The plan was simple. Naruto would use his Shadow Clones to make constant attempts to get the bell. No matter how many times he failed, he had to keep trying. Sakura was going to use her rope technique and try. Obviously, she was sure that she wasn't going to succeed either, but she was going to keep trying. Sasuke was going to do sneak attacks, try to get in Kakashi's blind spots and grab it while he was focused on the other two. She made sure to let them know that she wasn't 100% certain it would work, but trying was better than nothing.

They got closer than last time.

While Sasuke was never close enough to get the bell despite the distractions from the other two, Naruto almost had it. Just as Sasuke missed, one of Naruto's Shadow Clones almost grabbed it if Kakashi didn't pull it away just in time. No one even realized that until time was up.

"Impressive teamwork. You were almost there." He nodded to Naruto. "One Shadow Clone almost had it if I wasn't paying attention. I was so focused on avoiding Sasuke that you almost got it. While you failed, I admire your teamwork. Go to lunch."

While they scolded themselves for failing, the boys exchanged compliments on their skills. Sakura smiled as Sasuke pointed out his versatility while Naruto commented on his accuracy. She then sighed. Now that they were more focused, she could work on herself.
