Lydia's POV

I was laying on top of a hill with Shikamaru. We've been friends since we were kids. I've always had a crush on him. I know having a crush on the laziest ninja in the village isn't really my thing since I'm always doing things. But Shikamaru is actually really smart and he believes in his friends 110%.

We were looking at clouds in silence. It was a comfortable silence though.

"Hey Lydia." Shikamaru said.

I thought he would be asleep already.

"Hm." I said.

"Do  you like anyone." He said.

"Yeah but I don't know if he likes me back." I said.

"You never know he may like you back." Shikamaru said.

I take a deep breath.

"Shikamaru." I said.

He sits up. I don't ever call him by his full name.

"Yeah." He said.

I was getting really nervous.

"I really like you." I muttered.

"What was that." He said.

"I really like you." I said a little louder.

"Lydia speak u.." Shikamaru said.

I kinda lost my temper.

"I REALLY LIKE YOU FOR KAMI SAKE." I yelled frustrated.

Then I realized what I said. My face was red. I try not to look at him.

"I've liked you for awile and I already know you like me." Shikamaru said.

"How did you find out." I said.

"Naruto." He said.

Naruto was the only person I told about liking Shika. Shikamaru then put his hand my chin making me face him.

"So you knew I like you and you like me back so why haven't made a move." I said.

"I've tried but I've thought that it was drag because I had to make the first move." He said.

My eye twitched. I hit him upside the head.

"Baka it's rude to keep a girl waiting." I said.

Shikamaru then rubbed his head sighing.

"Troublesome woman." He muttered.

Then he sighed. He then pressed his lips against mine. Their soft and felt amazing. He wrapped his arms around my waist while I put them around his neck. When then pulled apart.

"Will you be my girlfriend Lydia." Shikamaru said.

"I don't know? It might be a drag." I said teasing him.

"So is that a yes." He said.

"Yes." I said. Shikamaru kissed me again but with more passion.

I would kiss him all day. We had to cut it short since it was getting dark. Shikamaru walked me to my house.

"I'll you tomorrow." He said.

"Yep and don't sleep till noon." I said.

"I can't promise you that." He said.

I then kiss him.

"Goodnight Shika. Now go before Yoshino yells at you for being out late." I said.

"Your right. Goodnight." Shikamaru said and walks away.

"Mom nagging going to be a drag. Especially about me and Lydia. Women are so troublesome." He said sighing.

"I heard that baka." I yelled at him.

He then poofed away. I rolled my eyes. Oh how I love my boyfriend.
