More dream catcher

The day of the exams was upon them and Izuku felt his confidence weighing thin when he saw many examinees, many looked more confident or actually looked like they were supposed to be there... He had his confidence boosted by Naruto who reassured him that everything would be fine... but the amount of examines that passed him as he looked up at the massive exam sight that was UA high... he felt terrified... After staring up at the school he heard a familiar voice shout out, "Out of the way nerd!" shuffling to the right he saw Katsuki march past them. "Same old Kacchan..." Izuku had muttered making Naruto roll his eyes.

"Come on Izuku, we should hurry so we are not late for the written portion... ya know you will ace it." The blond next to him grabbed his hand and started pulling him along as he said the words of encouragement. Izuku looked at his hand, staring at it slightly as he was dragged along, passing a brown-haired girl who looks on in curiosity as he seemed to trip from a small raised step, and as Naruto felt him fall, he turned and saw the girl reach out and tap him.

"Oh gosh! I should have asked first." The girl seemed to have a permanent flustered look on her face as Izuku started to float up. "W-Woah." Izuku waved his free hand, his entire balance thrown off entirely as Naruto held on to him, feeling the spasms. "Ah! Release!" The girl placed her hands in a sign and Izuku lightly fell to his feet with Naruto's grip keeping him from falling once more. "S-Sorry! I didn't want him to trip! that would have been bad luck if he did." The girl put her hand on the back of her head and scratched sheepishly.

"T-Thank you..." Izuku stuttered out slightly before looking down at her hand to see small little circles on her fingers that seemed to be the source of her quirk. "Does your touch make someone lose their gravity? That's so cool!" Naruto rolled his eyes slightly," uh oh, we might be here all day and be late. Come on Izuku-Kun, you can't talk quirks right now, we have an exam to take." Izuku looked behind him as he remembered where he was and instantly kicked himself at the thought. "A-Ah Sorry! T-Thank you for the help!" Izuku said as he was getting dragged by Naruto once more.

The girl hummed in curiosity as she saw the green-haired be dragged away. "Ooh, are they dating? they are so cute." She put a finger to her cheek in curiosity as she walked after them.

Izuku felt a little more secure after they did their written portion of the test, it had just been A lot of questions as many of the entrance exams would be, it was timed and not many would get most of the answers done as there was a lot, Izuku had lost count of how many answers he had written down, but luckily he managed to finish the packet, fairly confident with his ability of study, he was also a few feet apart from everyone so he didn't have to feel like anyone else was around him... though he did notice that Naruto was in front of him, so he had looked up a little just to still see his pencil moving when he was done.

Standing up he went to the front and placed the packet with his name directly on the front into a case in front of the examiner present... turning towards the clock on the wall, he noticed he had a few minutes left so he walked out the door and silently waited for his friend to be finished or the timer ran out. Looking around slightly he noticed a few also waiting outside the few doors, of course, there being many examines multiple rooms were scanning through them he didn't notice any defining features and could guess they were intelligence quirks or something to deal with the mind...

After a few minutes all of the rooms opened and out came the waves, Izuku was thankful he stayed near the door as it was like a tidal wave of people... grabbing ahold of Naruto as soon as he saw him so he could walk with him to the next part, apparently a presentation of the practical portion... Naruto felt the crowd with an annoyed look and just followed it, most likely going in the right direction. "You seem more confident," Naruto whispered making Izuku jump slightly, he was a little squished like on lunch rush whenever he had to go on a bullet train but it was still moving.

"Y-yeah, the test wasn't that hard." Izuku hummed out making Naruto grin slightly. "I didn't get to the last page sadly, but should get at least a solid c+!" Izuku laughed slightly at his friend's enthusiasm. "Better than your last predicted test score, you said d- but got a B+." Izuku grinned slightly before stumbling slightly from a small push and he looked back apologetically. "eh, I'm sure you got a one hundred, mister brain quirk." He winked making Izuku chuckled with a small sweatdrop, he always joked about it and it was a little awkward now considering he has an insane strength-enhancing quirk.

"Oh! I see the door! THE LIGHT!" Naruto shouted as he reached for the door, a few looking back in obvious amusement at the blond's antics. Izuku also was smiling at the blond next to him, the nerves gone almost immediately... Something the blond noticed over the times with the Viridian boy was that... he would need his mind off of the thing that freaked him out, and that's what he usually tried to do, so he was being himself, charismatic Naruto Uzumaki at his service... but of course there's another time when Izuku is completely focused... and that was when he was in a serious situation.

