Ryu: So this is Mount Myoboku huh? Gotta say it's every bit the kind of place I imagined.

Ryu looked bellow the massive mountain as there was a massive waterfall there as well.

Kira: Ryu, we don't have any time to waist.

Ryu: Your rig-

Ryu looked to see Jiraiya and Naruto were nowhere to be found.

Ryu: Where are Naruto and Jiraiya?

Kira: They were summoned to a different branch by the toads.

Ryu: Then who summoned us?

???: I did.

Ryu noticed the massive voice before looking behind him to see a Wolf even bigger than Recede

Ryu: Oh WOW he's definitely more than I expected.

Kira: Ryu, that's the great Sage Wolf Fenrir.

Ryu: Fenrir? You don't mean-

Fenrir: Yes. I am known as the God of Wolves.

Ryu: It's a pleasure to meet you.

Ryu bowed down quickly.

Fenrir: Very polite. The exact opposite of Kira when she first stumbled here.

Kira: Very funny. But Fenrir, we came here for Ryu to learn the Wolf Sage Mode.

Fenrir: So soon? The boy looks younger than you described when he would here.

Kira: Well, we'll have to get a head start. And we might need to use THAT method.

Fenrir: The Leaf must be in grave danger then.

Ryu: Ok what's the method we'll be using? I know the basics of Sage Mode so we can skip the details. I'll need to learn how to draw in Nature Energy and those details. What's the method we'll be using.

Kira: It's a dangerous method I'll say that. If you mess up you could be turned completely evil.

Ryu: Wait what?

Fenrir: You will have to go into a deep meditation. Then you will have to fight against a shadow image of yourself. But the only catches, this you will be much more powerful than the current level you are at. And if you lose, you'll succumb to your own darkness.

Ryu: Well then, if I don't do it, the leaf will be destroyed anyway. Plus, even if it's still me, I know my own moves better than anyone else.

Kira: Ryu, I wish I had half of your will when I first came here. While your fighting you'll be out of control until you can beat your shadow self.

Shojo: I'm betting that your shadow self will actually be Shadow.

Ryu: Of course it will be.

Fenrir: Who is this Shadow?

Kira: Yeah this is a new one to me too.

Ryu: Well he's technically me but a lot more of a jackass.

Kira: Well good luck Ryu.

Ryu: Thanks. If he's gonna try then I'll need it.

Ryu sat down before meditating. After 10 seconds, a black Aura came shooting out of him in the real world.

Fenrir: This is impossible!! This Shadow character must indeed be a powerful force!

With Ryu.

Ryu opened his eyes and saw that he was in a void world.

Ryu: Alright Shadow, come on out.

In a black flash Shadow appeared in front of Ryu.

Shadow: So Ryu, you really had the balls to confront me. You either brave of completely crazy.

Ryu: It was only a matter of time until today Shadow. And you knew it.

Shadow: Well, your not wrong.

Ryu got into his fighting stance before activating his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and his Beast Chakra.

Shadow: Oh that's just cute. You think you can use the power you don't even understand yourself.

Ryu: Are you gonna fight or what?

Shadow: Hmph. If you insist.

Shadow began to glow in black Chakra before he transformed into the Demon Wolf State.

Ryu: What even is that?

Shadow: Well I affectionately refer to it as the Hellhound Form.

Ryu: 'Well going in head first isn't an option here. And Shadow must know my weaknesses too. So I'll have to think not like me.'

Shojo: Ryu just attack.

Ryu: Screw it going for broke.

Ryu started glowing in a black and red light before an armored Susanoo appeared around him.

Shadow: Oh wow you actually did it!

Ryu: 'Ok better try and end this fast.'

Ryu immediately created a Scythe and swung it at Shadow but he moved out of the way. Inside the Susanoo Ryu had hand signs.

Ryu: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!!

The massive Susanoo let out a Fireball towards the Wolf.l but he dodged the attack again easily.

Ryu: This Susanoo doesn't have the mobility to catch him.'

Outside!

Kira and Fenrir we're outside trying to contain Ryu who became more and more like a Wolf by the minute.

Kira: Man this is just like 2 years ago when he lost control.

Fenrir: This boy is much more of a threat than I originally thought Kira. You may have to stop holding back.

Kira: Thats what's worrying me. Sorry Ryu. This is gonna hurt you more than it does me.

Kira jumped on top of Fenrir and started meditating before markings began to appear on her face. When she opened her eyes she had slits for older pupils. Her canines grew as well as well as her hair.

Kira: I didn't think I'd have to resort to this level of Sage mode so quickly.

Shonen: It only proves that Ryu is also growing at a different rate.

She quickly went behind Ryu and axe kicked him upside the head.

Back in the Void World!

Ryu was taking a barrage of kicks from Shadow who was unrelenting in his assault.

Shadow: MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!! MUDA!!!!!!!!!

His final kick broke through the defense of the Susanoo. This resulted in Ryu being sent back and the armory disappearing.

Shojo: Well that was at least better than I thought.

Ryu: 'It wasn't good enough though.'

Shadow: Pfft! Are you actually going to put up a good fight or will I just take control of your body without the need to dirty my hands longer.

Ryu: Damn it all... I won't let you just take my identity... without at least putting up a good fight!

Ryu began to glow in a pure yellow light as winds started gathering around him.

Ryu: THAT'S NOT THE KIND OF PERSON I AM!!!

The small winds started to become raging gales as Shadow smirked.

Shadow: Looks like I'm getting a REAL a fight after all. Come on Ryu! Show what you can really do!!

