomp on.

Suigetsu: A bug?

Ryu: I guess we'll just have to find out huh? And I see you have a little scar on your face.

Deidara scowled and touched the slash mark under his other eye.

Ryu: This time I'll finish the job.

I took off my bag and dropped it. Deidara was still looking at me while Tobi's eyes were locked onto the bag. In the split second that the looked there, I had gotten right in front of him machete in hand and slashed right in his chest. I was behind him and sheathed the blade. I looked back at his body on the ground and was confused.

Ryu: 'Something isn't right here.'

I looked at the body slowly rise as Tobi had know trace of damage on him.

Ryu: Ok I'll deal with you later.

Deidara threw his C1 explosives at me. I weaved hand signs and lightning formed in my hand.

Ryu: Rakurai Senbon.

I swiped my hand with Senbon needles flying to the tiny balls. They pierced each of them and stuck them into a tree. Before they could explode, Deidara jumped to another tree. I jumped threw a knife there and flashed before he got there. While he was in the air I flip kicked him in the jaw sending him the other way.

Suigetsu: Has he always been that good?

Sasuke: Honestly I cant even tell if he's being serious or just testing out new moves.

Haku: Probably the latter.

Deidara: Ok, let's see how you like some of this.

His hands spewed out clay which nearly made me vomit. They turned into little clay- whatever you could call them and went at me.

Ryu: Alright I see what your gonna try and do. So how about no?

I jumped and weaved hand signs in the air.

Ryu: Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation!!

I breathed in and blew out a massive sea of flames going towards those clay monstrosities as well as Deidara and Tobi.

Ryu: Anything rose you wanna try before I sinus this? Cause we kinda need to get something done.

In one last effort, he summoned a giant clay Dragon.

Ryu: That old trick again?

The Dragon threw up clay balls from his mouth.

Ryu: Ok a new one.

The Dragon flew up in the sky and I started making different hand signs.

Ryu: Lets see how this can do.

I created a White Rakurai in his hands and thrusted it at the Dragon. It extended like a spear and nearly reached the Dragon.

Ryu: 'Shoot. The Wolf lance was short. And now we knows the range.'

Deidara: So the range is 12 meters is it? Your Jutsū is different. And that change in Chakra form was impressive as well. How about some more explosives?

The dragon shot out seven smaller dragons towards me. I was able to dodge last second before they exploded on the ground leaving a sizable crater.

Ryu: 'It's probably not a good idea to get caught in one of those.'

Shojo: Definitely not.

I landed in a ground where there was a soft spot.

Ryu: 'Uh oh.'

Deidara: Got him.

An explosion came from under me and it kicked up a lot of dust.

3rd Person POV

Deidara: That'll do it.

There was a massive dust cloud around the area and when it cleared up, Ryu was standing with a little blood on his mouth.

Ryu: That was a little to close.

Haku: Wait I'm confused he should at least be more hurt than that.

Suigetsu: Sasuke, you think you can elaborate on that.

Sasuke: I think. At the last second before the explosion he created a Susanoo to shield him from some of the explosion.

Suigetsu: You mean did that in just a split second?!

Sasuke: He's a freak of nature, it shouldn't be possible for anyone to have reaction time like that.

Ryu: 'More explosives are bound to be near by. Gotta watch my step.' So a guided missile attack and landings from bellow.

Tobi: I SET ALL THE LAND MINES DEIDARA!

Deidara: Step on even one and you could be toast.

Ryu: Ok then, I'll have to try this.

Ryu POV

I brought out 2 marked knives.

Deidara: You'll never get me with those.

Ryu: We'll see about that.

I threw one upwards to the dragon and it went to the far right.

Deidara: Don't think you can fool me! I know your game! You can't get on if it not in the Dragon!

Ryu: Ok then.

I threw the other knife and it hit the other one and made it stick into the dragons

Deidara: Clever little-

I teleported onto the dragon and right in front of Deidara.

Ryu: Now usually is start beating you down but that's probably not a good idea in mid air. So~

I took my machete and chopped of one of the Dragons wings.

Ryu: See yah.

I jumped off and landed on a tree branch.

Shojo: He's going, going, AAAAND-

The dragon landed on the ground and there was a massive explosion.

Shojo: He's gone.

Ryu: Not really.

Deidara came out on a clay bird.

Deidara: You!!!!

I saw he had started to eat the clay.

Ryu: Something isn't right.

He spewed out the clay and somehow, a giant him came out.

Ryu: Wait.

I squinted and saw that there was multiple mini chakra's in there.