He had heard from Izuku himself on how he managed to get a hit on the villain that tried to attack him... his body moving completely on his own with no one near him to give him the courage... so he knew there was something deep within Izuku pushing him forward, and he had a feeling he knew exactly what it was... The sense to save people... and he had it for himself as well, which was a sixth sense all great heroes would need, fighting villains or protecting others.

as they walked into the room they were greeted by a large auditorium. The pair never saw one so big had looked around in awe as they started scurrying up the stairs, going to the seats instructed Izuku looked at the little envelopes in front of them and grabbed it, opening it to see little tickets, and he hummed in curiosity. "Huh, that's weird..." Izuku muttered as he looked between his and Naruto's cards before hearing an annoyed grunt next to him sit down, looking over he saw Katsuki scoffing at the people who had to move for him to get to his seat.

"K-Kacchan!" Izuku squeaked as Naruto looked over with a calculated look, ever since Izuku had shown his quirk, the teen that just sat down had been the most interesting thing to Naruto... he didn't act much different from what he usually did... but the change that did happen was Katsuki didn't say much to Izuku anymore... which was either a good sign or a bad one... he couldn't read the blond. He's usually riled up by just the presence... but Katsuki seemed changed... Did it give him the right to talk to Izuku, in Naruto's mind, and most if they were in his position, they would all say no...

He had made Izuku's life a complete hell, why would he deserve anything else than to be ignored? Izuku one day told him "I... I think he hates me... or himself."  That one sentence made it aware to Naruto that Izuku was the only person able to read the other blond... Probably because they knew each other for such a long time. But it still didn't make much of a difference to Naruto, he shouldn't even deserve any type of forgiveness from the viridian boy... if he was even looking for it, as he barely said a word to him... besides back then..."Don't fail now..." 

The words themselves were hard to figure out, but he could only guess it was an insult... but for Izuku... It was his only way of hearing from Katsuki, "Catch up to me."  Naruto didn't know as Izuku never really spoke about Katsuki, only when the blue-eyed boy asked... Izuku looked forward from looking at the blond for a second... "This is my seat Deku..." The blond stated simply making Izuku nod his head curtly, hearing another phrase entirely. "Not like I had much of a choice."

The lights started to dim as the three teens from the same school looked up slightly before looking to the stage. "What's up UA candidates! Thank's for tuning into me! The school DJ! Come on! Let me hear ya!" A familiar hero made Izuku have a bright smile but the room was eerily silent after the charismatic shout. "Ha, keeping it mellow? Oh well, that's alright, I'll just skip to the main show! I will now explain how the practical exam will go down! ARE YA READY!?" Again with the silence making him look down a little dejected.

"Oh my gosh! It's a present mic, the voice hero, I listen to all of his radio shows and they are so great and he is such an inspiration! Always doing so much community help and having an amazing quirk to change the loudness of his voice to stun enemies! I wonder if he can get to... mutter mutter." Katsuki rolled his eyes as Naruto patted the excited boy's head in a manner as if he was some exotic bird. "There there ya weird nerd," Naruto stated while Izuku looked up in confusion before blushing. "A-Ah! Sorry."

"Like your application said! You all will be going to urban settings and will be doing 10-minute mock battles! After I drop the mic all you rocking boys and girls will go to your designated area!" Izuku hearing this instantly remembered his ticket and they all looked at it briefly. "Huh, we are in different spots," Naruto said as Katsuki looked at the two from a sidelong glance. "It breaks apart people who know each other." He simply said while Izuku looked over at both of theirs. "Yeah, even though our cards are registered one after the other we are all in different locations." The tickets saying A B C, going from Katsuki, Izuku, to Naruto.

"Alright! let's check out all of your targets!" On-screen it showed three shadow-like forms making Naruto tilt his head. "Huh... it looks like a game." Izuku nodded his head next to him, "Your goal is to eliminate as many of your foes as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Each ranging from one, two, or even three points! But of course, if you are caught attacking a fellow examinee you will be disqualified!"

"Excuse me sir I have a question!" A teen stood up from his chair a few rows down from the three teens. "Hit me!" Present mic shouted as he pulled out a packet. "In the packet, it lists four villains, not three, we all are exemplary students if this is an error then it would be shameful of the most notorious school to be outwitted by a miss print... AND additionally you!" He turned fairly quickly and pointed directly at Izuku who sat up straight almost instantly. "Y-Yes?" Stuttering out a response, not expecting a question or to be called out.

