Ryu POV

Ryu: Wait why are you in the hospital Kakashi?

Kakashi: Well funny story actually. You see, during our little battle with Deidara and Sasori, I used the Mangekyo Sharingan. It was a little taxing, so I have to stay in the hospital for a little bit.

Haku: Well I guess we need to find someone to lead the next-

Haku hand shot straight to the blanket over Kakashi's face and pulled it down. When she did, he had a bodysuit that still covered his face.

Haku: Oh come on!

Kakashi: That was meant for Naruto, but you work too.

Ryu: Moving on, I wonder how Sasuke is doing right about now.

Haku: Can't you just teleport to him?

Ryu: No, that would just interrupt him from anything he does. I'll let him have his peace of mind for now. Now like I was saying, we really need to find a suitable replacement.

Kakashi: Why not yourself?

Haku: Yeah Ryu you'd do fine.

Ryu: I was getting to that part. I won't be able to because I have a mission I'll have to do. Get this, Tsunade wants me to see how I do training a squad.

Kakashi: Looks like you'll be getting a taste of what being a real Sensei is like.

Haku: Well sadly I won't be able to come, Lady Tsunade says she has a mission for Kai Mei and I.

???: Well, looks like Tsunade is gonna have to find a few replacements.

I looked at the window and saw Jiraiya.

Ryu: Ok Jiraiya either you dropped in to give more Make our Tactics to Kakashi or something else has come up.

Jiraiya: We can talk when Kira Tsunade and her man get here.

I was confused when he said her man but I just shrugged it off.

Time Skip!

Tsunade: Alright I'm here.

Kakashi: Just come in.

Tsunade walked in with Kira and some other guy.

Ryu: No disrespect, but who are you?

???: My name is Yamato.

Ryu: I'm guessing you'll be Kakashi replacement?

Yamato: Yes. And no offense but it looks like your friend was a little... hot blooded.

Ryu: Which one?

Yamato: Naruto.

Ryu: Well at least it was only one of them. But why? Who else was there?

Tsunade: A member from the foundation.

Haku: What?!

Ryu: Are you crazy?!

Kira: You do know that it's run by Danzo right?!

Tsunade: Yes I still wish that I had chosen Ryu. But SOMEONE wanted you to stay just in case something happened.

Ryu: Shizune?

Tsunade: I will not name names.

Kira: Anyway that's not what we're here to talk about.

Tsunade: If he is to be leading your team Kakashi, I want him to know exactly what he's dealing with.

Yamato: Hm?

Jiraiya: What we're about to tell you is the main reason we selected you as Kakashi's replacement.

Haku: Is it about Naruto?

Kira: Yes, but also about you too Ryu.

Ryu: What?

Kakashi: You already know that Naruto has the Nine Tails Fox Spirit inside of him right? And Ryu with the Immortal Wolf?

Yamato: Right, I do.

Kakashi: There are times when the Nine Tails Chakra leeks from out from Naruto's body and takes on the foxes form. We've been referring to it as the Nine Tails Cloak.

My eyes widened at this as I remembered something that happened 3 years ago.

Flashback!

Ryu POV

Sasuke used a Dragon Flame Jutsu to light a rope of Naruto's shadow clones on fire. The mountain rocks started to burn like wildfire into the water.

Ryu: Holy.

When he came down, I noticed Naruto was leaking a lot more Red Chakra than normal.

Ryu: Uh Shojo, what the heck is going on with Naruto?

Shojo: It's Kurama helping him, sorta.

Ryu: What do you mean-

Naruto summoned up a massive amount of Red Chakra that enveloped his entire body. When he was finally done, the Chakra formed a tail and ears.

Ryu: Ohhhh... That's the first tail. Sasuke might die.

Flashback Over

Ryu: Wait, I don't get it. The last time I saw that cloak was 3 years ago before I left. Naruto might have had more rage in him than usual, but he was still able to keep consciousness and fight.

Kakashi: It appeared during the last mission we had when fighting the Akatsuki.

Ryu: I guess I didn't notice while I fought.

Kira: When he's overcome by his emotions, the demon foxes chakra can unintentionally surface, revealing the 9 Tails Cloak.

Kakashi: Just after the second tail formed, I could feel more of its Chakra trying to surface.

Jiraiya: He can control up to 2 tails with still being able to fight without loosing his head. When the 3rd tail comes up is when you should sweat a little. He starts to fight more violently but he can at least still tell who's a friend and who's a foe.

