37) Uzumaki clan : this shit kinda shady
contains non canon speculations, conspiracy theories, and opinions.
: ;
So...do i start with the uzumaki senju relationship, konoha's exploitation of uzumaki women, the scattering of the uzumaki or the shady asf destruction of the village?
Ok so what first stood out to me about Kushina's arrival is the fact that the sole reason she came was to become the next jinchuriki, like a grooming of some sort. Though it makes sense, because of the Uzumaki's long life force and their ties to the Senju clan but
It just doesn't sit well with me.
Because (and this is just headcanon) what if, by chance, Kushina were to say she didn't want to? Would they have found another candidate? What reason did they have to make Kushina specifically a jinchuriki? Her close relation with Mito? (Surely Mito knew other people in her home village other than Kushina). Her special chakra? (do they mean special as in to HER or special as in uzumaki clan stuff)
It also makes me wonder how the uzumaki clan thinks. Because if they saw having a beast sealed inside a little kid as an honorary sacrifice, then I will say that it's the same blind Will Of Fire that they're following, and that what they're doing to kids is grooming.
If they saw Kushina as an unlucky sacrifice, then that's a different story. I wonder how they feel about Konoha picking up one of their own then? Do they hold resentment towards the nine tails, Mito or Konoha? Or are they passive about the entire thing? ( acceptance would sound like sociocultural normalization of taking in kids for sealing, which I highly doubt, because Mito was the first person to have the jinchuriki sealed in her so they won't be as used to it yet).
Also Mito and Hashirama had a kid??? Why not just seal it in your kid??? It worked for Minato and Kushina dhfhdhd I'm– did the kid die or some shit????? I need RECEIPTS fhdhdhd
I don't know what the deal is with sealing the nine tails in uzumaki ;-; obito and madara took on the ten tails like a whole ass boss–kurama ain't that special smh 😭
It was called it a burden that Kushina must bear, and that's very disturbing. What they mean by "must"?? Kushina is a child (about 10-12), and not mentally capable of making these sorts of decisions. When Mito sealed the beast in her she was a full fledged adult, and now they're passing this burden to a child like it means nothing.
(Yes, Naruto was a kid too but those circumstances are entirely different. Not great either, but Different.)
This is a child that is not from their village, might I add.
It's not like there isn't someone from Konoha who can't host the nine tailed beast (the senju have been shown to live very long, too long if you ask me like wtf). The Uzumaki's longevity is a justifiable answer, but it doesn't take away the fact that because of the clans' kekkei genkai they are being used and exploited.
The senju are said to have a good relationship with the uzumaki, and i think they used that "bond" to their advantage, and took advantage of the uzumaki clan's willingness to help. However, maybe the Uzumaki clan was also getting something in return, like goods for sale or protection. So basically they maybe gave up Kushina for that purpose, and agreed to the Uzumaki Jinchuriki slave–i mean, sacrifice contract.
Sounds like human trafficking and exploitation ngl.
(Maybe I'm reading too much into this 😓 i conspirate alot)
Moving on from Kushina, it just so happens that, after Mito's death and Kushina's sealing, Uzushiogakure (the village) was destroyed?
Yeah lemme just sip my juice okay.
Now Konoha, the so called allies of Uzushiogakure are now nowhere to be found during this destruction–did not carry out any research about this destruction nor was it like ever discussed, EVER.
And it's pretty damn obvious there are a bunch of Uzumaki running around the whole shinobi world, but Konoha doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about them.
Now here's a headcanon : Konoha's relationship with Uzushiogakure was either fake as fuck, or completely fizzled out when Hashirama and Mito died and the Senju clan died out.
So there's a chance that the Uzumaki actually disliked Konoha after Mito died due to a strain in the relationship because Hashirama can't mediate his way out of it and there are less and less Senju, and maybe they retracted their Uzumaki slave–i mean jinchuriki contract, saying that they ain't about that slave–oh my GOD i mean jinchuriki life nomore.
Aannnnddd now on that note we move on to the destruction of the village.
According to Narutopedia the "world's nations" banded together to destroy the village because they believed the village was too powerful, which makes absolute sense because shinobi fear kekkei genkai like hell, but why so vague? 🙃 What nations? 🙃🙃Drop the names we wanna know.
And According to some other stuff i read Uzushiogakure was destroyed by "smaller villages"
The smaller villages thing confuses me, and I'm not a person of politics but, going after a well known village, a village that is "protected" by one of the greater villages, sounds like a completely idiotic move–and completely unlikely too. But perhaps they saw the death of Mito and Hashirama as some sort of opening?
But i wanna know how tf they destroyed a whole village with uzumaki with the healing power of Zeno from akatsuki no yona. Just how strong were they? How did they do it? Are we sure they didn't have help?
Possible causes of the destruction
1. Uzushiogakure and Konoha got into a dispute, perhaps due to the canceling of the Uzumaki sla–jinchuriki contact (remember naruto was not born by this time). Danzou and his ugly minions saw them as a threat, so he got lesser nations to band together and nuke them with some help– his help.
2. Lesser nations were getting scared of some nation's strength and decided to destroy Uzushiogakure? (Unlikely to me, but possible)
3. Another village destroyed Uzushiogakure, perhaps the Hidden mist or something because they perceived them as a threat.
–Although, I'm very sure the goal was not massacre, but espionage and scattering the uzumaki clan, because there are way to many uzumaki still roaming around after yeeeaars passed by. If you're trying to disperse a group of people or drive them out of their home country then the goal is so they'll no longer be a collective unit. If they're no longer together, it is much easier to attack and exploit them. Which brings me to number 4
4. They wanted to exploit all Uzumaki.
By "they", I can mean Konoha, other great villages, or lesser villages, or maybe two or three allied villages. The Uzumaki are seen to have unique healing powers, sealing powers, chakra, and sensory abilities, in other words they are usable. Perhaps the goal wasn't due to fear of the village, but because other villages wanted to take some Uzumaki for themselves, like Konoha had done with Kushina. Evidence from Karin's Tsukyomi revealing her past, where her mother was bitten to death, and Karin kept getting attacked or kidnapped because of her healing ability and "bright red hair".
5. In the anime, when a bunch of guys grabbed Karin's hair they said "she might fetch a pretty price". This could mean either human sex trafficking or shinobi trafficking (since uzumaki are well known for their red hair), so perhaps a reason for the Uzushiogakure destruction was to abduct uzumaki for trafficking.
( Anonymous getting to me dhddhdh )

So I'm not the best at analyses like these, but i hope my headcanons can help you to find more reasons to despise Konoha :) and village-bash Konoha in every one of your fics.
Bye uwu
