Ryu POV

The three days left for the exam to start had passed and Haku and I felt more than ready to take on all the challenges there.

Ryu: Well Haku looks like its time.

Haku: On a scale of 1 to 10, how ready do you think we are? Personally I think a 10.

Ryu: 15. Pretty sure no Genin there could pose a challenge. Except for one.

Haku: The guy with the gourd on his back?

Ryu: Yeah, but if all goes wrong I have a few tricks up my sleeve.

Haku: Like what?

Ryu: You'll see, let's just get there.

Haku then grabbed on to my arm and we teleported to team 7.

Ryu: Sup.

Haku: Hi.

They jumped slightly less than what they usually did when I appear.

Sakura: Oh hey Ryu.

Naruto: You decided to take the exam too!

Sasuke: Of course he did, he never misses a challenge like this.

Ryu: You know it. Let's go.

We then walked inside the building. When we went in I immediately noticed there was a Genjutsu nearby but didn't point it out. When we walked in to the "3rd Floor" I saw some kid with a bowl cut and bushy eyebrows get beat up. I could tell right away that he was faking being weak, I could tell by the presence I sensed from him.

???: Are you kidding? Your planning to take the Chunin exams but you can't get past us?

???: Why Don't you just give up now before you get hurt.

???: Yeah I think I hear your mommy calling ya.

???: Please let us through we're supposed to go in there!

I saw a girl with her hair in two buns go up to them but got punched in the face.

Ryu: 'Alright that's where I draw the line.'

Other Genin: That's harsh.

Jerk Genin: Did you say harsh? The-

In an instant I stepped in front of the Genin and punched him in the stomach making him spitting out blood. I pulled my fist back and glared at the other one.

Ryu: Take your friend and leave, and while your at it undo the genjutsu.

Other Jerk Genin: You think we're just gonna roll over like that?

Sasuke: I'll handle this one.

I moved aside letting Sasuke handle this and they rushed at each other. Then other one rushed at me and I was ready to attack. Before Sasuke and the other one could attack each other, the bowl cut guy grabbed both of their legs.

Ryu: So you were pretending to be weak.

I was saying this as I held a throwing knife at the other ones throat.

Ryu: 'This guy is actually pretty quick, but something about him reminds me of someone.'

???: Hey what happened to the plan. I thought you were the one who told us not to show our skill level.

???: I know but.

Girl who got punched: Never mind it's over.

He then walked over to the direction of Haku and Sakura.

Bushy Brows: My name is Rock Lee. You are Sakura and Haku right?

Sakura: Huh?

Haku: Yeah.

Lee: Please one of you be my girlfriend! I vow to protect you with my life!

Sakura: Definitely... not.

Haku: I think I'll pass...

Naruto: Hey Ryu are you okay?

Ryu: Huh? Yeah I'm fine why?

Naruto: Because you have a vein on your head.

I then touched my forehead to feel a vein there and got back my cool.

Ryu: I don't know what your talking about.

???: Hey you two, over here.

Sasuke and I turned to see a guy with white eyes. I removed my knife from the others throat and told him to leave or I go or I'd rip him in half.

Sasuke: It's common curtesy to give your own name before asking.

???: Hey your a rookie aren't you? How old are you two.

Ryu: Don't feel like sharing my age with some random guy, so unless you got business with me beat it.

???: What was that?

I then noticed something about his cent and realized something.

Ryu: Wait a second, you and your team were the ones that were watching me before.

He then blinked a few times in surprise that I figured it out so quickly.

Ryu: Now give me back my knife.

He then reached for his bag and gave me back my throwing knife.

Ryu: Alright Naruto stop sulking and let go.

We then all walked to the third floor.

We were on our way to the third floor until we got stopped.

???: Hey you two with the attitudes, over here.

I turned to see that Rock Lee guy again.

Ryu: 'This guy again?'

Shojo: Sure seems persistent.

Sasuke: What do you want?

Lee: I want to fight. Right here and right now.

Ryu: Your challenging me?

Lee: Yes.

He then jumped down off the railing.

Lee: My name is Rock Lee. You both said it was common courtesy for a challenger to give their own name first right? Sasuke Uchiha and Ryu Namikaze.

Ryu: So you know us. But do you know the other name I'm known as?

Lee: The Lone Wolf of the Leaf. I challenge you. Everyone is always talking about the Uchiha and Namikaze clan and how great they are. I want to see if it is true and thought you would be a great year for me. And also.

He turned to Sakura and Haku. They both shivered at the sight of him.

Lee: Oh Sakura and Haku, I love you!

They both screamed so loud that I was holding my ears in pain.

Sakura: THOSE EYEBROWS CANT BE REAL!!

Haku: I TOLD YOU IM NOT INTERESTED!!

Lee: You two are angels sent from heaven.

He then blew a heart at both of them. They narrowly dodged it.

Lee: That was a good move, but let us see you dodge this!

