Just jamming out to this while writing.

Izuku had been standing uncomfortably next to Katsuki for five minutes, both of them waiting for All Might to give them the go-ahead to start the training... but Izuku had been taking glances to the right of him before he finally heard Katsuki sigh, looking directly into Izuku's eyes, Katsuki looked forward. "Don't lag behind Nerd... I won't slow down because you are slow." Izuku nodded his head, the grit in Katsuki's voice was steeled, the no room for arguments voice as he had dubbed. "Uraraka-san will most likely make Ida lighter... so he's going to be even faster than before..." Izuku muttered, Katsuki listened in though Izuku couldn't tell.

"The best bet is to capture one of them and then rush the bomb, Though if Uraraka touches us we will be floating and it would be harder to navigate in the air." The blond nodded his head, he opened his mouth adding something that came to his mind. "In the speed test, he said he needed time for his gears to shift... if we are faster then we can catch him." Izuku nodded his head, knowing the basics of how car engines work, he had asked Ida and he gave him just the short version, "Similar to a car engine. I wonder what his fuel is..." Katsuki rolled his eyes. "No time  to nerd out..."

Izuku wordlessly shut his mouth as the silence overcame them once more. "He won't be able to take us both, that's much is for sure..." Katsuki muttered as Izuku looked at him in a slight shock that he even said it. "Right!" He nodded his head as he heard the little communicator in his ear come to life, "Alright Young Midoriya, Young Bakugo, your time starts now!" The voice was clearly All Might's and Katsuki and Izuku ran forward, Katsuki taking the lead before slowing down as he went around a corner, giving enough time to brace themselves for any type of ambush. "Where do you think would the perfect place to guard the bomb?" Izuku looked up in surprise at the question, "I-If this building doesn't have a basement I would assume a room with little to no entrances, probably on the third or fourth floor." Katsuki nodded his head and decided to head for the stairs.

Izuku could only thank Katsuki in his mind for listening to him, even though he may be wrong on where they are, it was still nice to be heard from the blond... Katsuki went up two flights of stairs and gave a small hand gesture signaling that the coast was clear. Going up the stairs he continued to stare at Katsuki's back, just wondering what made him tick in the way that he did... it was always the same reason, the drive to be a hero, it just seemed along the way something between them changed which Izuku always assumed the same thing, "It's cause I'm quirkless... worthless Deku..."  It always went through his head, how could it not... he broke their friendship apart... but there was always something that made him wonder if it was something else that had them divided.

 Katsuki rounded the corner only to jump back, Izuku jumped slightly as he was pushed to the ground by Katsuki backing into him. "There Ida-Kun!" Ochako's voice was the first thing Izuku heard before they saw Tenya come around the corner at breakneck speeds, Izuku stood up quickly only to be hit down by Tenya who was doing driveby's of them. Katsuki growled as he got up and brought his arm up. "DIE!" The shout shocked Tenya as a blast threw him off his trajectory into the wall. "Wait I'm the villain Bakugo! Hero's shouldn't just yell die!" Tenya seemed to have time to scold the teen before the blond threw up his palms and they ignited.

Izuku shakily stood up seeing Katsuki over him, allowing him a chance to take a breath. Lightning coursed around him as he gave a look towards Katsuki. "Kacchan..." The blond turned around to see Izuku's eyes shining in determination... and in that moment he grinned. Tenya rocketed towards them as they were distracted from one another and Izuku grabbed ahold of Katsuki's hand and pulled him out the way, but not only that Katsuki used an explosion to send him around quicker to barely avoid the punch that was thrown by Tenya.

Izuku let go as he swung around in the process and brought his leg up and kicked Tenya that was busy situating his gears, he looked up in shock and it was too late, the leg was brought up and he was kicked straight down to the floor. Groaning at the feeling of pressure on his back, Izuku grabbed his hands and started to tie them...

In the viewing room, everyone could only watch in amazement at what just happened, Naruto's eyes widened he and the others just witnessed. "I thought they hated each other? That was amazing!" Kirishima shouted, his arm pumping up in a thumbs up while the frog girl, he remembered as Asui tilted her head, "It seemed like it, though they looked like they had a plan, ribbit." Toshinori could only furrow his brow in confusion, the teamwork shown by the two boys was something else, though he had seen the same teamwork from Izuku and Naruto many times, watching them train and use their heads in many situations thrown at them by Tsunade.

Naruto bit at the inside of his cheek seeing Katsuki willingly grab his hand while dodging and using that momentum of dodging to slingshot Izuku at the very fast teen, though there were flaws if Tenya was faster he would have dodged him and Izuku may or may not have hit a wall and not recover... but with the knowledge that they had, Izuku and Katsuki's plan was perfect in their situation... Gritting his teeth as he saw Katsuki grinning like a mad man as they went into the room where Ochako and the bomb were... his eyes flashing red for just a brief moment, the red-haired teen next to him seeing the small amount of shaking turned and saw his eyes.

