Three days latter...

Naruto was looking at his scales in a small smile... he left his bandages on his arm because it still felt strange... but he kinda liked the look of the scales around his eyes, he decided he wouldn't wear his goggles for that day... he grabbed his headbands and put them like he did before and grabbed the door handle... ready for the looks of confusion to be shown throughout Konoha and the academy... and swung the door open.

The stares were like he thought it would be, confusion and disgust... but after a few glances they started to ignore him once more which was fine with him. He walked in the academy like usual before slowly slipping his way into his classroom where all of his fellow passing ninja were.
Sakura was looking out the window with her hand in her cheek with a sad look making Naruto frown. He slowly slipped into his seat next to her before poking her.
Sakura-chan.
Her eyes widened before turning towards Naruto quickly.
You passed!
She flung herself without looking at Naruto's new changes and hugged him.
What's wrong Sakura-chan?
He patted her back gently as she pulled away and finally looked at him before pausing looking at his eyes and his two new headbands.
What's wrong with your eyes?
She touched one of the scales closer to his cheek making blush slightly from the touch.
It's a bloodline. I awakened it after my test... that's why I wasn't here... sorry for leaving so suddenly.
Naruto said the lie that was instructed by gramps... it wasn't a total lie... but he didn't want anyone to know how he really passed... he shuddered thinking about the voice of his...
Sakura nodded not hearing the lie evident in his voice.
And the headband?
She asked making Naruto smile warmly before touching the fabric.
It's from a old ally of Konoha's, Uzushiogakure. Apparently my family was from there.
Naruto stated making Sakura smile brightly.

She said as he smiled warmly at the thought.
Iruka walked through with minimal signs of him ever being injured. Though he did look tired, he seemed like he was ready for the day.
Naruto was half asleep by the speech that he was giving. he heard it many times before from all the others older generation of genin. His friend tenten recited it word for word, and this was no different.

Iruka smiled before he grabbed a piece of paper off of the desk.
Now for the teams.
Naruto looked around. looking at all of his friends that he had and was wishing that he was on one of their teams.
Team 7 will be Naruto Uzumaki.
Naruto perked up hearing his name finally.
Sasuke Uchiha.
His head hit the table making it make a very loud noise making Kiba laugh quietly behind him.
And Sakura Haruno.
Sakura smiled before she heard a small.
Oh thank kami.
She giggled in her hand silently.
Team 8 will be Hinata Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame.
The three friends smiled.
Team 10 will be Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akamichi.
Ino sighed but smiled never the less.
a few other teams were called until he finally set the paper down.

he opened the door and left the room while the newly made teams started to move to sit by each other... though Sasuke didn't seem very pleasent about it.
Naruto was sitting to the right of Sakura while Sasuke was to her left making Sakura squirm slightly from the small tension... Sasuke had a track record of being really annoyed at Naruto by beating him that time... and it contiuned, he was always being beaten to this day... Sakura turned towards Naruto making him smile.

This caught Sasuke's attention as he turned one eye and caught a glimpse of the scales around his eyes before turning back.. but it was obvious he was listening in.
I'm not really sure. Gramps said my family had a knack at their longitivity... but everything else I'm not sure. apparently I have a fire affinity from it.
He stated strangly making Sasuke bite his teeth. he wanted to know more... and he already knew he had a strong fire ability cause his flames were easily nullified by him... and him living long didn't give him much info...

Sakura smiled before the door opened and senseis after senseis started to come in and call for their teams... before it was just them...