Ryu stood up with a new determination towards Shadow.

Outside!

Kira continued fighting the controlled Ryu for a day straight.

Kira: This is insane! Not only have we been at this since yesterday but the pricks gotten even stronger!

She took one of the attacks head and and was kicked back. She regained her footing on a tree and smiled.

Kira: 'But the fact that he hasn't gotten any stronger than this can mean only one thing.'

She jumped of the tree towards to wild wolf.

Kira: 'Ryu's putting up one hell of a fight! So I can't just give up while he's going above and beyond to stay in the fight! You can do it bro!'

She bashed Ryu with her shoulder sending him back onto the ground.

Back in the Void World!

Ryu grabbed his sword from his back and gripped it tightly. In an instant he was in front of Shadow who wasn't ready for the level of speed Ryu displayed. Ryu swung his blade upwards slashing across Shadows chest. He went for a second slash but Shadow jumped back.

Shadow: 'I never expected Ryu could draw out some of his own potential. You can't just do that with effort alone. He really could be more powerful then the Hokage. And even more.'

As soon as Shadow landed on the ground Ryu was right in front of him. Instead of trying to dodge an attack, Shadow extended his claws ready to attack. In response, Ryu brought out his machetes and met the slash with one of his own. They both started exchanging attacks as sparks flew everywhere. And much to the shock of Shadow, Ryu was the one gaining ground. This was due to the enhanced vision of the Sharingan coupled with his own reaction time.

Ryu: 'If I cant finish this off soon then I'll be completely out of Chakra.'

Shojo: The fact you can even keep going with the strain your putting on yourself is ridiculous already.

Ryu: 'He's got the advantage in raw strength. So I can't get into a Taijutsu battle... I GOT IT!'

Ryu kicked off of Shadow as he flew straight into the air.

Ryu: 'Thank you Mangekyou.'

Ryu clenched his fist hard drawing blood. He then started charging up a White Wolf Claw.

Shadow: Oh right the Wolves Claw. And the Scarlet Boost.

Ryu began flying at Mach speeds toward Shadow.

Shadow: All I to do is dodge and I can-

Shadow immediately found himself unable to move his leg. Ryu then struck Shadow as a surge of electricity surrounded the two.

Shadow: ... You got me when we were slashing at each other didn't you?

Ryu: Yup. Don't mess with the Lone Wolf.

Shadow laughed before light surrounded him.

Shadow: You won by pure luck having some of that untapped potential of yours slipping through.

Ryu: Thats what that was?

Shojo: What else could it have been?!

Ryu: I dunno. I thought Shadow just got too cocky.

Shadow: *Sarcastically* Yeah, and your sister totally didn't beat your ass while we fought.

Ryu: Say what now?

Shadow: Well I'm a man if my word. I'll let you get in on some extra power. It'll transfer over to that Sage Mode you'll have. But I'll tell you this now. Do not get us killed.

Ryu: Wouldn't dream of it.

Shadow smirked and disappeared as Ryu's glow also started to fade.

Ryu: Wow I'm tapped out. Mentally at least.

Shojo: Well, you should have conquered Sage Mode at least.

Ryu: Well I'll just... How do I drop out of here?

Shojo: Oh, I can help with that.

Shojo made herself tangible as she clapped straight in Ryu's face.

Outside!

The out of control Ryu stopped dead in his tracks much to the confusion of Kira. Fenrir however smirked.

Fenrir: The boy is something special alright.

Kira smiled knowing what this meant. In a bright yellow light, Ryu started to take back control of his body. And markings began to appear on his face as his hair also slightly grew.

Kira: Yup. That's the look of a Perfect Wolf Sage.

Ryu opened his eyes with blue pupils and red irises.

Ryu: So this is the power of a sage huh?

Fenrir: Good. And it seems your Beast Chakra even infused itself with the form. Now we can skip straight to lesson 3.

Ryu: I have to fight Kira right?

Kira: Yup. And word of advice, this is gonna be tougher than those others pars we had.

Ryu: Kira, I gotta apologize in advance for whats about to happen.

Kira: And why's that?

Ryu: Because I don't know how to hold back like this!

Ryu disappeared from Kira and Fenrir's visions. In seconds, he reappeared in front of Kira with red lightning shrouding his fist.

Kira: 'CRAP!!'

Kira brought up her arms in a blocking position before an explosion occurred. When the smoke cleared up, it revealed Kira behind a red wall but half of that wall being destroyed. But along with it, the top right half of her outfit was ruined.

Kira: Phew. A boosted Mug Wall came in handy. Without that it would've hurt.

Fenrir: I haven't seen you use that move for a long time.

Kira: That wasn't very nice. My favorite outfit is wrecked now Ryu.

Shonen: That's not the only thing.

Behind Kira, there was a massive crater from the force of Ryu's attack.

Kira: My little bro's a terrifying force, that's definitely for sure. And yet...

Ryu was sleeping on the ground lightly snoring.

Kira: He's still so kind.

Kira picked up Ryu and slung him over her back.

Kira: Well Fenrir, think we should call it a day?

Fenrir: More like 3 days. The caves are already prepared.

Kira smiled before she jumped off to a cave in the north. When they finally got to a cave, Kira let Ryu down near a fire. She later laid beside him and patted his head.

Kira: Sleep well Ryu.

Naruto: The Leaf has been completely decimated...

???: Does this send you blood through the roof? Well Wolf?

???2: You WILL join us. Weather you want to or not.

Pain: You will know true pain.

Ryu: Thats it, no more playing games.