"Hey man, you alright?" Kirishima asked making Naruto snap out of it, his eyes reverting back to the natural blue he looked over and nodded his head. "Y-Yeah... Just worried." Staring up at the screen he saw Ochako floating.

Izuku could only squeak as debris was being flung at him at surprising speed. Ochako was defiantly not holding back, many pillars were damaged heavily by what he had assumed to be Tenya kicking and punching to give her many weapons to throw. Izuku dived behind a pillar as another round of shrapnel came his way. Katsuki was in the same situation, behind a pillar he gave a scowl before giving Izuku a look, holding up his hand and pointed at himself, and mouthed 'My turn.' Izuku saw it and he nodded his head in confirmation. Katsuki waited for the round of debris to finally end before he came around the corner, pushed his hands out and the entire room lit up. Izuku felt one for all dig underneath his skin as he started to zip around the room, Ochako seemingly dazed from Katsuki's blast pushing away and blowing back all of the debris towards her.

"The Hero's have captured the bomb and both Villans! Hero team wins!" Izuku breathed out in relief as he retracted his hand from the bomb. He walked over towards Ochako and grabbed at the loosely done capture tape and pulled it off. "Your aim is sc-scary Uraraka-san." showing a bit of wear and tear at his mask that exposed a small amount of his cheek. closing her eyes she had the decency to look sheepish. "Ahh Sorry Midoriya-Kun, I was getting carried away." nodding his head in understanding he brought his hands to his side. "Well, V-Villians often do get carried away so for the exercise, g-good job." Izuku held up his thumb with a smile making the girl nod her head eagerly.

"Head back to the viewing area, we will give you your grade there!" Izuku felt a chill go up through his body in worry, of course, there was a grade, he could only hope that because they won it would bring less criticism. Walking out of the building, Katsuki's eyes lingered just a little longer on the viridian boy than he was used to... Izuku was in his own little world that he didn't even notice.

"Alright! An amazing first match to start our day! Now the first question is who is the MVP of this exercise?" All Might's voice boomed as they walked in, all the students were gathered as the four were in the front of the room. "I believe it would be Midoriya-san," Yaoyorozu stated making Izuku look up in surprise, looking back and forth from all of his classmates. "Oh? Your reasoning?" All Might asked making her nod her head. "Midoriya-san's deduction as to where the bomb may be was key as they didn't have much time, though Bakugo-san was vital for him to dodge and very well take down Ida, his attitude didn't act like a hero, especially if there were civilians in the building... blowing up the room with the bomb would not be a plan." Momo took a breath before turning towards the viridian boy.

"Though Midoriya-san took risks, it worked out to take down the threat of Ida-san's speed. Of course, the villain's team of making Ida-san lighter and just as fast was a good plan, attacking separately was both of their downfalls and not practical." Toshinori seemed to be at a loss of words before he stood up straight, coughed into his fist, and laughed sheepishly. "Y-Yes! Of course! I couldn't say it better myself! Well done to you four!" Katsuki didn't seem entirely happy with the reasoning but kept his mouth shut while Izuku seemed shocked to say the least, to be counted as vital in a plan felt... oddly satisfying to the teen... he looked up towards Naruto who gave him a slight grin and a thumbs up... though it seemed strained.

"Alright next team!" Walking over towards him with a worried look, his brows furrowed in obvious concern. brushing past the duel hair color he looked behind and gave an apologetic glance but froze at the cold look given back. His eyes lingered for a bit, muttering a small apologies, and kept walking towards the blond. "H-Hey." Izuku whispered as Naruto gave him a small smile. "It seems like you were right as always." His feet stopped bringing him forward as he said this, his chin was tense, his eyes closed in such a way that Izuku couldn't read him. "Good job on your win Izuku." bringing his hand up as Naruto turned away he felt a force completely stop him, as Naruto turned around his face morphed into a pained one, facing the screen he watched the following fight, although it was more of a massacre.

The duel haired teen, his hair being red on the left side and white on the right, a scar brandishing itself over his left eye had managed to completely freeze the entire building in seconds... walking in and touching the bomb it was very easy to determine who had won the MVP of the round. Izuku's eyes were wide at the quirk, before seeing him place his hand over Ojiro and a steam ran over the entire building... tho the thing was, he didn't feel the need to ask questions... it seemed as if his drive was sucked out of him by Naruto who seemed in a spot he couldn't understand...

Naruto felt his nerves shot as he walked forward, all the fights had been fine to watch... but his stomach couldn't stop churning after seeing the fight with Izuku and Katsuki, he couldn't help but feel like he was going to be left behind... Again. bringing his hand up to his face he etched at the whisker marks on his face before he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning he saw Koji looking at him with a curious look. "Ah sorry Kota-san, you ready for our match?" The nod confirmed it making him smile. "I really need to let off some steam anyways..."
