After Naruto the hokage everything. Like Mileena said, Naruto now kept everything professional with the hokage. The third was saddest that Naruto no longer saw him as a grandfather but deep down he knew he had it coming. That Mileena person was right about not protecting Naruto in the proper way. Honestly he should have been. They were both right about the villagers' hatred. To be honest he didn't know what Minato was thinking of saying Naruto would be a hero. Those foolish boys should have known how jinchuuriki are treated. Naruto was right to say that sometimes being a genius is never a good thing. Orochimaru and itachi are examples. He hopes one day he can gain his trust again.

At the academy

Naruto is bored, he really hates the academy. And having classmates staring at him because he is no longer wearing orange. He is now wearing a copy of mileena outfit pink and everything. He brought a pair of sais from a ninja store. Naruto getting more annoyed with the staring. He caught one kid trying to take his mask off and he responded by snapping that kid's wrist. No one ever tried that again.

He is right now sitting under a tree. away from everyone, Naruto has no friends here at the village and he doesn't want one here. He is done trying to impress them and try to be friendly only to get it spit back in his face.

"Hey this spot taking?" Shikamaru asked. Naruto remembers trying to make friends with him and choji only for them to turn their back on him. They rat him out with a prank they agreed to help.

"Yes, beat it." Naruto said. But instead shikamaru lies next to him anyway saying it is too troublesome to move. Annoyed, Naruto picked up the lazy nara and found a spot near his friend then roughly dropped him."there is a spot for yourself, now leave me be." Naruto said, leaving everyone dumbfounded. Normally they all thought he would be nice and let Shikamaru be but they didn't suspect this. Now they wonder what is going on with Naruto.

Naruto went back to his spot. Today is team placement and he hopes to have a decent team. Naruto lowered his mask to eat his lunch. He doesn't want anyone to see his mouth. As he eats he hears a bark. Naruto looks down and sees Akamaru, wagging his tail. Akamaru walked over to Naruto and lay on his lap. Naruto didn't know what to do, so he let the pup lay there. For some reason Naruto has a warm feeling seeing the pup laying there. He scratches his ears and feeds him some of his lunch. He does wonder why the pup is here and not with Kiba but he has his answer: see the horny mutt try to flirt with some girls.

"Pathetic horny mutt." Naruto said.

"Everyone comes back in, time for placements." Iruka said.

Naruto groans and picks up akamaru. "Why do I feel like I'm gonna hate my team."
