You look at your sleeping boyfriend, his admiring his face, his perfect jawline, licious lips, his dark tied up hair and a ear piercing, smiling softly as you look at him.

He opened his left eye and looked at you. "Would you stop stsring at me, you're creepy."he said, you then chuckled. ''i can't help it.''you laughed, he just sighed and turned to the other side away from from you. ''troublesome.''he said.

you just pouted at his actions, he's been ignoring you, he talks to the others sometimes but not to you, and you're starting to get tired of it, you're not the kind of girl that has been so troublesome to shikamaru, in fact, you have the same intelligence but you're sweeter and not lazy.

''Shikamaru, i'm starting to get tired of this, why are you ignoring me?''you said.

''ignoring you? but i just talked to you seconds ago.''he said.

''then face me.''you said, he just rolled his eyes and didn't obeyed your orders.

''no, i'm tired.''he said in a strict tone, you couldn't help and roll your eyes away from him and cocked an eyebrow.

''but you're always been tired, physically, and i have been tired too, emotionally.''you said and stood up. ''where are you going?''he asked, you patted your shorts/skirt and started to walk away. ''somewhere that people that don't ignore me.''you said in a angry tone, he didn't do anything but just laid down and relaxed, not bothering to follow you.

after the day, you have been talking to tsunade for a girl talk, hearing girl advices and she's been wanting you to train under her strenght, so you and sakura are together at the hokage's office.

''well then, tommorow is we're going to train, you don't wanna be late okay? 6am.''tsunade said, you and sakura just nodded with a smile. ''yes mam!''you both said in a same time, as the three of you talked and chatted alot, a knock on the door intterupted the fun.

''come in.''the hokage said, the door opened and closed, and it was your boyfriend, he looked at you with a blank expression and back to the hokage, not caring if you're here or not.

''is there something you wanted to tell me?''he asked.

''ah yes, here is a mission for you, a C-rank mission.''tsunade said, you were surprised for the mission,you know it might not be too hard for shikamaru but it is indeed a dangerous and it might kill him because he will be a jounin sooner.

''C-rank? what is it?''

''it is a very important and dangerous mission, the task is to protect the princess of (village name), the princess is indeed a target of one of the most dangerous and criminals here, and your mission is to take the princess safe to the most hidden and safest village, the Maochi village.''she said.

(maochi was the village of my oc before she moves to konoha, so why not use that right?)

''the trip to maochi village is just 3 days, and it is very dangerous too, it is a like risking task, so you have to bring a extra medic.''she continued.

''why not the ninjas in her village? why me?''shikamaru asked.

''it is assumed that the princess chose you, she said that you are indeed a smart and strong ninja here in the village and she chose you to be the main protector, and what i mean you're gonna control her actions and what she needs to do when the time comes up and the enemies attack, so i trust you in this one, please don't make the hidden leaf's ninjas a embarrassment.''

''i wont, when will the mission starts?''

''start packing getting ready, because you have a trip later night.''she said, you stood up from the chair. ''wait, if he needs a medic i can come.''you protested.

''no, you don't have to.''shikamaru said, looking at you.

''sure thing, (y/n).''tsunade said.

''but, its too dangerous, and besides, i'm not gonna do anything stupid to kill myself.''shikamaru said in a annoyed voice, you just cocked your eyebrow. ''are you this stubborn?''you said.

he then looked at you. ''i'm not stubborn, i can do it by myself, and infact that the princess only hired one ninja here in konoha.''he said.

''i supposed that shikamaru is right, you should stay here and trust him in this one.''tsunade said, you just sighed and put a soft smile.

''okay.. but be back in one week?''you said, forgotting about you said and the two of you are not okay.

''whatever.''he yawned, you just put on a angry face and rolled yours eyes, your mood was back of being mad at him instead of kissing him goodbye.

''rude.''you muttered, but good thing he didn't heard it.

(Y/n)'s POV

It's 7pm, and he just ate dinner, and of course i know because i saw him eating ramen, and i am waiting for him here at konoha's gate.

Where the hell is he anyway?

I tried looking around and there he is, all cool and stuff, and i don't think he's affected ny any of our arguements, i showed up infront of him even though he's 3 feet away.

"Hm? What are you doing here?"he asked in an un-interested tone.

"You didn't even said goodbye to me before you leave."i said in a worried tone.

"do i have too? I mean i will be back in one week."he said.

''it's a life risking mission, what is you didn't even survived it?''i said in a cold tone this time.

''oh please, i'm not gonna do anything stupid, i know how to take care of myself of god's sake.''he said and rolled his eyes, did he just? Er.

''You're stupid, you don't get it at all.''i said in anger, he's pissing me off.

''So do you.''he said and started to walk in my direction, passing through my spot, i didn't looked back to him and just styed and focused on some places, i don't wanna look at his face, he's stupid face.

''I hate you.''i whispered and walked away, i didn't felt him reacted to anything, i just walked away not letting him speak and respond, because i think he isn't gonna respond anything.

It's been a god damn week! a fucking week! where the hell is that guy?! is he there with the fucking princess and protecting her or he just doesn't wanna see his girlfriend bragging?! the pineapple asshole!

i stepped inside the hokage's office, looking around, all of the gang is inside, and yes, i was invited of this party too.

''i'm here.''i said, tsunade looked at me, and closed it, cocking an eyebrow and standing next to my team and sakura, my heart is getting worried and its tearing apart slowly.

''i believe that Shikamaru.... is now gone.''tsunade said, making his tone a little ya-know, serious as ever.

my world just fell apart, my world stopped moving, and this inside me just stopped beating for a second.

''W-wait! have you checked on the others?! i-i mean what if they just didn't looked for shikamaru hard enough! this can't be!!''ino protested.

''Y-yeah! c-come on! i know its been one week but shikamaru won't let and do anything stupid to kill himself, i know that guy! he can survive any battle! believe me!'' i yelled.

''it is clarified, the ninjas said that the ninjas that were protecting the princess died, and only the princess and shikamaru's body wasn't found, but it is clarified, that they are dead caused of drowing in a deep water.''tsunade said, i looked down as my eyes went all blurry, tears started to roll down my cheeks as i gritted my teeth, ino started to cry like hell, and the others just went quiet.

''(y-y/n)-chan.. i-i'm sorry, i felt bad...''sakura said in a worried tone, i started to run away as some voices spoke my name, but i ignored them, i exited the hokage's tower and went straight to shikamaru's house, and there is his mother, sitting down, holding the little jacket shikamaru used to wear when he was 13, kneeling down on the floor, curling his fingers tighter and tighter as he cries even harder.

''(y-y/n)...''he called my name sadly, i just looked at her with pitynes and went straight to shikamaru's bedroom, opening his closet wide open, looking at his clothes as tears roll down my cheeks, gritting my teeth.

Why do you have to be so dumb? you're so stupid.

i hold onto the clothes hanging from the hanger, pulling it out as i sniffed and feel him with his t-shirt, closing my eyes shut and just cried.

''Why could you do this to me shika?''i muttered between sobs, in just any second, a ring intterupted my sobs, i pulled my phone out and answered it, placing my phone next to my ear as i stopped from crying.

''Speak.'' i said.

''(y-y/n)-chan..i-it's shikamaru...''
