Ryu was at his home preparing as he looked at his Shinobi headband.

Shojo: Hard to part with it?

Ryu: This thing holds a lot of memories. Since I am Hokage I don't actually have to wear it, but it's still weird to me.

???: You know what they say, hold habits die hard.

He looked back and saw Jiraiya and Kira.

Ryu: Yeah, I guess they do.

Kira: So, we heard from Kai that someone has Yang Release now.

Ryu: Uh huh.

Jiraiya: Maybe it's because of those new eyes you have.

Ryu: Most likely. Supposedly the Rinnegan grants that and Yin Release as well.

Jiraiya: I see. Well maybe the other half of just waiting inside of you. But you need to be careful as well. Who knows when someone might try to steal your Rinnegan.

Ryu: Yeah well, I don't tend to let anyone get out of my line of sight and my sensory field can pretty much be on par the the Byakugan.

Kira: Still, if you let you're guard down for even a moment it'll be bad news.

Ryu: I know. Anyway, I won't be at the battle, but I'll find some way to help out.

Kira: I think I may know one.

Ryu: And that is?

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu had his Amaterasu flames under his feet allowing him to fly as he was sensing around in a rainforest.

Ryu: This better not be some wild goose chase.

Shojo: This a pretty impressive Ryu. You've never been able to use your Amaterasu Jets for this long.

Ryu: I guess we should chock it up to my training and the Rinnegan. Anyway if they really are here I'd be able to sense Chakra that powerful right away. Can you try sensing where the Immortal Beast Chakra's are?

Shojo: Let's see.

Ryu waited in a few moments of silence before Shojo seemed to respond.

Shojo: They're a bit further, but something seems wrong.

Ryu sped up as he was flying even faster than he was on foot. After a few seconds of flying he found both Azure carrying Karma over his shoulder slowly starting to bleed out.

Ryu: The hell?!

He flew down with the black and white haired man hearing the sounds. He looked up seeing Ryu slightly confused.

Azure: I-Is that you... Ryu?

He landed in front of him confused.

Ryu: What the hell happened to you and Karma?! Where's Konan?!

Azure coughed a bit as he fell to a knee.

Azure: Sh-She's dead... Madara got to her, and he almost got us...

He coughed even more as Ryu seemed worried.

Ryu: Shit! Don't know if this will work but gotta give it a try!

Ryu helped out his hand before an odd gate appeared from black flames.

Azure: The King of Hell?

A tongue stuck out towards the two before pulling them both in. After a moment they both shot out being fully healed while Karma was still unconscious.

Ryu: O_O I can't believe that worked.

Azure: ... I'm gonna ignore that sentence, and just say thank you.

Ryu: Ok, but why did he attack you? Matter of fact how the hell did he even FIND you?

Azure: I don't know. But one thing I do is that things are bad. He stole Nagato's Rinnegan.

Ryu: Ohhh that's bad. But I don't get it, you two are both fully Awakened Beast Warriors, how could he have been able to get the drop on both of you?

Azure: You try dealing with a combo of paper bombs, the Uchiha who was powerful to go head to head with the 1st Hokage, and worse of all someone who somehow had enough Sharingan to use Izanagi multiple times.

Ryu: ... Shit no wonder Danzo didn't have that many.

Karma's hand slightly twitched as they both looked at her. She slowly pulled herself up looking around confused before seeing Ryu there.

Karma: Ryu?

Ryu: Hey.

Karma got up looking around frantically.

Karma: WHERE DID MADARA GO?!!

Azure: He's long gone with the eyes by now.

Karma: ... Great. Absolutely perfect. The most powerful Uchiha to ever live now has the Rinnegan and is gonna go fight in the 4th Great Shinobi War.

Ryu: Uhhh, I'm standing right here, and I'm not exactly able to go and fight at the moment.

Karma: Do you really believe in your own hype that much Ryu?

Ryu: Girl I'm the main character in this book. I am the damn hype.

Azure: The hell- Anyway, Karma, he took us both on two on one and we still almost lost. And that was before he had the Rinnegan.

Karma: ... Fair point. More importantly, why are you out here in the rain village?

Ryu: Well I came looking for you two specifically.

Karma: And your reason being?

Ryu: 1: To avoid you two getting killed and your Immortal Spirits being extracted from you for the Ten Tails. And 2: Because I need a little help with something.

Azure: Ok, well what is it you need help with?

Ryu: The 2nd Stage Beast Form. I need you to teach me how to use it so I can join in the fight in the War.

