Chapter 6

Genji and Kushina went to the store to pick up some groceries.

Meanwhile, Minato was watching TV when he heard a faint sound of whimpering. Concerned, he approached the slightly open bathroom door.

Looking down, he saw Naruto curled up in a ball. Minato suddenly caught a whiff of pheromones, a blend of sweet sunflowers and roses.

"Sweet sunflowers and roses together," Minato murmured to himself, licking his lips instinctively.

Naruto looked up, alarmed to see his father towering over him. "Dad...!? You need to leave, I'm in heat!"

Minato could easily see the fear in his son's eyes. He crouched down to Naruto's level, reassuring him gently, "Naruto, I'm not going to do anything to you. I might be an alpha, but we're also related. Your pheromones can't affect me like they would other alphas."

Naruto, still shaken, felt his father's comforting arms wrap around him. Minato picked him up and carried him to the guest room.

Naruto found himself placed on a soft, cozy bed. Minato left the room for a moment and returned with a light blue shirt and dark blue boxer shorts.

"Here, change into these," Minato said. Naruto felt a bit uncomfortable with his dad in the room. "Don't worry, I won't be in here while you're changing. I have to grab a few more things for you."

Naruto made sure his father was out of the room before he changed, After Naruto changed into the light blue shirt and dark blue boxer shorts, he settled back onto the bed, feeling a little more at ease. The soft fabric was soothing against his skin,

When Minato returned, he was wearing a white tank top and blue shorts, carrying some clothes, a spray, and a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Naruto watched as Minato arranged the clothes around him—a pair of shoes beside his head, pants and a shirt on the blankets, and a pair of boxer shorts placed on Naruto's head like a hat.

Confused, Naruto asked, "Dad, what are you doing?"

Minato shook the spray bottle. "I'm making you a nest. This spray helps young omegas who don't have mates by giving them a false sense of an alpha scent," he explained, spraying the clothes. "It will help ease your discomfort a bit."

Naruto inhaled the soothing scent. "Oh..." he murmured, burying his face in the shoes to take in the smell.

Minato smiled, relieved to see his son feeling better. "Do you want some vanilla ice cream? It always helps your mother."

Minato got the bowl of vanilla ice cream, offering it with a gentle smile. "Here you go, Naruto."

Naruto took a small bite, the cool sweetness melting in his mouth, bringing a sense of calm. "Thanks, Dad," he said quietly, feeling the tension in his body slowly dissipate.

We're loxing on the bed, the familiar scent from the sprayed clothes wrapped around him was like a comforting embrace.

Minato pulled up a chair beside the bed, watching his son relax. "You know, it's okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes. You're not alone in this."

Naruto nodded, feeling grateful for his father's presence. "I know. It's just... a lot."

Minato reached out, giving Naruto's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "We'll get through it together. Just focus on resting for now."

Naruto nodded again, a small smile forming on his lips. With his father's comforting presence and the familiar surroundings, he felt a sense of safety and warmth envelop him, slowly drifting into a peaceful rest.