He then sent a flurry of hearts at them.

Naruto: Hey Ryu, yours vein is back.

I felt my head to fell another vein. I regained my composure and went back to keeping my cool.

Ryu: Seriously man what do you mean?

I saw that Sakura had a bump on her head and Haku did a reverse handspring to dodge her last heart.

Sakura: KEEP YOUR CREEPY LITTLE VALENTINES TO YOURSELF, WE WERE DODGING FOR OUR LIVES THERE!

Haku: DON'T EVER TRY THAT AGAIN!

Lee: You do not have to be so negative Sakura and Haku.

I then saw Naruto with a look that just screamed "I'm fed up with being the one who gets ignored!"

Naruto: HOLD IT!! I get him first, this weirdo is mine.

Sasuke: Go for it.

Ryu: No ones stopping you.

Sakura: Naruto-!

Naruto: What? It'll take me two minutes to have this guy begging for mercy.

Lee: No thank you. The only ones I want to fight are them.

Naruto then went rushing at Lee but parried his punch. Naruto then went for a kick but Lee dodged and swept his leg.

Lee: Leaf Whirlwind!

Naruto then went spiraling to the wall.

Lee: You see Ryu and Sasuke, our of all the top Leaf Genin I am the best-

Ryu: Alright Sasuke I get first dibs. If you think your the best then prepare to be surprised.

I then got into my fighting stance.

Haku: Ryu we don't have the time for this.

Sakura: Yeah we have less then half an hour to register.

Ryu: Don't worry I'll end this in 1 minute.

I then started walking towards him.

3rd person POV

Lee: 'Here he comes. Forgive me Guy Sensei, I know it is forbidden, but I just might have to use that Jutsu!

Ryu POV

Lee then started rushing towards me at surprising speeds.

Ryu: 'The heck?!'

Lee: Leaf Hurricane!!

He spun and was about to hit me with a strong roundhouse kick but I ducked out of the way. He then got ready to do another kick. I tried to put my hands up but it was to late, he got me with a kick to the face, sending me flying.

Haku: Ryu!

I was able to stabilize myself and flip back upright before falling. I paused for a moment to rub my cheek.

Ryu: Huh, it's been a while since someone was able to land a clear blow to my face. It's kinda refreshing. Hehe.

Shojo: Your about to take him seriously aren't you?

Ryu: 'Oh Yeah.'

I then activated my Sharingan.

Sakura: Woah! He's in trouble now!

Haku: 'Ryu's getting serious. There's no way that will beat him now.'

I then flashed to Lee at speeds even greater than his and Lee charged at me as well. I was clearly at an advantage when it came to speed so I went on the offensive. I went for a kick to Lee and he barely dodged it. It left a scrape on his cheek which distracted him enough for me to punch him in the face. He got sent back but he landed on his feat.

Lee: That was a powerful punch, I could actually feel that. But it's not enough.

Ryu: I figured it out, your only using straight Taijutsu. Your just this physically strong on your own.

Lee: That is Right. I'm using only martial arts.

He then went even faster than before going behind me.

Ryu: You little-

I tried to back fist him but he got out of the way before I could hit him.

Ryu: You know your definitely reminding me of someone-

He caught me off guard and hit me with a punch to my side.

Lee: You see Ryu I believe there are 2 types of people. Those who are born with talent and do not have to work for it, and those like me, the ones who have to train every day of our lives! The fact is your sharingan is the worst match for my extreme Taijutsu!

He wasn't wrong, my last three hits missed him.

Lee: Here's what I mean! HYAAA!!

Ryu: 'Damn no time to dodge! I have to block it!'

I put up my guard fast enough but he was able to push me up into the air.

Ryu: 'What brute strength!'

He then appeared behind me in mid air.

Ryu: Dancing Leaf Shadow huh? Thanks for the technique.

Lee: Good eye, Now I will prove my point. That hard work surpasses raw talent.

His bandages started to unravel but I wasn't gonna have any of that.

Ryu: You came far I'll say that, but it's as far as you'll go.

I took out one of my special kunai and threw it behind him. I then used the Flying Raijin to teleport behind him grabbing his arm.

Ryu: It's over.

Before I could throw him down I saw a pinwheel stick his bandages to a wall.

Ryu: What the?

???: Alright that's enough Lee!

Before I could do anything else Lee grabbed my arm and threw me. I spun before landing on my feat.

Ryu: Alright who the-

I then turned to see a turtle with a headband.

Ryu: Wait a minute...

Lee: You were watching us the whole time?

Turtle: Of course! That last technique is forbidden, you know that!

Lee: I'm sorry! I was not planning to use a forbidden Jutsu! It was just I was in the middle of the fight and I was facing such a strong opponent!

Naruto: I'm right! It really is his Sensei!

Ryu: No Naruto, it isn't! Although I'm pretty sure I know who is!

I saw Sasuke gritting his teeth since he knew he would have lost to Lee.