Ryu: 'Nano explosives? But if they're that tiny than it must mean-' GUYS RUN!!!

Haku: What?

Sasuke: He's right! If we breathe in when that explodes then we could explode from the inside out!

Suigetsu: But what about Ryu?!

Sasuke: He'll live. He's not an idiot, he would run with us if he knew he couldn't survive.

They all ran as I saw it began to bloat.

Ryu: 'Alright, I marked him earlier. I just need to wait until it's blown up.'

It finally blew up and I ran away making him think that the explosions would have got me. I teleported behind him and readied a Wolves Claw, piercing through his chest.

Deidara: But how?

Ryu: My eyes can see Chakra. You won't be able to surprise me like that. And I saw that you hovered outside of their range. The only reason I told the rest to go cause I could catch up. I needed to finish the job with you first.

He started laughing and I felt something grab my leg.

Ryu: This is a clone isn't it?

Deidara: Yes it is. How about a direct C4 attack?!

Ryu: Not on your life!

I forced my hand out and punched him in the face knocking him off.

Ryu: Wait can he-

The bird shrunk down and I hovered in mid air.

Ryu: Oh crap!

I began falling down directly to one of the leftover mines.

Shojo: Ryu use it!

Ryu: But I only ever used that power once! And that was in practice!

Shojo: Well if you don't we're gonna die anyway!

Ryu: Alright here goes nothing!

I closed my eyes and focused hard as I was nearing the ground. Before I hit the ground I stopped in mid air with black flames coming from my feet.

Ryu: Phew. That was way to close.

Shojo: It's a miracle that your Mangekyo lets you do that.

Ryu: Well it uses to much Chakra.

I flew to were Deidara was and punched him in the face before landing on the ground panting.

Deidara: You- *Pant* Can fly?!

Ryu: *Pant* Well since you already saw it *pant* and won't live to tell about it, no harm done. Yes, the Amaterasu flames I have can be used in various ways such as that.

Deidara: *Grunt* So then you could have just flew over all of the mines the entire time?

Ryu: There was no need to waste any more chakra than I needed. Now it's time to die.

He tried sending snakes at my ankles, but I electrocuted them and it was about to get you him before he cut them off.

Ryu: It's useless.

It took out my blade and was about to run to finish him but suddenly, I dropped to the floor in pain.

Ryu: ARGH!!

Shojo: What is this?!

Ryu: C-Can't... move!

Deidara: Heh... Hahahahaha. Well I don't know what just happened, but it looks like I still win.

I glared at him making him angry.

Deidara: It's those eyes again. Your still calm. That is what annoys me the most about you AND Itachi!!! You think your just so cool!!!

Shojo: Ladies and gentlemen, Deidara's brain has finally left the building.

Deidara: Those eyes! Those overconfident eyes! Always judging my art! I'll never forgive them for that!

Ryu: Look I couldn't care less about any art at this moment.

I retracted my Sharingan.

Ryu: There, better?

Deidara: Do you really take me that likely?!

He ripped off his shirt and revealed a third stitched mouth were his heart should be.

Shojo: Oh God not again! Am I just gonna have puke every time there's-

He pulled out the string as the mouth started eating the clay. Shojo couldn't take it anymore and puked for the second time in the span of 3 days.

Ryu: Come on damn it! Why can't I just move?!

Deidara began turning transparent and his veins became visible.

Deidara: This time I'm going to detonate myself! In death I will become art itself! No ones seen an explosion like this! It will leave behind a scar on the very earth itself!

Ryu: 'DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!'

Deidara: Because my Art, IS AN EXPLOSION!!!

Deidara has fully disappeared and all that remained was the black orb where the mouth was. It started to crack alarming me.

Ryu: Crap! I won't be able to teleport in time!

The orb fully cracked making a massive explosion.

The explosion had started and I managed to summon up a Susanoo Skeleton to take the brunt of some of the damage.

Ryu: 'No use! Too weak to stage it further!'

The explosion engulfed me as it had also knocked me into the air.

3rd Person POV

Suigetsu: That's not good!

Suigetsu was the first to see the explosion.

Sasuke: Oh no! Ryu!!

They all ran back as fast as they could and saw the massive crater.

Haku: Where's his body?!

Sasuke: Up there!

Sasuke saw Ryu falling down from the sky. He lept up to catch him and landed with worry in his eyes.

Sasuke: Hey come on, say something!!

His eyes opened slowly.

Ryu: S-Sasuke? Is everyone alright?

Haku: We're all fine but you need to be healed now!