"You've been muttering this entire time, stop it, it's distracting to those who are ACTUALLY trying to listen." Katsuki raised an eyebrow as Naruto scoffed. "It's how he processes things, get that stick out of your ass, and actually wait cause it looks like he was getting to the fourth villain." The teen looked back as Present mic nodded his head, "You are absolutely correct examinee 2235! The four villain is worth no points at all, just a big giant obstacle." The teen looked back up at the blond who was giving him an annoyed glare and turned back to the front and sat down.

"That's all for this folks, of course let me tell you one thing that you must learn to get into this school! GO BEYOND! Plus ultra!" Naruto grinned while Izuku was smiling a little worriedly at his ticket in his hand...

As they split up into different busses to get to each site, Naruto gave one final encouraging shout. "Kick some ass Izu!" while Katsuki gave a small nod to the two of them... whatever that meant to either of them, who knows. Izuku looked at everyone around him with an awed expression before seeing a familiar face. "It's that girl! I didn't properly thank her for saving me from that nasty fall!" As he started to walk forward towards her he felt a hand grasp his shoulder, looking behind him in confusion he winced seeing the stern look from the teen who called him out so boldly.

"She looks like she is trying to focus, are you here just to sabotage us!?" The scolding voice made Izuku shake his head quickly. "N-No! of course not! I want to be a hero just like all of you! she just saved me from falling and I wanted to t-thank her!" Izuku tried to explain while everyone around him look back at him before noticing who he was. "It's that boy, man he looks so ordinary..." The feeling of unease as he backed away from the other teen...

Closing his eyes he tried to focus on his breathing. "It's important to... wait are you even listening!?" The teen was trying to lecture him but he felt his legs move almost instantly when he heard the gates open and Present mic yelling. "ALRIGHT BEGIN!" Feeling his quirk activate he jumped over everyone that was blocking the way, landing on his feet as the electricity running through his veins... Opening his eyes once more he had that same determined look he had in gym class, "A good example! There are no countdowns to a real battle! Follow after Examinee 2234!"

Izuku was running fairly quickly, he had used his quirk at the percentage many times, though he had never been in a full sprint with it and was fairly surprised to see how fast he was going... as he was about to hit an intersection of a road, three robots came into view, a one-pointer and two three-pointers. Grinning slightly he grabbed the one pointer by the head, it being still from scanning him, he jumped and brought the one-pointer over his head and threw it at the two three-pointers. All three were destroyed. "Great! seven points already!" He felt relieved as he looked on to the rest of the city, "I can do this!"

With Naruto was a similar situation, he had to jump over a few unsuspected examinees because they wouldn't move instantly. Naruto had been channeling his chakra to the point where there was a wisp of aura around him. Jumping high he placed his feet onto the wall and began running horizontally from the building. Looking down at the street he saw three two-pointers in a group, seemingly waiting for an ambush, they didn't seem to spot him, Placing his hands into a few rapid hand signs he jumped from the wall above three robots. "Water style, water bullet!" opening his mouth he spit out three globs of water that shot at a fast speed and hit all of them. Two short-circuited from the water invading their circuits while the third was still moving, just disabled. As he fell, he brought his foot into an ax kick, on the point of impact his chakra collided with metal and it caved in.

"six."  Turning he saw some more robots and he couldn't help but grin... "Izuku's studying with me over each jutsu is really going to pay off!" he grinned as he started doing some more hand signs. "Lightning style tiger fang!" As he called out his wisps of chakra turned into electricity that started to form into the form of a tiger running, going through each robot in front of him. "I hope you're doing well too Izuku!"  He grabbed one of the plates that was crushed from his fist and held it in his hand, channeling chakra into it, a blade formed, not wanting to waste too much chakra.

Izuku had seen a lot of robots in one spot, he had been the first in so with the big advantage, had found an absolute unit of one and two pointers, no three-pointers but it seemed to equal at least thirty points. "If I get these I should be alright..."  Izuku felt his percentage rise by a hair, it going from five percent to six as he ran forward and started to attack, his leg swinging and as he hit, some of the robots fell from their flimsy heads... seemingly a weak point for one pointer.

the two pointers seemed more stable but they seemed to have their own weakness, right underneath them. Sliding he grabbed a fist full of wires and pulled before grabbing the now dead robot and spun it around. As he did the part he was holding onto tore off, jumping to and from each robot began slashing at each of them... Izuku breathed out heavily as he looked up when he heard the present mics voice. "Two minutes!" 

