When Naruto reopened his eyes he was back in the same position he saw when Mizuki took Iruka down... but Mizuki wasn't to be seen...
he looked down at his sensei as his vision blurred slightly as he reached for the fallen shinobi but he froze when he saw his right arm.... there was so many red spots around his arm almost up to the elbow... his hand was mostly red however not scaley, his hands were more claw like then before aswell..

The whispers they grew louder every moment before the tears that stung at his eyes flooded as Iruka stirred making him go stiff and pull up his hands before transforming into his normal look.
Naruto?
He whispered making him grimance and nod.
that's when a anbu dropped down next to him and placed a tag on Iruka.
he was asleep once more making Naruto look slowly at the seal... it was a medical seal for most medical ninjutsu users to use before they started to treat their patients.
He looked up at the anbu and saw the cat like mask and smiled tiredly before he felt his eye lids slowly fall as a darkness clouded his vision.
Neko... chan...
he fell backwards and passed out... however his transformation remained while Neko caught him while another anbu, Rat, came and picked up Iruka before disappearing hurriedly.
Report to the hokage. it's obvious he knows what happened...
she slowly looked up as she felt a presence watching her.
she looked towards the remaining anbu and they dispersed.

Neko looked down at the boy as she layed him lightly down on his bed.
You poor child...
She whispered before looking around his small apartment. She was one of the few anbu that lived in the same building so that she was more of a guardian but never actually been in the apartment before.
It was spotless, only loose dust here and there, but other than that it was cleaner then her own apartment.
She looked down at the nightstand and picked up a picture frame to see Naruto and the pink haired girl he always hung out with, a small visible pink dust across his cheek as they had  their arms around each other's shoulder for the picture.
She smiled slightly before placing the picture down and going to the others.
only a few friends at the academy she could conclude... but it was enough for Naruto as he always held a big smile.
Naruto turned in his sleep as she sat the frame down and slowly walked out of the room and towards the door, giving one last look towards the sleeping blond.
just rest Naruto.
she whispered before closing the door behind her.

What do you mean you won't punish the jinchuriki!?
A shout in the council chamber made Neko pause and look towards the slightly cracked door.
Naruto is not at fault, he was forced to do what he did and was able to fend off the traitor in the village and protected his sensei.
The Hokage's voice rang making shouts of outbursts rung out into the halls.
Neko slowly opened the door and stand next to the other anbu in the chamber.
Naruto is safe and resting.
Neko stated making Hiruzen look over and nod.
Do you have any proof that boy fended off Mizuki?
Koharu asked making Hiruzen grab a scroll and place it down onto the ground.
This scroll contains Mizukis... ashes.
He stated grimly.
The boy has a very obvious fire affinity and it is strong.
Hiruzen commented making Homura hum in thought.
Also it seemed that Iruka was able to confirm that he saw a shadow above him using a jutsu to protect him... though he did not see Naruto, he heard his voice.
Hiruzen stated making Iruka who was in the room nod in confirmation, though he seemed to be very beat up and injured.

Koharu nodded in understanding before looking towards Iruka.
you said Naruto was able to learn a jutsu from the scroll?
She asked making Iruka reply back.
Yes, it seemed he was genuinely hoping to pass this test Mizuki tasked him with so he could be a gennin. That's why I think he should be.
A civilian merchant stood up and slammed his hand down on the desk.
Outrageous! That thing does not need any more power then what it already has!
Tsume Inuzuka scoffed before looking towards the merchant in disgust.
It seems you do not understand that this is Shinobi matters...
She reminded making the man growl before her slitted eyes scanned him.
..and you better hold that tongue of yours about Naruto-kun or someone might just cut it out.
She smirked seeing the man sit down.
Tsume-chan is right, this is shinobi matters, and I whole heartedly agree on Naruto being a genin.
Hiruzen stated.
He shows his dedication to the village, let him be what he wants for that.
He finished making the civilian side grumble knowing they were defeated.
Neko smiled beneath her mask.

Hiruzen called before pulling out two headbands and a scroll.
give these to Naruto-kun... congratulate him for me.
She smiled and nodded.