Ryu: G... Guys... I'm not sure if anything can help me now. As much as I want to I just can't will myself up.

Haku: Placed her hands on Ryu's chest and tried to heal him.

Haku: Ryu please! Don't leave us!

Suigetsu: Come on you can pull through man!

Sasuke: Come on your always able to get back up! You never stay down! You've never faced any challenge that you couldn't overcome so why not now?!!

Ryu: Sorry Sasuke... I guess I can't help you out. Haku, I-I didn't plan to leave you like this... Please, forgive- me.....

His arm went limp as his eyes closed.

Haku: Ryu? RYU!!!!

Sasuke: No... This has to be some kind of nightmare!

Sasuke repeatedly punched the ground and yelled. Haku was over Ryu's dead body crying. Suigetsu gritted his teeth and tears fell down his eyes. Sasuke's eyes had evolved into the Mangekyo as he repeatedly punched the ground again and again, while Haku's hair had turned fully white without the Curse Mark and her eyes turned a light shade of blue.

Elsewhere.

???: .....up..... wake up..... Wake up..... WAKE UP YOU IDIOT!!!!

Ryu's eyes shot open as he saw that he was in complete darkness again.

Ryu: Oh for Gods sake not this again. Wait where did that voice come from?! Who else is there?!

???: I'm right over here.

Ryu turned behind him to see nothing.

Ryu: What the- I don't see anything but this black void around me.

???: Check again.

From the ground came up a figure that looked very familiar to Ryu.

Himself. Only that he looks like he's using Shojo's power.

Ryu: What the heck is this? Why do you look like me?

???: Technically I am you.

Ryu: What?

???: Well, didn't you ever wonder where the black part came when you used Shojo's Chakra?

Ryu: Wait Shojo where are you?!!!!

Shojo: Right here.

He looked behind him and breathed a sigh of relief.

Ryu: I thought it was always just me.

???: Bz, wrong. That part had always came from me.

Ryu: And who exactly are you?

???: My name? Well your powerful and resilient so you've at least earned that. It's pretty funny since we're in this place. My name is Shadow.

Ryu: Shadow?

Shadow: Sorry but you can ask questions later kid, right now you've gotta get your ass back in the living world.

Ryu: How am I supposed to do that? I literally can't. I'm pretty sure even I can't cheat death that easily.

Shadow: Oh really? Wanna bet?

Shadow appeared in front of Ryu and clapped right in front of his face. Ryu had gotten so startled that he jolted right back up in the real world.

Ryu: A-Am I really alive?

Everyone had seen him get up and they had tackled him into a hug.

Ryu: OW!!!!

Sasuke: You looser!!

Haku: You're really alive!!

Suigetsu: Damn it don't scare us like that!

Ryu: Hey guys come on knock it off!

They had all gotten off of him and Haku kissed Ryu with tears still flowing down her eyes.

Ryu: Wait Haku, what happened to you?

Haku: *Sniff* What do you mean?

Ryu: Did you not notice that your hair color changed?

She looked at her white hair. It slowly reverted back to normal after she noticed.

Haku: I don't know.

Sasuke's eyes had finally went back to normal but Ryu had noticed he had awakened the Mangekyo.

Ryu: Wait you unlocked the Mangekyo?

Sasuke: I did?

Suigetsu: Ok not to kill the mood now but HOW DID YOU SURVIVE?

Ryu: Long story, I'll tell you on the way cause right now...

He looked at his outfit and it was completely torn up.

Ryu: We should probably find a good place to set up camp.

Ryu got up and was about to start walking before he stumbled. Luckily Haku caught him before he hit the ground.

Ryu: Whew. Thanks. Lost my sense of balance there.

Sasuke: I think it's more than that.

Haku: Your completely out of it. Your injured everywhere-

Haku also fell back and Sasuke caught her.

Haku: That white haired power might have taken a little out of me.

Ryu: By the way Sasuke you might wanna be ready for a bit of a headache.

Sasuke: Why?

Ryu: Cause that what happens when you unlock the Mangekyo.

The pain slowly dawned on Sasuke as he clutched his head.

Sasuke: Thanks for the warning.

Ryu stood by himself gaining some balance back.

Ryu: Ok. I think I'm-

He dropped to one knee.

Ryu: Nope definitely not.

Ryu: What going on?

Sasuke: It's finally time.

Itachi: If you beat me, I'll tell you the truth Sasuke.

Ryu: What's- happening- TO ME?!!!

Sasuke: Next Time: Ryu&Sasuke Vs Itachi: The Hungry Wolf Awakens.