Ryu: 'If he's angry imagine how I feel! I was gonna win if it wasn't for the turtle!'

Turtle: Are you ready to face the punishment for your actions?!

Lee: I- Yes sir...

Turtle: Alright then! Come on out-

Ryu: Don't you say it!

Turtle: -Gai Sensei.

Ryu: Mutha Fu-

A huge puff of smoke came from its back revealing who I hopped it wouldn't be.

Gai: HEY WHAT SHAKIN?! How you doin everybody~, life treating ya good?

I then looked at the others and they were in complete and utter shock at Gai.

Naruto: HE'S GOT THE BIGGEST EYEBROWS YET! THERE ALMOST ALIVE!!

Gai: Hi Lee!

Ryu: I freakin knew it! I've only ever seen that kind of  haircut and bushy eyebrows from you Gai!

Naruto: So that's where he gets it from!

Lee: Hey! do not insult Gai Sensei! He is one of the greatest men in The entire world!

Ryu: Great?! The only thing great about him is that he's a Jonin! That's all he's got going for him! Unless you count those bushes that are his eyebrows!

Lee: What did you say?!

Gai: Give it a rest Lee.

Lee then turned back to Gai. While that was going on Haku walked beside me.

Haku: So who is this guy anyway?

As I was about to explain Gai punched Lee in the face. Then the other four were shocked at this act of foolishness and violence. He then walked over to Lee.

Gai: I'm sorry Lee but it was for your own good.

Lee: S-Sensei.

Ryu: I cannot believe I almost had trouble with such a goofball. Naruto if you say this is nice how they made up I swear to God I will slap you with my Machete.

He then shut up at my threat. Gai and Lee continued to cry and ceased the hugging.

Gai: Your just caught in between. To old to be a boy and not yet quite a man!

Lee: You are so good to me, Guy Sensei!

Gai: Now take of! I want you to give me 100 laps around the practice field, SHOW ME WATCHA GOT!

Lee: YES SIR! NO PROBLEM!

Haku: Okay no! We have the exams to do this can wait until after the exams!

Gai: Ohhh, Your right I forgot about that! Your right this'll have to wait until the exams are over.

Sakura: ... Their insane.

Haku: Yep...

Naruto: Probably but what's the deal with that turtle?

Ryu: You haven't seen insane with them.

He then looked over to us.

Gai: Tell me how is Kakashi Sensei?

Sasuke: Do you know him?

I then rolled my eyes at him.

Gai: Do I know Kakashi? Well people say: He Ryu and I are arch rivals for all eternity.

Ryu: Don't bring me into that mess!

Naruto&Sakura: THERES JUST NO WAY!!

Lee: How dare you! Gai Sensei has deemed you worthy of-

Gai: Let it go Lee, a ninjas actions always speak louder than words.

Just then he sped around at high speeds. With only me and Haku noticing we looked behind us to see him.

Gai: My record is 50 wins and 49 losses. Which is one better than Kakashi's by the way.

They were shocked to see that he was behind us and even more so to hear that he was beating Kakashi.

Sasuke: What?!

Naruto: Gah, you kidding?! How did he beat Kakashi?!

Gai: The fact is I'm stronger than Kakashi, and faster!

Ryu: Yeah but I'm 10 ahead of both of you so there. And you might be faster than Kakashi, but your sure as hell never gonna match my speed.

I then circled around him twice.

Gai: Circling around me once is a great feat.

Ryu: Ha, That was 2 times.

Gai: Anyway I'm sorry for any trouble Lee caused you. Look into my eyes and except my sincere apology. Also notice my-

I then pulled out a roll of tape and covered Gai's mouth with it.

Ryu: You done?

He then nodded.

Ryu: Good.

I then let out a sigh of relief.

Ryu: This might hurt.

I then pulled off the tape from Gai's mouth. He screamed in absolute pain from the tape coming off of his mouth.

Gai: Lee you should accompany these fine young ninja to the classroom, right now.

He then threw a kunai to take out the pinwheel. I looked at Lee's hand to see that it looked like it was burnt and stitched in one place.

Gai: Remember to give it your all!

Lee: Yes sir!

He then disappeared along with the turtle.

Ryu: Hey Lee, you aren't the strongest person on your team are you?

Lee: How could you tell?

Ryu: Cause it didn't feel like you were comparing yourself to me but someone else.

He then nodded his head.

Lee: That is correct. I came here to defeat him, I thought you would just be practice but it appears you may be as strong as him if not more.

Ryu: Well I'm still at the top so it doesn't matter. Let's go. And I hope you four learned something today: never judge a book by its cover.

Lee: But before we go I must know, did you use your full power against me?

Ryu: Not entirely. I don't want to reveal all of my tricks now do I? But your still strong nonetheless.

Lee: Now you are our target. My team and I will crush you consider yourself warned.

He then jumped off. I then was visibly pissed.

Ryu: Crush me huh? He must not have learned his place.
