Is one of the tropes that as an angst loving author, I hate it.

I just hate how convenient it is that the characters everyone loves who die come back to life like it's no big deal.

Let's revise some revivals in Naruto shall we?

-Gaara's revival

Jinchuriki logic : when the beast gets extracted from you you die

–The Pein arc. Nagato's reaper death seal whatever

So the important guy Kakashi is dead but bc Nagato is turned on by Naruto's infamous talk no jutsu he decides to revive everyone that died during the attack.

I actually don't have a problem with this revival (though as an angst loving author I'm like nO dIE) since Kakashi is crucial to the plot in the later chapters.

But what was the point of Hinata living? No like forreal someone tell me the actual point of this character because she lives for naruto she may as well die for naruto smh 💅

–That entire war reincarnation shit

DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THIS BULLSHIT.

First of all it proves that the war was absolutely unnecessary because they needed to recycle old characters to fight battles that we've already seen before.

(Also it conveniently turns out that obito does not need killer bee and naruto and can just uSE pARt oF tHE cHAKRa to revive the ten tails.

This man warred a war for nothing. NOTHING.)

Second of all, though bringing back dead characters can be good for development and having the character's learn something (eg Chouji, Sasuke, Gaara) the fact that Kishi needed to bring back the whole arsenal of the dead so that all his cookie cutter characters can have a semblance of development is honestly just sad

Also didn't deidara blow himself up?

The revival shit brought good moments (like Tsunade x Dan) but it completely just ruined the impact of the fact that they died and should've stayed dead.

–Neji's death

–Naruto's and Sasuke's death

Now this was actually a really nice thing, having the tailed beast extracted out of Naruto and having Kabuto gIVE hIs fLUIDS to Sasuke.

And I was genuinely interested as to how they were gonna save Naruto like were they gonna pull a chiyo or a nagato?

–GAI'S DEATH