Both Karma and Azure looked at him like he was crazy.

Karma: Wait wait wait Ryu, you may be extremely smart and wise for someone your age, and stronger than either of us, but you have to be reasonable. This form took us until we were your age to enter.

Azure: Just for reference, I'm 20 and she's 22.

Ryu: O_O Wait a damn minute Karma's over 20?

Karma blushed before punching Azure on the shoulder.

Karma: JERK!!

Azure: -_- And I got punched why exactly?

She at Ryu grabbing him by the shoulders tightly.

Karma: Ryu, that information goes no further the here got it?!

Ryu: Uhhh, ok.

She let go of him sighing.

Ryu: What I'm trying to figure out is how you're 5 years older than me and look like a... Karma do you use the Transformation Jutsu?

Karma: What? No, who would do something so dumb?

Ryu: The 5th Hokage that's who. But the important thing is I don't have time to waist. I'll learn that form faster than anyone has before.

Azure picked himself back up.

Azure: *Sigh* Well I guess it's still gonna be hell if we don't so go for broke I guess.

Karma: Azure-

Azure: He's right Karma. We're out of options.

Ryu: Well, where how do we start.

Azure: There's a reason it took us so long. You have to meditate and enter your subconscious. And that's when you actually have to fight your Immortal Spirit.

Ryu/Shojo: Wait what?

Karma: I know, it'll be especially weird for you since your basically best friends with yours but it can't be helped. Kitsune wanted to do nothing but sleep and had to fight with no restraints.

Ryu: So, what exactly will happen if I fail to beat her?

Azure: You'll be put through immense physical and mental pain and won't be able to try again for another year, or access the Chakra from your Immortal Spirit for that time either.

Ryu: You've gotta be fucking with me.

Karma: I wish.

Ryu: ... 'I will take that in a non sexual manner.' *Sigh* Haven't really used it since that day but here goes nothing.

Azure: Just remember, when you're able to subdue it you've gotta pull the Chakra with your own. It's basically like a tug of war.

Ryu: Got it.

He sat down before he began to meditate. After a few seconds he had opened his eyes seeing he was in a green field with clear blue skies.

Ryu: So I guess this is my subconscious now. Becoming one with Shadow must've put me at peace or something cause before it was a pitch black void.

???: Looks like it.

He turned expecting to be met by his usual tiny wolf girl friend but had gotten a much more different form than usual.

A taller one at that.

He looked at who could only be Shojo as she had gone from her usual size of 4'6 to a substantially bigger 6'1.

Ryu: ... Yeah I'm gonna need a detailed explanation of what the fuck is going on her Shojo.

Shojo: This is my actual human form. The one you've always seen was just a casual form to not seem that imposing to others.

Ryu: Well considering you're just 3 inches shorter than me, I'd see why that would work.

Ryu immediately stepped a few meters back.

Ryu: I can already tell that you aren't gonna hold back.

Shojo's expression changed from a serious demeanor to a dark smile.

Shojo: I have had some pent up aggression towards you specifically for all these years. Being trapped in host after host, and even losing memories each time, and Shadows sacrifice brought them all back with a vengeance.

Ryu got into a fighting stance looking keenly.

Ryu: We'll the feelings actually pretty mutual. The fact you were the reason that the village despised me for years of my life pissed me off. And that didn't really help with my trauma being an Uchiha and then the Orochimaru shit. So weather you like it or not I'm gonna go in with everything I've got.

Shojo said nothing more as she slowly began to walk towards him. She disappeared before appearing behind Ryu with her hand extended behind her. Her hand soon began to have veins form in it was her nails becoming razor sharp before swinging at Ryu. Expecting the attack her ducked sweeping her off her feat making her fall to the ground. He grabbed one of his machetes ready to impale her but found that she stopped the blade with her bare hand. She thrusted her other hand towards his face about to land a fatal hit. In the narrow time he had before the claw hit him he chopped off the hand with his free machete before launching himself back.

Ryu: Ok, that was alarming.

Shojo: Are you forgetting where that inhuman regeneration come from.

She got up off the ground before walking over to the severed hand as she took it and placed it back on with it slowly healing a reattaching.

Ryu: Well shit, why don't you just regrow the damn thing?

Shojo: Where'd the point in that be if it's still there? A lot less time and effort.

She held out her other hand as black flames formed before a jet black sword appeared from them.

Ryu: 'Something tells me I shouldn't get hit by that.'

