Asta started to take Naruto to the arena to get tested while Julius lingered a bit in the back. Julius didn't know that someone could do magic in the Elemental Nations since they're known to only use chakra. Chakra is powerful, but unlike magic it does have limits. Not to mention that most people in the Elemental Lands like to take power to strengthen themselves without putting in any effort. Which is one of the reasons why he is skeptical that one would seek citizenship into the Clover Kingdom.

"Why are you joining the Clover Kingdom?" Julius blurts out. Asta and Naruto stopped and turned around just in time to see Julius with a serious expression on his face.

"I'm joining in order to get a fresh start. You see..I was banished by some greedy people who wanted to bow down towards a traitor who left my village for power. Not to mention that most in my village saw me as a demon due to the fact that I house one of the tailed beasts." Naruto answered. Julius was surprised that he answered honestly since most would try to lie right in his face.

"What are tailed beasts?" Asta asks. 

"Tailed beasts are powerful beings who are placed in the bodies of Jinchuriki. I'm one of them and I house the most powerful of them named Kurama who is the nine tailed fox." Naruto Said with a smirk.

"Interesting. So How did you require magic?" Julius Asked.

"Kurama taught me. He taught me a lot of things. In school, I pretended to be the dead last due the fact that most of the villagers saw me as the Kyuubi reborn. After I graduated, I was on the team with the traitor named Sasuke Uchiha who wants to kill his brother and would anything to get the power he seeks and Sakura Haruno is useless, loud and is also known as the Uchiha's fangirl. Not to mention the sensei who is named Kakashi only trained Sasuke." Naruto Said.

"Wow. So you played dumb for years...I have one more question before we enter the arena. Why?" Julius Asked.

"I did it so I can get less beatings from the villagers. They praised my father while condemning me to Hell. To add insult to injury, They didn't honor his last wish which is for them to see me as the village hero." Naruto Said.

Julius had more questions, but he decided to ask them later. It's clear that Naruto didn't have the best life before coming to Clover Kingdom. He also cursed the citizens of his home village since they can't see that he's not the nine tailed fox. Asta was thinking along the same lines since he couldn't believe the ignorance of the civilians. They praised a traitor. A traitor that ran for power just to kill his brother. Not to mention that they never honored the last wish of Naruto's father. 

Before the trio knew it..they arrived at the arena. Asta and Julius stood on the far side of the arena while Naruto stood a couple of yards away.

"Ready Naruto!" Asta yelled.

"Ready!!" Naruto yelled.

Naruto slowly felt something pull away at his chest and got his Gilmore. The Gilmore was also called an arcane book which means that it can cast magic and store weapons. Julius's eyes went wide because the arcane book is a book of legend and has only been seen once over 100 years ago.

"So What guide are you joining?" Asta Asked.

"I'm joining yours." Naruto Said.

He had no idea that his decision would change the course of history in Clover Kingdom. He also didn't know that he was going to reunited with his old friends two years later.