"I have like fifty points... I think that's enough... but what if it isn't?" He knew how amazing each one of their quirks were and couldn't help but grimace at the idea. As he was trying to calm himself down he heard a large rumble, turning around on the main highway in the mock battle center was a giant robot... "T-T-The zero pointer!" Izuku looked on in shock before seeing many other examinees running from it, he had a glimpse of blue hair to see the teen that was belittling him...

Looking back at the Zero pointer he heard a cry and he looked down to see the brown-haired girl trapped under rubble. Izuku felt his legs move quickly as he ran TOWARDS the zero pointer, many examinees looked back in shock... Jumping from windowsills he got up high before jumping high, feeling his left leg ache he knew he would regret this in the end but right now someone was in trouble. Swinging his right leg he swung upwards and kicked the robot's head, the pressure buckling the robot's head in and making it lose its balance started to fall. Izuku felt his leg break in the impact and winced as he started to fall.

"I really DID not think this through!" Izuku was ready to braise his hands but saw the girl slowly floating up towards him, he reached out and grabbed ahold of her hand and he instantly felt his falling stop. "Ah thank goodness..." he whispered out before he was lightly sat down by the girl. "R-release..." The girl sounded weak but then threw up making Izuku grimace at that, assuming that was her drawbacks... Standing upon his good leg he held out his hand to the girl who was looking a little green as. "A-Are you alright?" He whispered out making her look up and she nodded her head a little sickly. "Y-Yeah, I'll be okay..." As he grabbed her hand to haul her up the alarm sounded.

She looked down at his leg that had his pant leg torn completely and saw his pink leg making her gasp. "A-Are you okay!? Oh my gosh, it looks broken!" Izuku smiled grimly and he nodded. "Y-Yeah it is..." He said with a small voice as he tried to keep standing up with his sore leg, "Alright any injuries?" An older woman's voice was heard making Ochako raise her hand almost instantly. "Over here!" As she was handing over gummies to small injuries she looked over and saw the leg, walking over with her cane she hummed. "Oh my, was this from your quirk sonny?" She asked as her lips seem to elongate and kissed Izuku on the head.

"T-Thank you R-recovery g..." As he said this he started swaying. "Oh my someone catch the boy." He had been used to Tsunade's healing that he completely forgot that Recovery girl's quirk had been completely different, using only the stamina of the person who was injured to boost healing... so he was completely drained and was caught by the gravity changing girl. Opening his eyes tiredly he saw a few health bots coming up to him, ready to put him on a stretcher...

The exam was finally over for Naruto, and he felt confident that he passed, for Izuku he wasn't worried too much, he had drilled many things into his head and he knew that he would be more confident against anything that had to face. Although what he was worried about was that Izuku was late, walking with his hands in his pockets he clenched his fits in worry. Walking back into the building he looked at the signs to see anything that may stand out... one that caught his eye was the infirmary and he couldn't help but frown in worry as he started to walk quicker.

As he got to the room he looked back and forth before seeing a short little lady writing something down, humming away. "Ah, granny? Did a green-haired teen pass through here?" The lady looked up with an unimpressed look and opened the curtain to the bed she was next to. "Izuku!" He shouted in surprise seeing he was on a gurney. "Your friends alright, tho it seems like he really doesn't have great control over his quirk." She stated with a small amount of worry making Naruto turn slightly, "Cause he awakened it a month ago." The lady blinked at what he said and hummed. "I see, well he has good enough handle to control it, but when he saw that girl he really had to save her." Shaking her head with a small smile.

"Naruto?" A small whisper broke out from the boy on the bed making the blond look over quickly. "Stupid, you went over your limit again didn't ya?" Izuku smiled sheepishly and nodded his head. "Sorry, Naruto... Recovery girl? When can I leave? I don't want to worry anyone else." He thought to his mom while Naruto rolled his eyes. "Just rest another thirty minutes, and eat your gummies!" She handed even moreover. "This is the third time Recovery girl.." he whined as she grabbed her can and smacked his head. "THEY ARE HARIBO!"