Kakashi: Judging by the shape it was taking, the number of tails will probably grow. And eventually... they'll be 9.

Jiraiya: That about sums it up.

Ryu: Ok. Jiraiya, you were with him for the longest, how many tails have you seen at once?

He closed his eyes before taking off his jacket.

Jiraiya: In all my years of living, I've come close to death only twice. The first time, I broke six ribs, both arms, and ruptured a handful of internal organs. That was when I was caught doing research in a hot spring, and Tsunade beat me like a drum.

I winced in pain at the thought of getting beat by anyone with the monstrous strength Tsunade had while she only turned her head to the side.

Jiraiya: And the second time...

I saw Jiraiya lifting up his shirt to reveal a ridiculous scar.

Jiraiya: The second was back when Naruto and I were off training together, and the fourth tail appeared.

Ryu: That's not a wound even a figure remotely human looking can make. What the hell did he become?

Jiraiya: I'm not sure if it was a mad dog, or demon. The only thing I can say that it wasn't like the other tails.

Haku: Okay, so what does Ryu have to do with this?

Tsunade: Kira.

Kira: First, let's start with this.

Kira to her jacket of as well and lifted up the back of her shirt to reveal a scar much worse than Jiraiya's. It ran from the bottom of her back, to probably her shoulder. It looked like it was made by claws that were razor sharp and went somewhat deep.

Ryu: When, and how the heck did I leave that scar on you?

Kira: Well, it was two years ago when we were training. You dropped to the floor out of exhaustion and just laid there for a second. The next thing I knew, you got up again but the look in your eyes were different from anything I had ever seen.

Ryu: Shojo?

Shojo appeared in the room with a confused look on her face.

Shojo: To be honest, I'm not fully sure what happened back then either. Usually I'm there, even when your out of control.

Shonen: That's because something else happened.

Ryu: What exactly happened?

Kira: After you got up, you started to glow and change. It's a really hard to explain but, you looked almost... demonic.

Ryu: Was I using any Jutsū?

Kira: No. Not even the Sharingan. Just the brute force of that form was enough to take me down. I'm not sure how I survived, but luckily I did. It still taking time for this scar to go away though.

Ryu: Well looks like there's more to me than even I know.

Tsunade: In any case we should find out what triggers this.

Jiraiya: Who would've known kids like you and Naruto would still have reserves like this? Kind of freaky when you think about what you could do if you put your mind to it.

Yamato: Well this was good to be informed about. I'll have to leave now. We need to get going.

Ryu: By the way Lady 5th, which squad will I actually be training?

Tsunade: I'm glad you asked. It will be team Ebisu.

Ryu: You me a the team that Konohamaru is on?

Tsunade: Yes.

Ryu: My day just got a whole lot better.

Time Skip!

Ryu: So they'll be at training fields 7?

Tsunade: Yes. They should be there right about now. They won't know your the one who's going to be training them, so they should be quite pleased. For their sake, go easy on them.

Ryu: If I don't I might hurt one of them, so I'll have to. Wish me luck.

I teleported to training field 7 and met with Konohamaru Moegi and Udon.

Ryu: Sup kids. I'll be your mentor for a little bit.

Konohamaru: Ryu!!

Moegi: You mean your going to be the one who trains us?

Udon: That's great!

Ryu: Alright before anything, your all gonna have to do a little exercise.

I pulled out three bells from my bag.

Konohamaru: Bells?

Ryu: This is a teamwork exercise. If you three can even touch the bells, you pass, and I teach each of you one Jutsū. If you fail to get the touch the bells after an hour, you all have to do 1000 push-ups, 1000 sit-ups, and 1000 squats before you can try again.

Udon: But your the best Jonīn is the village, how are we supposed to do that?

Moegi: Your way to strong!

Konohamaru: Come on guys, this'll be a piece of cake!

Ryu: And looks like we've got a Naruto Jr. on our hands. I'll make sure to hold back so you all have some kind of chance.

I placed an alarm down that was set for noon.

Ryu: Ok. Start.

They all jumped into the trees trying to get away.

Ryu: The have brains I'll give them that.

Shojo: How much time will you give them?

Ryu: 10 minutes before I decide weather or not I'll hunt them down.

Time Skip!

Ryu: And 10. Welp, might as well go hunt em-

I caught a Kunai that was thrown at me.

Ryu: Never mind.

Konohamaru: Fire Style: Burning Ash!

Konohamaru came out of nowhere and blew ashes at me. He ignited by bitting down on his teeth hard enough to make sparks and the ash made and explosion.