Ryu pulled his mammoth blade off of his back before they ran towards each other before clashing blades. They traveled across the landscape with neither wavering as they soon made it to a source of water. Taking the opportunity Ryu kicked Shojo back quickly weaving hand signs.

Ryu: Water Style: Great Waterfall!

The water behind him swirlies around like a horizontal vortex before going straight towards Shojo carving the ground from the force as well. In response to this she punched the ground in front of her causing it to rise and guide the water over her.

Shojo: Too predictable Ryu. You won't be able to save anyone like that.

She swiped her blade to the water above her cutting it and creating a gap for her to rise up. Ryu put his fingers together creating dozens of Shadow Clones around them with flying Raijin Knives.

Ryu's: How about now?

Shojo: ...

They all threw them at her teleporting and hitting her again and again in rapid succession.

If you've played Storm 4 then think of Edo Minato's Awakened Ninjutsu and times that by 50.

Shojo had began to get cut up as she was unable to keep up with the light speed attacks. When they stopped the clones burst into smoke creating a smoke screen. Shojo tried looking around and heard the sound a familiar attack. Ryu appeared in front of her with a Wolves Claw piercing through her chest.

Ryu: Well looks like I pulled a Kakashi.

He pulled his hand out before grabbing Shojo's tail.

Ryu: Sorry Sho but Imma have to take that Chakra now.

He focused Chakra in his palm grabbing white and red Chakra from her. Shojo smirked looking at Ryu.

Shojo: Bad idea Ryu.

Ryu's blue chakra had seemed to get infected as he was paralyzed.

Ryu: Oh you sneaky little-

He was punched in the face and sent flying back hearing voices in his head.

MONSTER!!

YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE IN THE SAME VILLAGE AS US!!!

BURN HIM!!!!

This began to trigger something in him as his sclera began to turn black.

Shojo: That's right. Why don't you give into the wishes a little. They all wanted you dead anyway. They don't really care about you.

Ryu couldn't move as he only heard the voices. Shojo approached with blade in hand ready to defeat him then and there.

Shojo: Looks like you were weak this time pal. Better luck in a year. IF, you can make it that long.

She rose the sword and swung it at his neck. Before it hit it's mark the blade was shattered by a white one.

Shojo: Yang Release?!

Ryu stood up with a grin on his face.

Ryu: I'll admit, you almost got me there. I did resent the villagers for how they treated me, and I still questioned how they acted after I became the Lone Wolf. But, if you thought for a second I'd let myself give in to someone else's wishes-

His Rinnegan flared as she was pushed back far away.

Ryu: YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!!!!

He appeared behind Shojo shocking the Wolf Spirit.

Shojo: 'He marked my tail!!'

Ryu landed a powerful kick onto Shojo's back and for a moment entered Sage Mode.

Ryu: Sage Art!!

Lightning surrounded his entire arm as it grew to gigantic proportions.

Ryu: Massive Vortex Javelin!!!

Shojo was shot by a lightning bolt more powerful than the actual force of Nature itself. Once again he used the Flying Raijin getting behind Shojo grabbing even more of the Chakra.

Ryu: I'll take the rest of that thank you kindly!!

He flung his arm back pulling the rest of it out as the chakra seemed to whip around many more seconds before entering the teen. After a few seconds it fully entered Ryu as his form changed.

Ryu: Woah.

Shojo seemed to collapse falling onto a knee panting.

Shojo: *Pant* Well, I haven't fought in a few hundred years. *Cough* So I guess it's fine to be beaten the first time around.

Ryu: Shojo!

Instinctively he ran to her helping the wolf girl up.

Shojo: Good job Ryu. That power is your own now. Use it well.

She smiled weakly at him.

Ryu: Right now that's not important. What is' that you get some rest right now.

Shojo: Oh I am way ahead of you.

She passed out in his arms sleeping.

Ryu: ... -_- She really made me worry over that.

BACK IN THE REAL WORLD!!

Azure was on his side faced the other way resting while Karma didn't take her eyes off of Ryu. A moment later he had opened his eyes.

Ryu: So, how long was I out for?

Karma: ... What?

Azure immediately rolled of his side looking at Ryu seeing that he was fine.

Azure: No fucking way.

Ryu: Either of you plan on answering me?

Azure: 2 DAYS!!

Ryu: HUH?!! THAT LONG?!!

Karma: LONG?!! IT'S USUALLY A WEEK!! DID YOU DO IT?!!

Ryu smirked getting up.