Ryu: That won't work Konohamaru.

I got my sword and swung it hard enough to disperse the flames. Moegi and Udon threw smoke bombs at Ryu which he caught and threw right back at them.

Ryu: Nope.

All: Transform!!

There was a big puff of smoke that clouded the area for a minute before I saw literally one of the only things they could do to piss me off.

Naruto's blasted sexy Jutsu. The all blew kisses at me and tried to get me flustered. There was a big silence for a while. The wind wasn't even blowing. You could even here a pin drop.

No one POV

Konohamaru: He's open!

They all ran at Ryu to try and take a bell before they stopped dead in their tracks.

Ryu: Heh... Hehehehe...

Shōjō: R-Ryu?

The area started to get clouded in mist as he disappeared from the three Genins visions.

Ryu: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Shojo: And~ he's lost it. The last time he did this was when Naruto tried using that Jutsū in front of while while Haku was there.

Flashback!

Naruto: Come on!! I gotta be able to hit you at least once!!

Ryu: I'm just way to fast for you Naruto.

Haku tried throwing needles at Ryu but he deflected them with ease.

Haku: Ok Naruto whatever you were planing to do now is a good time!

Naruto: Transform!!

Naruto used a transformation Jutsū that he couldn't see through the most before it cleared up. When it did however, he was stopped in a state of shock. Naruto turned into a female, older, and naked version of himself. The teen stopped dead in his tracks and couldn't move. Naruto took that chance to go for an attack.

Naruto: I call that my Sexy Jutsū!

Haku was there looking like she was ready to punch Naruto. That punch Naruto threw at Ryu connected with his face as he didn't bother to dodge. He didn't move back from the punch as it had little to no affect.

Naruto: I GOT YA!!

There was an big silence for a minute before Ryu saw the look on Haku's face: pure hatred towards Naruto. At that point, most covered the entire area. He disappeared into the mist as they both lost track of him.

Naruto: GEH! What going on here?!

Haku: T-This is the hidden mist Jutsu...

Ryu: AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Waves of killer intent had started directing itself to Naruto as he started to shiver and mentally started praying.

Ryu (Rage Broken): Naruto... Uzumaki...!

Naruto: R-Ryu?

He looked behind himself but couldn't find anything. He turned back around as Ryu clapped right in his face. He lost all color in his face as he fell backwards and foamed from the mouth. Ryu grabbed him by the leg and started threw him as hard as he could to the village gates. At that point, he was out cold, and the furious wolf had calmed down. Ryu deactivated the mist and went straight up to Haku.

Ryu: Haku I am so sorry!

Haku: I-It's ok, I'm fine.

Flashback over!

I started sending out waves of killing intent that were so big that it started scaring the kids.

Moegi: I told you this was gonna be a dumb idea Konohamaru!

Udon: I think he's really gonna try to kill us!

Konohamaru: Sorry guys!!

Ryu: Konohamaru~, Moegi~, Udon~!

The three kids started getting closer to each other. Then I came out swinging my sword and I stopped just before I hit one of them. They all looked terrified out of their minds border I smiled.

Ryu: You all pass.

All: HUH?!!!

Ryu: If you didn't notice, look at your hand Konohamaru.

Moegi: What about his-

They looked to see that he was holding one of the bells on my waist. I stabbed my sword down into the ground before releasing the mist.

Ryu: While I was in my rage, Konohamaru managed to grab a hold of the bell while I was swinging my sword. Just barely though.

Konohamaru: All according to plan!

Ryu: Don't lie you did that on pure instinct.

Konohamaru: All according to instincts!

Ryu: Well then like I said, I'll teach you each a Jutsū. But don't get me wrong.

I put my hand on Konohamaru's head before squeezing it.

Ryu: The next time you do that I'll show what I did to Naruto when he tried that on me, got it?!

Konohamaru: GOT IT!!

I let go and smiled.

Ryu: Good.

Time Skip!

Ryu: Alright now that's training them is over it's time I got back to the important things.

Tsunade: Ryu, it's time for you to go with the others, I have a bad feeling for some reason.

Ryu: Alright Lady Hokage, I'm ready to leave anyway.

Ryu: Orochimaru, so they did find you.

Orochimaru: Well Ryu looks like you've grown quite a bit.

Ryu: I'm not the same as I was years ago.

Ryu: Next Time: Reunion of Friends. Until then, Follow Your Ninja Way!
